    I don't use fruity and still learned loads, you are an amazing engineer sir!

    wow what a perfect tutorial. learnt loads and im kicking myself for not thinking about sidechaining pads to thicken the reeverb.
    i am nowhere near as skilled at layering as you but ive got a small idea for you to try that works great!
    put a slight lowcut on your "tweekaz style" pluck bass and add a small amount of bitcrushing effect, add another layer matching the preset but have a sine wave to fill in the lowend and not be effected by the bitcrush. this adds some low/mid brighteness to it

    DUDE! You don't know how many times I've tried to find a tutorial for hardstyle lead layering. Now, I found it. The one, that EXACTLY I wanted (I'm a poor producer yet btw), so I just wanted to thank you so much bro!

    24:30 Soundgoodizer is a plugin that is basically 4 presets from the "Maximus" plugin included in FL, but with only 1 control knob (I believe the knob is equivalent to the LMH Mix knob in Maximus).
    If you open the Maximus plugin and go to presets you will see the 4 soundgoodizer presets at the bottom (a, b, c, d) and you can of course load them and alter the settings, if you wish.

    • @Fiddlesticks86
      @Fiddlesticks86 4 роки тому +1

      Oh I forgot to mention (but you probably already knew) It's a multiband compressor (Maximus and therefore Soundgoudizer as well) 👌🏻

    • @Fiddlesticks86
      @Fiddlesticks86 4 роки тому

      AND... I don't know if soundgoodizer pulls the presets from maximus, so altering the settings in maximus may not be reflected in soundgoodizer.
      I shall now shut up 🤐

    • @RicoLee27
      @RicoLee27 Рік тому

      @@Fiddlesticks86 it is clearly Maximus. Just a separate 1k plugin. It is also build in Vocodex

    Realy nice tutorial, appreciate it a lot! I want to give you one tip for that nasty and phasy high end coming out of most synths when making supersaws or hypersaws or stuff like that. Try that for a cleaner result: cut off the the highs at around 12-13 kHz on your layers, where the character in that area isn't that important (for example the chords) and add a layer of white noise to it with a low cut at 10-13 kHz (try out what sounds best to you), but be careful, the white noise should be in stereo, when your chords are stereo as well (for example by 2 voices of noise on one oscillator in Sylenth1 and the stereo knob as your wideness control). Then I recommend you to put an OTT on your supersaw layer, dry/wet at around 30%, just to make the sound a bit more controllable. Then, once you add a compressor (ratio 1.5 to 2 for that "glue" effect) and a tiny bit of saturation on your bus, it starts to sound very clean and leaves space for the rest of your instruments, which play in the higher register. I hope this was helpful to you guys. PS: sry for my bad english :P

    Very nice for tuto for the typical leads! Maybe you could look something up for me and make a vid about it? Atmozfears is soon releasing a new track called one in a million with code black.There are some rips on yt already. I just love the melody and the sound of it. But the thing is as good as i can hear it there are no chords. Just a nice lead a big saw bass and some plucks. But i dont get how he get to it that it nevertheless sounds that full. Maybe you could look it up and make a tuto about these type of melodies!

    Thanks for this tutorial. I'm still learning on how to do my leads correctly and try to redo all of your points in this tutorial in my perspective in achieve them
    And yeah, I think starting out a track with creating melodies first somehow makes your brain tired how to build your track and this could be changing the way I made my tracks. Maybe if I did something and feel confident, I'll share to you so you can judge how it sounds.

So a pc like you would be good for me because I saw your cpu usage and stuff . A pc equivalent to you would be enough for me to make Hardstyle.
