Dude i had my first Slayer show at 16 and have seen about 12 Slayer shows since. Last year i have seen their last show at Graspop festival! They closed the night and after the show the crowd gave them a solid 30 - 45 mins of clapping and screaming!!! I have never ever seen anything like this, Tom was just walking a empty stage in tears and he was thanking every single on of the 60 - 80.000 people there... They did it for the love of music and there fans, thank you Slayer!
After 30yrs of missing them perform live due to one thing or another, I finally saw them with Lamb of God in St. Louis Mo. It was as expected, fucking awesome. Hopefully they’ll decide on one more go around. Slayer Rules!!!!
I've seen all three parts to this, this first one might be the least violent. It's bad ass. The video does have a very John Wick feel to it. Wondering if whoever produced these 3 videos got the idea for this 3 part mini-story from the John Wick movies.
You against you came out in 2015, with John wick coming out in 2014. So it was well before the other john wicks came out. And Slayer had already planned on doing a trilogy right from the start.
You're definitely getting the right vibe. Slayer is the most aggressive band violent heavy intense adrenalized whatever you want to call it. Slayer brings forth the most energy especially at their live shows no pits compare. Oddly enough there probably is some songs I could use to go to sleep to. But for the most part Slayer brings forth an aggressive masculine high energy feeling.
