You just breakdown and explaining my years problem in less than 15 min haha. I might come back to this video every once in awhile starting today! Thank you!
It's funny when you're talking about making a mood more and making notes about what's inside you like about the images you picked. this is something I do too and I'm sure a lot of other people do. the thing I do is I have a journal where I print them out and stick them in and make my notes. and I plan to update it as the year goes on I want to collect a few years in the journal so I can see how I have changed over the years.
I think it’s better to practice drawing on paper because you won’t be as perfectionist, and you’ll gain muscle memory (plus it can make some pretty cute sketchbook spreads) and then do more finished works digitally when you want to USE the knowledge you’ve gained. That’s how I do it anyways, everyone has a method that works for them hope this was helpful 😅😊
I couldn't have said this any better! I think it's totally fine to start with either, but having a bit of experience on paper is a good place to start, and a much cheaper way to figure out if it's something you enjoy doing 🤩❤️
900 views in 1 day for a channel with 10k subscribers? youtube is doing lots of its creators real dirty. anyways, this popped in my recommendations so i think it's necessary to point out.

This is super helpful, thank you! If someone has no prior drawing experience, would you suggest starting with digital or paper art?
