Finally a video that actually shows what I’m trying to reach for ! I’ve been trying to get the bulb out from the top of the engine but couldn’t see what I was fumbling with. The old bulb does not want to twist out. It’s like it’s glued in ! I have small hands but I haven’t been able to twist out the bulb. So I’m going to try with some thin disposable gloves so I have some grip. If that does not work I’m going to have to go in from the wheel area.
i had to watch a vid to change this years ago. Thought I saved it, but I can't find it, but I got yours doing the same thing. Turning the tire into the car helps, having big hands does not! I don't know why they don't make it so you just take the housing off to change bulbs!
Why do I HATE working on my 2013 Chrysler 200? Because it is a complete pain in the ass. Why do I do simple work on my 2013 Chrysler 200? Because it saves me $$$$$$ from having someone else do it. It's time to change from my winter snow tires and wheels to my summer wheels with brand new tires. Gotta check and replace the brake pads and rotors as needed at the same time time. What I am dreading the most is that I have a fog light out so I am going to change both headlights and fog lights at the same time. I replaced my battery 2 years ago before it went bad because your battery NEVER goes bad at a convenient time and it is a huge headache to get to. HUGE TIP!!- buy a set of new body clips that come with a tool to pull them for the inner liner of the fender wall. For about $10 you can have 50 new clips and a tool to remove them. Toss out the clips you removed and replace them with new ones.
🤔 I'm struggling to understand how this would cause your car not to start? Is it still not starting? If yes, does it turn over? Does it do nothing at all?
I have one of this cars, and it I would found out earlier, about the battery location, I would not have bought it. Litteraly, taking the battery out is a pain, but what engineer designed that? Obviously, they forgot the battery, and said " let's put it in the fender, forward of the left front wheel. Stupid.
@@javacup912 🤣 it certainly seems like the battery was an afterthought. And it's crazy because most cars have easily accessible batteries. Heck some even put them in the trunk if there's not room in the engine bay.
@@MaqsVids Actually, I am working on moving the battery to the trunk. It's nearly imossible to service the battery in the current location. Not surprisingly, the battery was moved for the 2014 model. Duh!
Biggest pain in the ass, this car is!! Placing battery behind bumper clip!! Tried removing inner fender to access the head light bulb, couldn't turn the old bulb. I got a T30 torx and removed them to remove the whole headlight subassemble to get to the bulb.😠😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬👎

I opened the fuse box and removed 4 screws, moved it out of the way. Changed the bulb.
Much simpler!
I'm going to have to try this. This sounds much easier, thanks!
What about the other side the the reservoir in the way
this car is driving me nuts, gotta go to college to change the damn headlight!!
🤣 my girlfriend just got one and damn you have to take apart damn near the whole car to change the lightbulbs

BEYOND...A PAIN...STRAIGHT STUPID
Dude wtf! Thanks for this video 👏 Now I know what I have to look forward to tomorrow morning 😆 Excellent camera placement btw
Thank u. I watched your video and u helped me so much more then me asking my procrastination roommate. So thank u sir
You are very welcome 👍
what a pain. Your way is simpler but really tight space to get your hands. Newer cars are a real challenge to do anything
How did you manage to move the wires around for the driver side? On kine the wires are solid and cannot move
Can I do it this way on my 2014? Other video I watched has the guy taking the front bumper off to get to them 🤦
You should be able to. 👍It is easy enough to check. Taking the bumper off would be a bummer.
Great vid
Really GOOD walk-through. I appreciate your efforts.
What was the size of bulb ?
9012
🤔Ask the person behind counter.🤷
Thank you! You're video was VERY helpful!
Thanks for the info, much appreciated.
Appreciate this my boy
Friend, do you know what is the way to repair a burned DRL?

Fucking Chrysler. My 2014 Grand Cherokee was difficult as well!!!!
Man!! I was helping a co-worker on my lunch break. I was like "this will be real quick". I was so wrong.
You right, today I have to change my light bulb and it is hell.
With my tiny hands and a pair of angles needle nose pliers... I managed to get it out without taking anything else apart
I'm so jealous!!
Thanks you man
You are very welcome!!!
@@MaqsVids first car I had that’s so dang difficult to change out some headlights man
My 24 year old daughter was able to do it with her very small hands 😅
Easy my ass
