Which one was your favorite?!
The second one you cut. But I’m not through watching you! You got me started rock hounding. But where I live in Alabama, I have not found any agates yet. I have found some cool rocks though. I have to drive about 70 miles north to even find a good rock bed! The pretty rocks I did find were
3 hours away. But I don’t have a saw yet. I’m praying to get one though. Any way thank you for all the cool videos!
The first multi colored one the big one. I love agatetilized choral. I’m going to buy one!❤
Okay your favorite was my favorite! I reminds me of a blue marlin! So cool!
They often remind me of stylistic butterflies! 🦋
Timestamp 11:31 omgosh 😲 that's the most exciting bubble 🫧 explosion of color I've ever seen 😍 omgosh that's dope!!
Even after they have died they are still beautiful. Mother nature just keeps on giving.
100% man made stuff is such garbage. Mother Nature is truly the greatest, nothing goes to waste
Omg the colours are amazing. Absolutely stunning. And some crap for the flower bed…
Thank You Rick for the amazing oops. They were beautiful. 🤗🤗💞💞
7:23 i honestly still like that one. You get a peak into the inner parts of coral. It's still a good fossil in general and I would personally be more than happy to have it in my collection
#2 was an exclamation point. Love the dot at the bottom.
As an online seller, I have to admit that mixing up mailing labels does happen...often. You just have to hope that the recipients on both ends are understanding, and to make things right for everyone involved. What a pleasant surprise for you. 👍😉
Oh Boy, Do I love this Coral!!! So beautiful! What fun and how nice of the guy you got them from that let you keep them!
#3 (the blue and black one) was my favorite.right up until you cut the really long one....the next to last one that you turned the hose on. THAT one is absolutely spectacular!!!
Geeze I worry about your fingers. I guess once a mom always a mom
I didn't realize that coral could agatize... how amazing!
I love it when you cut coral I think it's just amazing to see what has happened inside a living plant over the years as it died. But the cuts of the big ones were phenomenal I was just speechless!
You may be interested to know that coral is made up of tiny animals called polyps. It gets fossilized and agatized over millions of years.
They are all so beautiful but the one you hosed off was exceptional. So many beautiful colours well done.
That first one is my favorite when under the UV light. Beautiful.
My favorite is your favorite! Wow, that thing is gorgeous!!❤❤❤❤❤
There was some pretty sweet surprises on this one but I loved the same one you did. Beautiful.
The one you cleaned with the brush was my favorite!
#1 is so amazing, the shape and the way the banding moves around the edges.
The big one is a no brainer, the blue is gorgeous.
I live way too close to the areas where these are found to not check it out. I can go from Tampa all the way to the Swanee just visiting family. 😂
Also AD if you come here yourself to look, you will see much bigger bugs, EVERYWHERE! Just a heads up. Great video as always, and what an amazing treat from your friend!
Hi,
My Mum has just gifted me one of your ammonite pendants for my birthday.
So perfect, thank you!
Yeeeees, I made it! Greetings from Texas ☀️🔥🔥🔥
Wow! How amazing was that? I liked the biggest one the best.
Wow. This stuff checks all my boxes and now I want to do this for a living!
I've never seen agatized coral before! Those were amazing! Really cool video! 👍
Thanks for watching!
First one looked like a brain the third looked like a full moon over the ocean. Absolutely beautiful.
Love the blue black white corals.
WOW! WOW! WOW!
But but but..... are you still getting the rocks you originally ordered?
Of course
The third to last was absolutely stunning!
14:40 It looks like butterfly wings. 😍
Thanks Rick! And thank you Agate dad for sharing! Absolutely stunning coral! 😊
Glad you like it!
The second one looks like a moon over a black sky. Beautiful
You should glue that piece. 4:50 😉
Thanks for the great videos, I love to collect rocks. I haven’t tried cutting them with a saw yet.
You should!
You should!
@@AgateDad I dont have a nice saw like you do,lo
Stunning! Thank you for sharing! 😊
0:30 I didn’t check all the comments…. But hoping someone mentioned what happens when you put a black light on these coral. An explosion of detail and colors. I saw Kyle do it with his flashlight uv light and woah. You would be taken back by it. You could do a whole new video just showing before and after with black light flash light
They are beautiful!
My favorite was the very first one. From the outside you could definitely see it is a coral fossil and the inside fossilized and agatized. It is awesome!
I wonder if the fossils that didn't show any agate show anything under UV light? That would be interesting.
Thanks for sharing. Will pop over to Rick's page to thank him.
How about telling us about those Coral Geodes while your
cutting them.
Like, where they originate, how they form etc.
Just a thought, so I don't have to do the research, I'm lazy:)
Cheers,
Rik Spector
i’ve only been interested in rock hounding and lapidary for about 48 hours now but i’ve probably watched about 15 of these videos now. the ones with black in the middle are always my favorite. (huge honorable mention for the thunder eggs with stars inside)
OMG how Beautifu!
Gawgeous!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
How many rocks have you cut by now?!? ROCK ON!! 😁👍🏻🪨⛏️

Who need diamonds when you have rocks!…lol so beautiful, amazing
I am binge watching your videos. I am seeing them all out of order. On one video, I think you mentioned that you had lots of children. How many sons? Daughters? Ages? Are they rock hounds too?
The one at 11:29 is a stunner!
I wonder how many states you've cut agates from? It sure would be interesting to see you cutting agates open from across the U.S.A.!!!
Thanks Rick!
"Lumpity, bumpity," technical rock description.. Jeannine
I like the blue botryoidal "goodness." Definitely "resembles grapes."
I like the black and also the yellowish inside the big coral. very nice looking also the white, black and bluish inside the small one. The next last big one was beautiful!!
How do you know the difference between a coral fossil and an agatized coral fossil, if they don’t have holes? Or do you?
Maybe 100 million years in the future something will be admiring agatized human bones

Ok. But where do I buy them? I know there are TONS of scam sites. But I want some to cut for myself so badly tbh
That 900 bucks would have been an absolute ripoff with this many duds in the pack
I see it was really difficult to make the most out of that mistake 😂 thanks for all your hard work, Buddy🎉
That poor bug that crawled on your neck, looked like a cicada, totally harmless. 😿👵😸
These are stunning, personally I love the ones that are mostly black/blue! They look like the ocean solidified in a coral or rock
Beautiful!❤ I wouldn't blame you a bit if every one of them went in your collection ❤❤❤
Well, I guess …I guess that the big multicoloured one at 12 min I beyond beautiful
Great mistake!!
We just ordered some of these but smaller ones, wondering if you could share some of your favorite places to source from ?
I like all the black and blue bots, but the long, hollow one at 11:29 is my favourite. Thank you Agate Dad and I will check your friends Etsy shop out later 😀👍
Thanks Rick!!😊❤
11:59 😮🤯
Did you set that bug free?😢
Very hit or miss but wow the good ones were spectacular and these might be my favorite type of agate you’ve cut. ❤
That second to last one was extraordinary and beautiful. Also liked the first one.
Hi...I'm new
But I can feel your Joy right through the ocean to Germany 💙
The ones that aren't your favorites, you should look at them under UV light as well.
Could you please make sure you don’t hold that laugh of yours back. Must keep the character

I wonder what mineral causes the botraiyadeel to be blue.... so beautiful
The one at 11:30 really reminds me of the upper peninsula of Michigan by shape
No way never got any kind of rocks or agates can’t even find much in my area just got to get out there more😢❤
Happy Little Accident !! Thanks, Rick!! 😂
my trypophobia killed me in this video. But loved the agtes!
That is so unique like HOW can you choose a favourite really…
Can't wait
Some of the ones you didn't like would be pretty filled with resin.
Loved the larger ones kind of looks like outer space
I was so nervous about your thumbs ,you get so close to your saw but great video ❤
Is that rust color from iron oxidizing bacteria ?
Very Cool! Of course I love the next to last!
The one you cut open at 11:37 is beautiful!
Right?
I love them all! I think the black is just so beautiful!
1st 1Then the second to last And then the last are my favorites
Wow, an amazing cut session. I was ooing over these!
How can you tell before cutting if the coral is agatized?
That first one and the big one are gorgeous
How did you get a box of rocks on accident?
Watch the video
@@AgateDadsorry. I did watch the video while I was doing some work in the kitchen and I must’ve missed that part. Again, so terribly sorry to have inconvenienced you so much.
Agatized coral is the state fossil of Florida!
What part of Florida. I live about 2 hours away from Destin and Panama City, do you think you could find them there?
Agatized coral is the state fossil of Florida. Perhaps there are some gem and mineral societies that could tell you good sites. Google, and check with the Florida Department of State.
The last one looked like feet, toes, at first glance.
Wowizers that was awsome🎉🎉🎉 thanks Rick
Can you share where you buy the coral agates?
Mr Grinch’s heart!
10:43 uncut it looks like a dinosaur 🦕
Last one Looks Like a butterfly
Fun one and great accidental gift to you.
