Over a year in the making “Following the Messiah” (from producers Craig Dehut and Stuart Peck along with cinematographer Jet Kaiser) is a visually stunning journey that tells the story of Jesus Christ as told through the Bible and its lands.
* During the scene in the wilderness, we recognize that there is a slip of the tongue where our host unintentionally says that Satan “led Jesus in the wilderness” rather than “met Jesus in the wilderness”. God’s word is infallible, but we humbly admit that we are not. As much as we strive to the utmost to present the Bible accurately, you should always defer to God's inspired scriptures above all else!

This is a wonderful walk through history that makes Jesus come alive as we see where he lived and taught.
Today people are so arrogant to think past peoples were ignorant.. To this day we as whole cannot do half what they accomplished.
Just imagine what it must have been like for the Shepard's in that field to see such an amazing site of Angels worshiping Jesus. That had to have been a moment they would always remember.

You are blessed to be walking where Jesus once stood i would love to take my elderly mom there she has suffered 3 battles with cancer and is on her 4th. I believe it would bring her peace and strengthen her faith in the son of the almighty the Alpha and the omega the beginning and the end. This will really help her to accept christ see us humans are the ones who lose faith in what we cannot see but to see and be where he once walked is the most amazing piece of history. I would love to live there.

There was a late preacher, David Pawson, who explains very well in one of his videos this intriguing moment of Jesus’ childhood. 😊
He says that in the Jewish tradition of that day, the boy of 12 has been grown up enough to be counted as a man and to start participating in his father’s business. And that transformation usually happened when presented in the temple during the festival.
So, when Joseph, Mary and Jesus we’re coming to Jerusalem, Jesus was counted still as a boy and was with his mother and the women’s group, which by custom was travelling long before the men; but when, after the feast, they were leaving Jerusalem, he was already considered as a man and supposed to be with his father and the men’s group. (That’s why they didn’t understand that he was missing.)
Instead, He was in the temple, participating in His real Father’s business.
I find this explanation very realistic and trustworthy. 😊

I would add ... Yahusha was said to be astounding the priests within the synagogues when he was twelve - which tells us a consecrated man (defined by Father) is authorised to preach the scripture. These days: Christians have no idea what a man is - because they immediately assume authority to preach the moment they receive the slightest revelation.
Yahusha was responsible with the revelation He received - and understood how to preach effectively.

I love this series 🥰. You go to so many places where Jesus was and you explain everything so clearly - seeing the 1st century boat, meeting one of the men who discovered it, and became a Christian. The boat ride, eating the fish. Too many specific things to mention.

This just occurred to me.. During the flood, it rained for 40 days and 40 nights. And when Jesus was fasting in the wilderness, that was for 40 days and 40 nights. Jesus was/is the 2nd ark, sent to save the world from sin. WOW‼️

While traveling in Israel with a tourist group we visited many important sites. But hurried through because this was a 7day tour and
I missed so much. In this series of videos I am seeing new things in these same locations. Thank you and my our Lord bless your house.
My husband and I co-hosted tours to the Holy Land for many years. We had many repeat travelers-one who will be going on his ninth tour this year. During his third tour, he turned to me and said, I actually know where I am and can tell other people about the place. When one arrives in the Holy Land, I have found that they find it so vastly different than what they imagined that it is hard to get one’s bearings. Before my husband and I started doing tours, it was important enough for us to return to Israel that we saved money monthly so we would be able to afford going every other year. We had to do without some things, but one’s spiritual enrichment can’t be measured in money. If you have the opportunity to go again, plan for a 10-day trip that is solely in Israel. Those who are fortunate enough to go more than once to the Holy Land will see the major sites, but if you have a good tour host, they plan different things each year. My friend who is planning his 9th trip, failed to go one year. It was that year that we went to the area where David killed the giant. The river was dry so we were able to let everyone gather stones for souvenirs if they so desired. That is the only year that we have been able to go to that site and he was bummed that he missed it.
Awww That's the problem with the package deals. You feel rushed it happen to me as well but not there. It's so unfair it's a once in a lifetime moments.... But still you are very fortunate I'm sure you feel.

My best friend was in army during gulf war, if you remember Jordan was our ally then, we had a few. He was on leave and visited every holy site from Jordan side and took pictures, when he came home and showed me i was blown away at the access the Jordans gave him, as dressed in military uniforms and gear, he literally could have free reign over the most delicate sites. His pics proved this and even climbing petra walls it was little restrictions because of war time.

@@appianmedia Grammatically the phrase "calling on his name" precedes "rise and be baptized". Salvation comes from calling on the name of the Lord (Romans 10:9-10,13), not from being baptized.

As far as your preferred sentence structure, you’ll have to take that up with the Author. Acts 2:38, I Pet. 3:21, Mark 16:16, Gal. 3:27, Rom. 6:1-4 and many other passages are helpful to this discussion.

I thought of Gideon who through fear was using a wine press as a threshing floor, and Ruth went to Boaz while he was at the threshing floor, many other mentions.
