i have a friend who has one of these, almost exactly like this one. i have not been able to get it started since the summer. i wonder if the carb settings arent rich enough because it gotten cold out compared to summer. i dont think the fact the engine has super low compression helps though.
If the LST you got has the Mach .26 you could try the stock settings of 3 1/2 turns out from closed on the HSN and 2 turns out on the LSN. Usually if you can’t get an idle the low speed needle needs to be tuned. I got good results with a slight lean LSN and a rich HSN.
