- There is nothing so humbling, so awe inspiring and empowering as ascending the Temple Mount on the 9th of Av - the day of the Holy Temple's destruction 1950 years ago. We can mourn the Temple's loss from now to eternity, if that's what we want. But if rebuilding the Holy Temple is our true goal, as well it should be, we need to commemorate the past while boldly facing the future. Rebuilding the Holy Temple begins today!

Those of us from the nations need to go back to the basics and hear the Torah read on every sabbath in synagogues, which was the basis of the council of Jerusalem (Acts15). Thankyou, i had the opportunity to walk with the in the video to the Temple Mount with group and my tears and shared my emotions and what they would have being thinking especially the children. My heart broke down with such an explosive burst of shout with tears when we walked out of the Western Gate looking to the temple building. Similarly, in the Midrash Rabbah, in an explanation of Ruth 2:14:
He is speaking of the King Messiah: "Come hither" draw near to the throne "and dip thy morsel in the vinegar," this refers to the chastisements, as it is said, "But he was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities."
In the same manner also in a later midrash, the Midrash Tanhuma, parasha Toldot, end of section, it says:
"Who art thou, O great mountain?" (Zechariah 4:7) This refers to the King Messiah. And why does he call him the "great mountain?" Because he is greater than the patriarchs, as it is said, "My servant shall be high, and lifted up, and lofty exceedingly." The Servant is not Israel

Were the Jewish people, God forbid, ever cut off out of the land of the living? No! In Jeremiah 31:35-37, God promised that we will exist forever. We are proud that Am Yisrael Chai-"The people of Israel are much alive." Likewise, it is impossible to say that Israel suffered for the transgressions of "my people," which clearly means Isaiah's people. Surely Isaiah's people are not the Gentiles, but the Jews.
Moshe Kohen, a 15th-century rabbi in Spain, explains the section:
This passage, the commentators explain, speaks of the captivity of Israel, although the singular number is used in it throughout. Others have supposed it to mean the just in this present world, who are crushed and oppressed now…but these too, for the same reason, by altering the number, distort the verses from their natural meaning. And then it seemed to me that…having forsaken the knowledge of our Teachers, and inclined "after the stubbornness of their own hearts," and of their own opinion, I am pleased to interpret it, in accordance with the teaching of our Rabbis, of the King Messiah.2

1. The Doctrine of the Trinity states that there is one God who exists simultaneously in three persons. Each is co-equal, co-powerful, and co-eternal with the other. Each person--Father, Son and Holy Spirit--is not the other. Without either there is no God; all comprise the one God.
2. God is One being in Nature, yet Three in Person. “Being” is what makes something “what” it is; “Person” is what makes someone “who” they are. True Christians throughout history have believed this critical doctrine.
The Bible reveals that there is One God (Deut 6:4, Isa 44:6, 1 Corinthians 8:4; Galatians 3:20; 1 Timothy 2:5) and others.
The Trinity consists of three Persons (Genesis 1:1, 26; 3:22; 11:7; Isaiah 6:8, 48:16, 61:1; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14). In Genesis 1:1, the Hebrew plural noun "Elohim" is used. In Genesis 1:26, 3:22, 11:7 and Isaiah 6:8, the plural pronoun for “us” is used. The word "Elohim" and the pronoun “us” are plural forms, definitely referring in the Hebrew language to more than two. While this is not an explicit argument for the Trinity, it does denote the aspect of plurality in God. The Hebrew word for "God," "Elohim," definitely allows for the Trinity.
In Isaiah 48:16 and 61:1, the Son is speaking while making reference to the Father and the Holy Spirit. Compare Isaiah 61:1 to Luke 4:14-19 to see that it is the Son speaking. Matthew 3:16-17 describes the event of Jesus' baptism. Seen in this passage is God the Holy Spirit descending on God the Son while God the Father proclaims His pleasure in the Son. Matthew 28:19 and 2 Corinthians 13:14 are examples of three distinct Persons in the Trinity.
The members of the Trinity are distinguished one from another in various passages. In the Old Testament, “LORD” is distinguished from “Lord” (Genesis 19:24; Hosea 1:4). The LORD has a Son (Psalm 2:7, 12; Proverbs 30:2-4). The Spirit is distinguished from the “LORD” (Numbers 27:18) and from “God” (Psalm 51:10-12). God the Son is distinguished from God the Father (Psalm 45:6-7; Hebrews 1:8-9). In the New Testament, Jesus speaks to the Father about sending a Helper, the Holy Spirit (John 14:16-17). This shows that Jesus did not consider Himself to be the Father or the Holy Spirit. Consider also all the other times in the Gospels where Jesus speaks to the Father. Was He speaking to Himself? No. He spoke to another Person in the Trinity-the Father.
Each member of the Trinity is God.
• The Father is God (John 6:27; Romans 1:7; 1 Peter 1:2).
• The Son is God (John 1:1, 14; Romans 9:5; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 1:8; 1 John 5:20).
• The Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5:3-4; 1 Corinthians 3:16).
There is subordination within the Trinity. Scripture shows that the Holy Spirit is subordinate to the Father and the Son, and the Son is subordinate to the Father. This is an internal relationship and does not deny the deity of any Person of the Trinity. This is simply an area which our finite minds cannot understand concerning the infinite God. Concerning the Son (see Luke 22:42, John 5:36, John 20:21, and 1 John 4:14.) Concerning the Holy Spirit see John 14:16, 14:26, 15:26, 16:7, and especially John 16:13-14.
The individual members of the Trinity have different tasks. The Father is the ultimate source or cause of the universe (1 Corinthians 8:6; Revelation 4:11); divine revelation (Revelation 1:1); salvation (John 3:16-17); and Jesus' human works (John 5:17; 14:10). The Father initiates all of these things.
The Son is the agent through whom the Father does the following works: the creation and maintenance of the universe (1 Corinthians 8:6; John 1:3; Colossians 1:16-17); divine revelation (John 1:1, 16:12-15; Matthew 11:27; Revelation 1:1); and salvation (2 Corinthians 5:19; Matthew 1:21; John 4:42). The Father does all these things through the Son, who functions as His agent.
The Holy Spirit is the means by whom the Father does the following works: creation and maintenance of the universe (Genesis 1:2; Job 26:13; Psalm 104:30); divine revelation (John 16:12-15; Ephesians 3:5; 2 Peter 1:21); salvation (John 3:6; Titus 3:5; 1 Peter 1:2); and Jesus' works (Isaiah 61:1; Acts 10:38). Thus, the Father does all these things by the power of the Holy Spirit.
God is from everlasting to everlasting. Christ was not only before Abraham (John 8:58), but before Adam John 1:1-3), and before any creature was in being, for he is the beginning, the first Cause of the creation of God, (Rev. 3:14). Therefore, as the apostle Paul argues, he must be before all things (Col. 1:15-17).
He is from everlasting; his goings forth in the covenant were of old (Micah 5:2); the elect were chosen in him before the foundation of the world; and had grace given them in him, before that began - all of which suppose his eternal existence. For this reason, he is called Alpha and Omega the first and the last, the beginning and the ending; which is, and was, and is to come; a type of Melchizedek, having neither beginning of days nor end of life (Rev. 1:8; Heb. 7:3).
Omnipresence is another attribute of Deity (Jer. 23:23, 24). Christ, as the Son of God, was in heaven, in the bosom of his Father, and, at the same time as the Son of man, he was here on earth (John 1:18, 3:13), which he could not be if he was not omnipresent. He also could not make good his promises to his ministers, churches, and people to be with them at all times, in all ages, and in all places, wherever they are (Matthew 18:20, 28:20).
The Deity of Christ may be proved from the divine perfections He possesses - "for in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead" (Col. 2:9) - not one perfection of the divine nature excepted. Otherwise it could not be said that all the fullness of Deity was in him. God is necessarily self-existent and independent of any. So it is with. As man and mediator, he has a life given him for himself and others, and lives by the Father. But, as God, he owes his life and being to none - it is not derived from another; he is over all, God blessed for ever.
Failure to believe in the True Trinitarian God revealed in Scripture has eternal consequences. Faith in any other “being” will not save you from damnation. Only those people who have been chosen by God the Father, whose sins were propitiated through the death and resurrection of God the Son, and who have been sealed by the Holy Spirit will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
Our finite, human minds can not comprehend the Tri-une Nature of Almighty God. Instead we apprehend what the Bible clearly teaches, and true Christians have held as fundamental to salvation and faith. We simply bow the knee to this Magnificent, Mighty God.

Recently watched a documentary claiming the Temple was actually in the City of David, not at what is now called the Temple Mount.
Paula Wallace I’m no biblical expert. But the documentary cited other passages from scripture and practical considerations. If I’m remembering correctly it said that the Temple Mount was actually occupied by the Roman Fortress Antonia which housed the Roman X Legion. That would have had to accommodate 10,000 men and so, it said, couldn’t have been as small as it’s depicted on the famous model of the Temple Mount area.
I’m not taking sides. Just relating what it said. It’s very interesting. If anyone knows of any other videos- books addressing the debate please recommend them.

Amen! This universally acknowledged truth will be revealed to the Jewish people once the veil is taken off their eyes. Because as long as the veil remains they cannot see their true Messiah. The veil can and will be removed by Jesus Himself. They will see Him and acknowledge Him to be the true Messiah sent by God the Father to fulfill the Holy Law and to become the only ransom for us all, the lawbreakers, Jewish and non Jewish people alike. Jesus, Yeshua, became a passover lamb, final and ultimate sacrifice for sin. There is no remission of sin without the shedding of blood. Jews know it. They, like the rest of us need the covering of the Redeeming Blood, mercifully provided by the Grace of God in the sacrifice of His Son, to be able to approach the God of Israel. Restarting the slaughter of animals won't do!!! They were given a very specific prophecy regarding the coming Messiah and His sufferings in chapter 53 of the book of Isaiah. Only God Himself is capable of removing the scales from of their eyes that they might see Him and believe. May the Almighty have mercy on them as He had mercy on us.

We lost the Second Temple because of baseless hatred and loshen harah and this person moderating this tour of the temple grounds is speaking loshen harah...it is so shameful.
