Mr. Fowler truly cares about Chevron's law. He's a guardian of it. Protector of all he surveys. Do not film his kingdom or Chevron Fire will see about this.
If your job is security, you should have the right training to enable you to understand the law, and your boundaries. Poorly trained security guard with a bad attitude
I’m retired Illinois state LEO and security guards like this are common…when in reality a security guard is supposed to observe and report…that’s the extent of the job description. Problem is lots of 40-60 year old guys with failed careers/life choices working as a guard for $14…hour want to project legal authority they do not possess to compensate for their lack of success in life.
Indeed, that Rent-A-Cop is a clear and present danger to society and to himself becasue he can get fired for being so disrespectul and contemptuous toward the First Amendment Tester.
Hi from a 9 year career security enforcement officer. Not a patrolman, not a guard, an *enforcer* of policy. You are absolutely right. You did nothing wrong and never violated Chevron property. Chevron has no law, they only have policy. You did good to stand up to these morons. And thanks for not blurring any faces, if they show up at my site I'll tell my F/S to send someone else.
While the security guard was watching him take pictures all day long with "yes, we will see" and he never came back out to back his word that it wouldn't be on his watch.
Sad thing is... if this had gotten physical, guard would get fired... He would not get a prize from Chevron like he thinks he would have... Chevron does not care about you Fowler... just accept that...
Lol When his "work wife" called him back, I wish you had said "You're dismissed." His reaction would have been priceless. Thanks for posting. You did great.
For a while I was an armed guard, and there is one golden rule about company policy..... It ONLY applies on company property. A guards authority ENDS at the gate/entrance.
I applaud your ability to stay calm and resolute. We need more people like you. I on the other hand have a personal space rule. Violation of said rule results in immediate and relentless first strike. No other reason to violate someone's personal space other than physical assault or intimidation to do so.
oh Mr Fowler.... just pick up your cheque and go home to your family... why are you trying to be a superhero for a company that doesnt give a shit about you? lol
I had to do some check on learning with a guard about how to handle people recording o private property. - 1. What does the property manager or property owner want to happen on their property? If they say they don't want people recording on their property, fine that's easy to handle. - 2. What is your property line? Do you know where your established perimeter is? If you do that's great, if not you need to get that perimeter confirmed by the property management or property owner. This will assist you in understanding where the line between public and private property is. - 3. The day has come. Some guy with a lot of time on his hands is taking pictures or video of the property you are overseeing. First, evaluate the situation. Is he causing a problem? By which I mean is he bothering patrons, in peoples way, appear threatening, or acting in an abusive manor towards people? No? Awesome. If he is, that's a different subject. - 4. Is he actually on your property? If not, no worries he's just some weird guy with a lot of time on his hands. He is on the property? No worries, politely ask him who he is working for. If he does not list a business or tenant on the property you are overseeing inform him that he is on private property and recording isn't allowed. This is where this usually ends, most people just leave. - 5. It didn't end, he didn't leave, and he is continuing to record. Oh boy, now you have paperwork to do later. Ok, again no worries, take a step back and contact backup if you have it. With the correct information, inform them of what is happening, do not exaggerate. The guy is refusing to follow your request to not record on private property that has a policy against recording. Inform him that you are now directing him to stop recording or to leave the property. - 6. He decides to disregard you, that's ok no reason to get worked up. If you have backup on the way great, if not just be cognizant of your lack of backup. You now directly ask him to leave the property. He decides to decline, inform him that you are now going to contact law enforcement to have him trespassed off the property. - 7. At this point, if you do not have backup do not wait around, do not debate further, do not engage in conversation, move back at least 100 feet from the subject and while maintaining visual of him contact your local law enforcement. At this time make sure that you already have a good description of the individual. If you are able to safely do so begin recording him for potential evidence and future use. - 8. If at #4 they haven't left this is where the hard headed ones usually do. They don't typically want contact with the police. - 9. He hasn't left and is continuing to record. That's fine, maintain a safe distance and continue to maintain a good visual. The 911 operator may stay on the line with you, if they do just update them of his status every so often or upon a request to do so. For example, maybe he is walking west on the property towards a store. - 10. When law enforcement arrives, make your presence known to them in a safe manner. The Operator should have asked if you are wearing a visible security uniform, always describe what you are wearing to the operator so police know who to look for. For example, blue polo with security on it and black slacks. - 11. Inform the officers what the individual is doing and that he has refused to leave private property upon request. Inform the officers that the property manager or owner would like the individual trespassed. If it is a single building provide the address to the officer that he is to be trespassed from as well as a name of the address. If it is a business center or plaza inform the officer that the he is to be trespassed from the entire property, for this provide the address and suite numbers, for example Gold Plaza, 123 Main St. Suites 1-50, the entire property, including the parking lot and all businesses herein. It's more of a pain for the officers but it can usually be done. - 12. Incident over, now you have paperwork to do and a property manager or owner to call. Back to your patrol.
OMG ~ That was absolutely priceless!!! Chevron law huh??? That dingbat guard did NOT want to retreat when called back to his post. And what the heck was the threat with Chevron Fire all about? What they gonna do: Hose ya down??? LOL ~ I think by the time that old fool realized how idiotic he was making himself look it was too late and his pride took over when he should've just walked away. This was comical!!
Guards like him are classic, the more they are ignorant of the law, the more they are adamant they are right. When they are told they are wrong. They probably blame a change in the law they missed
Mr. Fowler has to go now....apparently he's been called back due to his obnoxious behavior. Hope he's learned something today because his educational career hasn't been that extensive so far.
Why These Filmmakers Are Our Best Chance To Change The World For The Better. The movement to film public servants doing their jobs is a movement on the right side of justice. We need to explain to public servants, while they are being filmed, how this will keep themselves and their loved ones safe. Most evil things are done outside of the light. When these filmmakers bring light, they bring safety to everyone in the light. When someone films an encounter between a public servant(P.S.) and a citizen, all parties are protected. P.S.s have been protected when a third party has filmed an encounter and the film proved the P.I. was in the right. But the filmmakers should not have a hostile attitude from the beginning. If they calmly explain to P.S.s the good that comes from their filming and that only P.S.s doing wrong would want them not to film, then the P.S. should support filming. Remind them that the minority corrupt and dangerous P.S.s are a danger to their loved ones as well. Tell them filming P.S.s as much as possible, not only protects everyone, but it also exposes the P.S.s that are strongly against filming because their wrong deeds are done easier in darkness. Many honest P.S.s may wrongfully assume that the filmmaker is trying to bust honest P.Ss on technical infractions, assure them that this is not your intention. Filmmakers should talk to P.Ss as possible future teammates on their quest for openness, light and safety. Then after all of this is explained, the P.S.s that still don't support filming are probably corrupt. Then tell them to "kick rocks" and expose them on UA-cam so we know who the dark agents are, and we can work to get them out of their positions of power. But if the filmmakers change their mentality, they can recruit honest P.Ss to their cause and really change the world.
First Amendment Tests your videos are absolutely fascinating. You are one of the individuals that inspired me to start conducting First Amendment Audits of my own. Your style and approach is very authentic and unique. You truly are a First Amendment Audit legend. I look forward to seeing more audits from you in the future.
Why is it that all of these buildings have a shit-ton of cameras on them and they always say you cannot film? They are saying "We can film the public all we want, but the public cannot film us...."
I didn't know respect had an age requirement? Have you ever worked in customer service? That alone will teach you the fact that people don't get any smarter with age nor do they deserve to be treated any different from another adult.
Essentially, by acting outside the scope of his authority, the security guard is breaking the law. I suspect his bosses realized this and quickly reined him in. He is lucky.
lol @ under chevrons law.... you will not take pictures on my duty.... FOWLER! FOWLER! ok...i'm coming... (tongue tied) MR. FOWLER!! OOOKAY IM COMING!!!!
4:25 - Did he grab your equipment or you in any way? This guy is something else. You should have told him to stay out of your personal space or you will take that as a threat and defend yourself (the correct way to say it - I would have said it differently). A real tough and scary guy!! What a joke.
What's interesting, is they give an uneducated fool a badge and a uniform is often goes to their head. This was evident in Germany, and now in So. Cal. on public property. Simply amazing!
Have you ever been to Germany? Securitys here are not in "should look like police" uniforms and usally don't go over their lawful limits. (If you mentioned the Situation before 1945 please correct me)
It doesn't matter when, what and why he was there. What matters is someone have to stand up to the plate. I couldn't do what this man did because I would have not had been so patient with a security guard. The guard was wrong for acting like he doesn't belong when clearly he can be wherever he want to be. Love citizens that stick up for themselves. Never give up.
It doesnt matter the purpose of him being there? I think it does to an extent. Someone with passive purposes or motives for being there like filming smoke stacks or the warning signs for carcinogenic substances on site would be able to get that footage from a distance. He even showed some footage of those two things from a distance without getting bothered. Its when he decided to go right up to the gate and film, in their faces. I just can't think of a good purpose for being there to film, other than simply to "exercise his 1st amendment right" for the purpose of having someone challenge him on it so he could react this way and show his knowledge of the amendment.
He didn't "back down". He was forced to go back to his position by his boss or risk losing his job. Of course, if you ask me, he should have lost his job anyway for not doing as he was told WHEN he was told, but that's another argument.
Any day when people exercise their Constitutional (legal) rights and record the reactions of self important, self righteous buttercups to the sight of people engaged in lawful public photography is always the good days of auditing. The only bad thing about it is that after more than 6 years their are still snowflakes who lack the intelligence to comprehend that their feelings and egos do not trump the law.
The security guard is poorly trained and highly uneducated. Whomever is training him needs to be fired. Very sad
Mr. Fowler truly cares about Chevron's law. He's a guardian of it. Protector of all he surveys. Do not film his kingdom or Chevron Fire will see about this.
"Mr.Fowler" is a hopped up tinpot Tyrant Pig idiot.
Fowler needs to stay inside Chevron’s property. He is a danger.
Indeed, that Rent-A-Cop is a clear and present danger to society and to himself becasue he can get fired for being so disrespectul and contemptuous toward the First Amendment Tester.
Mr Fowler doing his 'Dad' glare and not understanding why it's not working.
Priceless
Security guard is not very intelligent.
Anyone who would work a job that pays that poorly can not be very smart They are likely lazy and unambitious
Correctional officers are even worse
Actually I thought he owned the guy.
That "under Chevron's law" made me literally laugh out loud.
WarpRulez The security guard will lock him up . Then put him in the janitor closet
on my duty!
"You're not taking pictures on my duty" this guy acts like he is saving babies😂
Wow he's angry about it like he is CEO OF CHEVRON
Mr Fowler!!! Get your ass INSIDE! Ouch, that must've hurt his feelings so bad....
When he started looking at the camera i had a staring contest with him, I won.
that guard backed down when someone yelled at him to get his azz back on Chevron property
If anyone ever deserved a “You’re dismissed.” it was this guy.
Best wishes from the UK.
That "woman" I thought was a 10 year old boy walking up lol
It's 2023......I remember this video when it was first posted.....Man how time flies.
While the security guard was watching him take pictures all day long with "yes, we will see" and he never came back out to back his word that it wouldn't be on his watch.
When the black guard came up and said, "Chevron's Law," I would have laughed my ass off at him.
Sad thing is... if this had gotten physical, guard would get fired... He would not get a prize from Chevron like he thinks he would have... Chevron does not care about you Fowler... just accept that...
Ha ha, he was called like a mother calling her son for dinner.
Legend has it Mr. Fowler is STILL standing in front of Chevron.....
You handled that like a boss👍! Wonder if mr.fowler was either a failed cop or couldn't be a cop? Hes got the aggression to be a cop.
My fav audit of all time. This guard is so hilarious
Mr. Fowler has become a legend in his own time...
Mr. Fowler, your mamma is calling.
Lol When his "work wife" called him back, I wish you had said "You're dismissed." His reaction would have been priceless. Thanks for posting. You did great.
"Sir!!! I do NOT abide by Chevron's policies. I only adhere to the policies of Sunoco!"
That guards not to bright! Needs to be fired! He's gonna get that company in big trouble!
Security guards make the funniest situations out of their perceptions of legal vs illegal vs policy 😂😂
For a while I was an armed guard, and there is one golden rule about company policy.....
It ONLY applies on company property.
A guards authority ENDS at the gate/entrance.
Wow, that security guard was pretty intense.
I'm actually taking 60 pictures a second 😂😂😂
I applaud your ability to stay calm and resolute. We need more people like you. I on the other hand have a personal space rule. Violation of said rule results in immediate and relentless first strike. No other reason to violate someone's personal space other than physical assault or intimidation to do so.
It's a shame Chevron's Fire Department didn't show up. The fire in that guard's butt must have been painful for the rest of his shift.
Looks like they are aware of Mr. Fowler's issues.
The ignorance in this country is overwhelming. Give them a blue clown suit and they think they're something. SMH
Glad to see Nipsie Russell found a part time job after retirement.
sam torres and like nipsy he laughed loud at his own bad jokes and afterward asked Uh, nipsy is gettin' paid right y'all ?
This is a classic! I wish this auditor would make more videos. His channel got me into these type of videos along with Jeff Gray
He looks like the kinda guy who's lights are on but there's no one at home..
Under chevrons law omg I haven't laughed like that in a while
One wonders if Mr Fowler ever got a clue
I'd love to be in the room when his employer saw this video.
"Mr. Fowler, where did you earn your law degree?" "Chevron U!. Where the school motto is 'We pass more gas than students'."
John Johansen bro it’s said Chevron U is the most prestige university it makes Harvard look like Elementary school
I got my law degree from Everest nigga!
This clown should be fired for harassing a law abiding citizen who's minding his own business, disgusting bullying tactics.
and who are you to say he should be fired? Do you think you are his boss? GTFOH !
What the hell is Chevron law? Wannabe gangster cop is his best. Mama must have been proud... except for the brain damage.😮😮😮
1:48 - Under Chevron Law - This fool has absolutely no clue WTF he’s talking about...
Great video as usual! Great to see someone standing up to authority when its unjust. Keep it up!
Well, I would have said it's not authority. Fake authority or bullying seem more appropriate.
He is trying SO HARD to be intimidating...and FAILING MISERABLY!
They’re calling you back in like a dog 😂
Lol
You should've told him "don't go away mad, just go away".
"Under chevron's law," haaaaaaaaaaaaa! I laughed my ass off!
Oh u will see “ you’re gonna learn today “ 😂😂
oh Mr Fowler.... just pick up your cheque and go home to your family... why are you trying to be a superhero for a company that doesnt give a shit about you? lol
Supreem28 spot on!

His colleague was calling him to return back to his booth because she learned that he can film and take pictures from a public sidewalk.
Guards like him are classic, the more they are ignorant of the law, the more they are adamant they are right. When they are told they are wrong. They probably blame a change in the law they missed
5:24 Irony reading the sign above the guard shack. lol "Welcome to Chevron - Have a Save Day"
Obstinate ignorance is the worst.
that was the toughest walk of shame mr fowler ever made....
He wasn't trying to intimidate anyone, which is why he walked up that close to the camera and put the craziest look possible on his face.
Another power hungry under educated security guard.
This video is just as funny as it's ever been. 'You ain't taking pictures on my watch! '. "Mr. Fowler! Mr. Fowler!" "I'm going back in now." Lmao
That was his mom calling him back inside.
Look at the frustration on the face of security guard. Lol
The day Mr Fowler discovered that he was, Incompetent, irrelevant, and immaterial!
"Chevron's Law " lololol
Soon to be a series on Tyrant TV.
lol
“Oh, we’ll see.” Very silly man.
Mr. Fowler has to go now....apparently he's been called back due to his obnoxious behavior. Hope he's learned something today because his educational career hasn't been that extensive so far.

Nipsey Russell wants his cadence back....
As a security guard in traning, this is a great way to learn what not to do in these situations thanks
+Drakilicious lmao
I doubt Chevron instructed this security company and this guard to confront people outside the property line.
No, they didn't, and the woman yelling at the idiot to get back on their property was well aware of it.
First Amendment Tests your videos are absolutely fascinating. You are one of the individuals that inspired me to start conducting First Amendment Audits of my own. Thank you , that made my day ,I deal with rent a cops or wanna be,everyday, and stand my ground!
I feel bad for the old man. Nobody should disrespect the elders. That man seemed very nice under the circumstance of being filmed.
I didn't know respect had an age requirement? Have you ever worked in customer service? That alone will teach you the fact that people don't get any smarter with age nor do they deserve to be treated any different from another adult.
"Mr. Fowler, come back in here". "OK I am coming Mom"
The only way to stay free is always to test your prison walls.
Those security guards need to learn where the jurisdiction ends!
Sorry for that guy, he made himself looking very foolish on public. Better check for another job with no badge or uniform.
'Mr. Fowler, get your bitch-ass back over here', I so love this video 👍🏽
I felt like this kid was a snitch in high school
Essentially, by acting outside the scope of his authority, the security guard is breaking the law. I suspect his bosses realized this and quickly reined him in. He is lucky.
Government likes watching us but they don't like us watching them
Just imagine that tyrant guard being a cop
lol @ under chevrons law.... you will not take pictures on my duty.... FOWLER! FOWLER! ok...i'm coming... (tongue tied) MR. FOWLER!! OOOKAY IM COMING!!!!
A person given a little power will abuse it every time!

If Chevron doesnt want pictures taken then they should put up giant curtains.
A uniform can do amazing things to some people's ego.
What's interesting, is they give an uneducated fool a badge and a uniform is often goes to their head. This was evident in Germany, and now in So. Cal. on public property.

Even his Co worker knows that Black Don Knotts is crazy. Notice how many times she told him to come in?
I clicked to hear him say the whole Chevron's law thing.
We all remember the tragedy that happened that made Congress pass Chevron's Law...
that "rent-a-cop" is truly a legend in his own mind!!!!!!!!!!
This was the good old days of auditing
Any day when people exercise their Constitutional (legal) rights and record the reactions of self important, self righteous buttercups to the sight of people engaged in lawful public photography is always the good days of auditing.
