Well today is one of those games, BUT that doesn't mean all is lost.
Watch as I try to save Endsieg 1945 in Hearts of Iron 4 Multiplayer and cause tons of casualties to the enemy team.

So Italy killed UK fleet at some point, how were they able to dday this actively? Did Japan just lose to US really early? I feel like some context is missing. Very well played and a very good game from both sides though.

no in the end you can see japan owns india and all the other stuff so no clue what realy happened here
am guessing Japan wasn't aggressive enough
USA ignored asia and went dday day 1 of barb basically, we couldnt get the italian fleet out of the med so they could dday constantly

dankus didnt take one specific tile in denmark, which allowed us to retreat 80% of our troops back to uk 😂

@@bavo981 We (the USA) lost maybe 10 divisions while retreating and perhaps 20 divisions snaking the shit out of the Axis minors.

Only thing that could have given the Axis better chance was if Japan did a more active role like sending their navy to Atlantic, or navel invading the Pacific Commonwealth Members. It just seems that one of the Axis Majors didn't pull their weight in this.
So let me clear up some things alright.
Japan is not a carrier nation. And he did win the Pacific. He did neuter Australia and he capped the Raj in the end.
He gave the axis a 15% stat buff vs the Allies and the Allies a 15% debuff against the Axis (a grand total of 30% stats)
So dont pin this on just Japan.
Something you need to note is that Inf1nite (Italy) only barely noticed our final dday and by then we (USA main here) had already killed 30 of his divisions in (South) France.
@@tristanheijkoop1554taking the raj should be the bare minimum for a decent Japan. Buffs or not his navy should’ve been in the Atlantic

The timeline:
i played soviet game like two days ago, and it was kinda similar lost 10 tanks in the first 2 years and only killed like 3 german tanks, but then the allies did dday even though they died kinda fast, I was able to kill 12 german tanks while the germany player was busy and ended up winning

hmm at the end you can see that at last Dday he had left 20 inf from 67 of original number. i think if he had keeped this number up they could secure dday or atleast slow it down.

POW at last! no need to be excessively genocidal or anything roleplayheavy like that, but damn it was needed. looks quite good, that you can choose to use them differently to varying degrees and thereby both be more roleplay and more strategically about it as they are an important and natural ressource. even for the good guy roleplayer.
even the "bad guys" in history used them to produce stuff and would only begin wasting and be excessively cruel with them when their reassources ran too low for their own population and or they were retreating fast.

Hi guys, may I ask which version of Endsiege are you playing in MP? because we tried with v. 1.12.12 of the game on Endsiege:Ultimate Victory but the game crashes as soon as we press Start in the scenarios from 42 onwards. we have tried all versions ,including the current one ,but it doesn't work for us. we are desperate :(
it isnt a endsieg mod... its a multiplayer game which the editor called endsieg because of how they came back so hard but still lost

@@illican dont you think that its ridiculous that after a completely disatrtous africa campaign. d-day, 10 million casualties, no support of ussr they are able to launch another massive successful d-day and be able to hold against japan without usa. just take a look at canada that lost like 20 tanks throughout the whole video

It's crazy how anti-Soviet the game is. Its almost like the mod designers realised that the only way hoi4 really works is if Germany is able to continuously push the soviets while allies actually have to kill germany, otherwise the eastern front stalemates into a soviet victory via steamroller. yeah it might be "allies favoured", but the alternative is boring as hell.
@illican its not base hoi4 nor is it a history textbook. Its supposed to be competitive and balanced. Its better to have a good mod without historical accuracy than a bad mod thats 100% accurate. Its not fun if every hoi4 comp game plays out historically exactly like ww2.

In competitive matches Sea Lion is allowed.
In the ruleset used in the game.
Sealion is allowed when Gibraltar or Cairo is taken. Italy couldnt leave the med because he never took Gibraltar or both sides of the Red Sea strait

@@memesthememer766 because sea lion is incredibly risky. If you lose, you lose big time and it can pull the US in way sooner. It’s usually not worth the risk.

I dont get why the soviets didnt do anything while the allies where giving it all
Soviets were kinda screwed for equipment after some of the early encirclements, and for fuel as well after they lost Baku. Even so, they apparently kept trying to snake every time the Axis pulled troops away from the East to deal with D-Day. They just didn't have much success and there wasn't much reason for the video to look that way for failed Soviet snake #22. Also: it was a pretty damn short, if incredibly busy, game for an Endsieg. Barbarossa started 41 and GG was called in 43, which left the Soviets little time to properly get their late-game industry and tank steamroller going after suffering the initial losses of 41.
@martenkahr3365 tbf Soviets are kinda screwed in the meta rn. Surviving a year is considered good iirc, just because if the soviets are ever able to hold, Germany can just never win, so you have to have a position where Germany is always pushing the soviets while the allies actually do the work to kill Germany like in this game.
For reference, soviets have like 30% more efficiency cap on factories (or so), and you can get maybe 230 mils by barb in vanilla, but mainland Europe has about 500-600 or more factories. Cap is a stat that's slow to get to maximum, so soviets can reach the equiv of 500 or so factories by 44 and steamroll if they hold, but it's a bit irrelevant, because Germany just dumpsters the soviets in 41. Not sure how this mod changes that, but the soviet's job isn't to win anymore, it's just to not die because mainland europe is just so much stronger.

This looks slightly different from Their finest bruh, if the game isn't decided in late 42 it seems America can just sweep in with insane industry and break the most stalwart DDay wall with enough strat bombers or amtracks/amtanks.
Whereas in TFB there is significantly less emphasis on a super strong axis in the early game, this allows for more varied playstyles and general wackiness to keep the twitch viewers entertained. Not that there is anything wrong with bizarre games, I can enjoy both those and the most cracked dankus micro.

@Drvol1 The Allied dday invasion escaped most their forces through a tile Dankus forgot in Denmark. Also the US let the Pacific, India and Australia die to Japan and a 30% stat debuff to put his fleet in the Atlantic to replace the UK.
Italy didn't notice the second DDay and lost 30 divisions in Southern France before responding. The loss was a combination of Axis mistakes and Allies successfully pulling off a high-risk high-reward strategy and barely escaping alive from their first failure.
