اگر غزالہ کو یہ تیرا ناز مِلے تو کیسا ہو
اگر شگُوفوں کو تیرا انداز مِلے تو کیسا ہو
अगर ग़ज़ाला को ये तेरा नाज़ मिले तो कैसा हो ।
अगर शगूफ़ों को तेरा अन्दाज़ मिले तो कैसा हो ।
If the Doe obtains your grace then how would it be ?
If the Buds acquire your style then how would it be ?
مُحبت میں اگر فرِشتوں کی کوئی توفیق لگے
مُمکن ہے کہ ہمکو پِھر یہ فلک بُہت نزدیک لگے
ابر ہمیں نیچے سے دیکھیں ، خُوش ہوکر آداب کہیں؛
اگر تصور کو اتنی پرواز مِلے تو کیسا ہو
मोहब्बत में अगर फ़रिश्तों की कोई तौफ़ीक़ लगे ।
मुमक़िन है कि हमको फिर ये फ़लक बहुत नज़्दीक़ लगे ।
अब्र हमें नीचे से देखें ; ख़ुश होकर आदाब कहें ;
अगर तसव्वुर को इतनी पर्वाज़ मिले तो कैसा हो ।
If in love; the angels manifest some ability,
It is possible then that sky appears very close to me, the clouds look at me from beneath & greets in happiness. If my thoughts get to fly that high then how would it be ?
ابھی خیالوں میں بھی جو یُوں ہوش اُڑا لے جاتے ہیں
شوخ ادا سے کیسے وہ خاموش اُڑا لے جاتے ہیں
میں یہ بات تصور کر کے ہی حیراں ہو جاتا ہُوں
کہ رُوبرو اگر خوابوں کی مُمتاز مِلے تو کیسا ہو
अभी ख़्यालों में भी जो यूँ होश उड़ा ले जाते हैं ।
शोख़ अदा से कैसे वो ख़ामोश उड़ा ले जाते हैं ।
मैं यह बात तसव्वुर करके ही हैरां हो जाता हूँ कि
रु-ब-रु अगर ख़्वाबों की मुमताज़ मिले तो कैसा हो ।
Now even in the thoughts; the one who blow away my senses and that too adhering to their playful ways silently. When I even imagine about it I am left awestruck so thinking If in person, I get to meet the queen of my dreams, then how would it be ?
تُم جب بے پرواہی میں ہلکے سے بھی کُچھ گاتی ہو
باتیں بھی افسانوں جیسی عالم یُوں مِہکاتی ہو
جِسکو سُنکے ہر دِل ایک مُسرت حاصل کرتا ہے
کوئیل کو گر تیری یہ آواز مِلے تو کیسا ہو
तुम जब बेपरवाई में हल्क़े से भी कुछ गाती हो ।
बातें भी अफ़्सानों जैसी अ़ालम यूँ महकाती हो ।
जिसको सुनके हर-दिल एक मसर्रत हासिल करता है,
कोयल को गर ये तेरी आवाज़ मिले तो कैसा हो ।
When you sing casually in the slight pretext ,
Even your talks sounds like songs & spreads the aroma all around ! To whom when every heart listens;
it blossoms with happiness,If the cuckoo bird gets your voice; then how would it be ?
خُوب ترنم چھیڑے اور جو نغموں کا ہمسفر بنے
اُلفت کی اِس جنگ و مِحفل میں عاشِق کا ظفر بنے
اُسکی نظموں اور طرزوں کو دِلآویز بنا دے جو
گر سرتاج کو ایسا کوئی ساز مِلے تو کیسا ہو
ख़ूब तरन्नुम छेड़े और जो नग़्मों का हमसफ़र बने ।
उल्फ़त की इस जंग-ओ-महफ़िल में आशिक़ का ज़फ़र बने ।
उसकी नज़्मों और तर्ज़ों को दिल-आवेज़ बना दे जो ;
‘गर सरताज को ऐसा कोई साज़ मिले तो कैसा हो ।
The one that immensely strikes the tune and becomes a companion of the melody ,
In this beautiful war like situation of love, the one who becomes a victory for the lover.
