Alhamdulillah!Happy for you!May Allah be pleased with us, ameen
Ya Allah. I'm a young mother living in the West and I have been searching a video on this topic for yeaaaars. This is the FIRST VIDEO of Muslim women speaking of this topic I ever found!! I chose marriage and kids instead of University and living in the West I always had to feel ashamed and feel less worthy due to my choice but my fitrah just lead me to this lifestyle and even tho I LOVE it and I CHOSE it myself, the pressure of society made me feel less alll the timeee. The biggest problem is that even MUSLIM WOMEN look down on you if you don't have a degree. This video is like gold for me! May Allah bless you! Please consider talking more about such women- centered topics since listening to men scholars on womens topics isn't the same as we always have the feeling that they just dont know what a womans life looks like.
she is a practicing doctor too so I love that she is practicing what she preaches
yes but we need to realize a man's jihad is to get income, while woman's jihad taking care of children and husband then she keeps what income she gets, so dont forget your priorities,
"Paradise is under the feet of the mother"
Your choice may not be valuable to people, but it has an extremely high value in the eyes of Allah sw. May Allah sw reward you inshallah.
My dear sister you have made the right choice as a wimpy that currently doing her master degree. I always look at young mothers who have their kids around them and they look healthy and happy. I won't lie I feel jealous and so lonely I return to an empty house and the silence is becoming deadly.
I pray for my sisters to pray that my parents can understand that education is not everything and won't hinder my wish in getting married. Allahuma Ameen keep me in your duaas please 💙
May Allah sw grant you a spouse and children that give you joy and may He reward you for your education too...all our efforts are valued by Allah sw@ghufranbakier9922
"Every responsibility is an honor. And every honor is a responsibility." Eye-opening 😍Alhamdulillah. ✨
I think women can have it all, just not at the same time. Our window for child bearing is finite, which must be kept in mind. Also finding a supportive , responsible and flexible spouse is needed. I studied and traveled for most of my 20s. I got married at 29, child at 30. Focused on family and homemakimg most of 30s. Divorced at 37, back to work. Now remarried at 40, Work PT, homeschool my kid, and going school for a certification. My husband is very non demanding and laid back. I enjoy taking care of home, my husband, and child but still furthering my education in my field.
you must have been more beautiful, ugly women need to marry younger, still divorced and still ugly and still have a terrible job but alhamdulillah I don't have burden due to my family that helps me
You're right, we can't have it all at the same time. Add in the fact that Islam encourages Muslims to have as many children as possible, it's not feasible nor recommended to delay childbearing, especially when in the modern day so many struggle with infertility. I'm glad you found something that works for you, but really women should be prioritizing family and homemaking, this is coming from someone who had to choose education and career due to familial and societal pressure and wish more than anything that I could be a homemaker.
Young mothers also don't realise how fast their children will grow inshallah, and soon will not be as dependent on them. That is the time where it becomes easier for a woman to fulfil her goals, do further study, work etc. So don't think you are stuck carrying little ones forever, your circumstances change and you will have time for yourself in the future inshallah.
Yes but that's if we're reducing motherhood to simply physically taking care of babies til they're independent enough to do things on their own. Motherhood however involves raising and nurturing young souls with the knowledge of the Deen and of the world and that extends far beyond toddlerhood. This is also a rewarding task and not a burden or obstacle towards doing more "important" things, nor would I classify it as being stuck carrying them. The whole issue is that motherhood and homemaking has been so devalued that women no longer feel important or valued unless they get a job outside the house. But no one can put a price on happy, healthy kids, a clean, warm home and healthy home-cooked meals. In fact if more families prioritized those, the entire society would be both physically and spiritually healthier and better off. It's a shame so many of us are forced to work because of the dire economic state of the world.
@@fatimahammoud9942alhamdulillah for this comment, currently going through this right now.
I could achieve anything if my husband were as supportive as my father. Under my father's care, I thrived in many roles. Now, without strong support and a positive environment, I struggle to reach my full potential. I embrace motherhood because of my love for my son, and for everything else, I try to persevere as best as I can.
my love your only support is ALLAH SWT
wallahi i always feel pressured and left out after marriage cz i found no meaning of being a house wife and student without children... i can clean 24/7 but cooking make me cry always. now i know i will be rewarded🎉 i will do more cooking ,feed my husband new food inshallah 🎉🎉
in my 25 years of i always regret not learning about islam more.
but now i am so happy that i will try again inshallah 🎉
May Allah reward you sis ❤
It is your efforts and intentions that will be recorded. Allah (swt) knows you and as long as you continue to read the Quran and follow what is Sunnah, you will grow inshallah
I am feeling so down and episodes of feeling literally lost and with no help around me. Watching to sheikha Haifaa and listening to her is giving me hope Alhumdulila.
Haven't even heard 10% of the lecture yet and I already know I'm going to shed tears. I have been feeling this way lately. I'm an undergrad student and while I see my peers going for further studies, I want to get married, have kids and build a beautiful family. But I also want to serve the people in my community through the work I want to do. I know I can take my career a lil slow but the competitiveness I see around me makes me doubt myself. My own friends judge me for choosing things differently than them. I pray Allah helps me out of this situation Inshallah.
Would love if you can say a prayer for me. Jazak Allah
may Allah help you in your path, may He make it easy for you, may he give you forbearance and patience through all your trials, may he make your heart firm and peaceful through it all🤲. As dr. Haifaa said in this video just focus on pleasing your Lord, everything else is secondary, if they judge you while you are doing something that pleases your Lord then know that you are in the right, no matter what everyone else might say
O Allah.... that makes me shiver to ask Allah...Are You happy with me...with All the sins that I know and He knows I don't have this odasity and dare to ask Him..but only astaghfirullah cos I'm struggling to please him😢
Her face looks so holy...she inspires me to wear white, beautiful hijab
This is so wonderful - so empowering to me as a woman -thank you 🙏🏼
If theres 1 video i would want to watch in my lifetime for all my problems it would be this Subhan Allah ❤❤❤
MA SHA ALLAH MA SHA ALLAH
Mashaallah. After watching this, I have made a lot of realizations. I thought my intentions were clear and sincere after resigning from my work to work on having a child. Alhamdulillah Allah swt gave us this blessing yet I am overthinking and start missing my work.😢 I am now enlightened to be sincerely grateful to Allah and do what He wants me to do and prioritize. Alhamdulillah. He wants me to prioritize my small family, my baby and to be a grateful servant. Subhanallah
Alhamdullilah jazakumllohu khoyron
Alhamdulillah love it
Jazakum LLAHO khayran❤️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
thank you for the super insightful content. I was struggling in between how to become a mom, a wife, and a designer, which I feel so overwhelmed by it. I don't know where to start, I feel sad when I'm not making more art when I'm mostly doing house chores. But after I watch this, I feel like, yeah, Allah like to see me doing this chores. Thank you so much for making me feel more ikhlas with I have now
Thank you for this message! Too many videos about how women have to make a choice and that choice being necessarily tending to your kids and not working. I love that the message here is basically tawakkul and believing that Allah will facilitate anything you want to do as long as your nya is to serve him 🤍

So true, know the words of ALLAH SWT,and your heart will get connected
I hope we can make our daughters gynaecologists, teachers and other professionals because we need them. Women can cook as much as they want, women can serve their husbands as much as they want....the truth is if you are left in the world alone, your education will help and your professional status will save you. This day and age, we need to learn like the women in the time of Islamic age. SOme cultures believe that women are only here to get objectified and have babies...we have to be educated, work and create generations of professionals. Faith is personal, nothing to do with living status
I agree with this 100%. We are living in a world where to fulfil the rights of the child and parents a dual income is needed and anything can happen. Couples should keep in mind what to do if one spouse passes away or something happens.
Yes, anything can happen. We have to prepare, it’s a blessing to be able to prepare or try.
Very well explained.....
The objectified part is so true
لا اله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين ❤

Mashaallah, God bless you all I really like this brilliant discussion.
Women are the most beautiful creation by Allah..I see my my mom, my wife who were always involved in learning and teaching and they have less distractions than men...Dr Haifa is a motherly figure to us...She is from the city of Our Imam Abu Hanifa Nu'man as Sabit, Abu Idrees Ash Shafei and Abu Abdullah Ahmad ibn Hanbal Rahimahumullah and teaching and learning city of thousands of muslim scholars and Awlia...The soil of Baghdad, so fragnant and this lady...May Allah guide us to the beautiful Siratul Mustaqueem....
can I ask you something, what is sufism to you? do u believe in it? generally asking.
@@saffwa. Sufism as an ism not very lovable to me...But if you ask me about the pious Imams from Sayyed Hasan al Basri to Abu Hanifa,Awzai, Az Zuhuri, As Shafei, Ash Shaybani, Abu Yusuf,Abu Abdullah Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, Abdullah Ibnul Mubarak, Fuzail Ibn Ayaz, Maruf Karkhi, Abdul Quader Jilaani, Bishr Al Hafi, Sirr al Saqwati, Junayed Baghdadi Rahimahumullah...They were not only Imams of Tafseer, Fiqh or Hadeeth...They are full of spirituality...The beloved saints and worshippers of Allah...Also did the Jihaad accordingly...
Woww...just woww. Thank u shiekha ma'am.. may allah bless u ..
that was the best....it actually calmed my heart.

In this era of fitnas it’s very difficult to save our Emaan and deen. It’s a dire need to follow our Islam in the best possible way to save from fitnas.
You are doing a great job Dr Haaifa MashAllah 😊❤
I hope you'll see this. if possible, can you please jot down the ayah/ayat from the Quran or Sunnah? I think people would really appreciate that.

The target audience of this video may all in appearances may be towards women, but I believe that all lessons in this video are universally applicable, as these lessons are from Allah Ta'ala, and he designed Islam and His lessons to be universally applicable.
Let this video be shared with others, and let we who hear accept all that is good from this video.
On a different note, Masya Allah, this doctor is amazing in her mindset. I think she is an example to follow, whether woman or man.
