Really curious about the 8700 Black box running multiple screens. I cant find anything that explains how this works as I see only two HDMI ports. Do you have any details on this?
I’m 90 percent sure I’m getting ready to a a 8612 paired with a 22inch battleship!! I have some G3N Helix’s and smaller garmin as of now and not sure how my “exact” set up will be other that 22inch of love up front and the 12 garmin at the dash . May leave my older garmin 93SV with em and or hummingbird helix g3n 10s , do like there mapping . Only thing I’m truly worried about is how to get it mounted for good rides being heavy at 22inches ..that’s my main concern . Thank you for the video!! I know it’s going to cost me but I look at it in if ima do it I might as well get it set up right and not have to keep updating . I’ve worked my dang butt off for this stuff and livescope 34 ..the 8700 black box I need to learn more about as well. This helped . I want to Get this professional done this winter (before January ). Can I display both forward and perspective images on the same NBT screen at the same time? (Assuming I have two transducers). Can the 8612 handle the update rates for both with no problem? My thought is to have the forward on a separate turret and the perspective on the trolling motor or perhaps both on the turret as well (like a Rite Hite).
YES IT CAN!!! 2 network cables to the back on the 8612 for both black box/live scopes and your rockin and rolling!! No issues with software or screen update

I have a 4 unit setup. 2 12” echomap ultras on bow and 2 - 10“ EM ultras on helm. One gls 10 box for livescope. I want to move the 2- 12” to helm and end up w 1- new 8612 on bow w 1- nbt 22” battleship. I would like to be able to use the new 8612 on bow to display other selection than the nbt unit. I would use the nbt unit for livescope alone. Would I need to get the 8700 black box unit along w new black box gls10 or can the livescope signal from the gls 10 be split without loosing signal strength from my lvs34 ? Or do I really need a new 8612 on front if I go w 8700 box unit. Thanks in advance !
Just ordered my nbt and 8612. If I use both units up front and screen share how would I be able to view 2 livescopes at one time? I was under the impression that the nbt could only duplicate exactly what's on the garmin screen.
If you were wanting to go to the box route, you will need the 8700 black box to run sonar and live scope. The GLS 10 black box is just the computer for live scope.
@Doubleh.precisionfishing you say it can mirror a lowrance live unit? But what do mean by the "simrad networking box "? Is that a NEP-2 NETWORKING BOX or?? Because they run ethernet connections to link units up

Will this work for active target and a HDS 12
To run active target 1 or 2 you have to run the Simrad networking box. Lowrance owns them and they are all compatible
