Hey man, I´m gonna drop this comment just to say how much I apreciate your videos and what you are doing. Honestly, your videos are so hepful and really brings hope to the godot community. Please, keep on doing it and thank you so much Lukky
Yoooo ever since I watched the guy who explains every modifier in blender I wanted to watch the same thing for godot nodes. Thanks man I am really glad youtube recommended me your channel
Sir, how dare you make such an exquisite tutorial? Are you trying to get me to subscribe? Well, jokes on you because I'm already subscribed! hehe, great stuff Lukky, keep'em coming :)
1 question about the area3d. When you shower the manipulation of gravity inside the area, how did you do it? Take all the colliding bodies and change their gravity? Thanks!
Recently found your channel and your videos are great! I followed your 3rd person camera tutorial and I really liked the final result, now I'm trying to add a gun to the character model, but I have no idea where to start. I read somewhere that I could use Armature/BoneAttachment, is this the correct direction?
Yes, add a BoneAttachment to the Skeleton3D node, and link it to the hand bone. Then put the weapon as a child to the BoneAttachment, this is how it's done.
Hm I wonder how performant it would be to use decals for shadows? You could bake a shadow for each frame of an animation, throw it in a big sprite sheet and use it in a decal, it might take up more memory but it might also be faster to render than having to calculate shadows from lights

Yeah. Sometimes when I sub and enable the bell it doesn't save. I learned to refresh the page every time I subscribe to make sure it was saved correctly. It happened way too many times to subscribe to a channel and then not finding it anymore in the subscribed channel list.
The Full Coverage of all nodes is gonna take me about a month at that point i will upload all chapters as one big video covering every node in one go!
😮 you're wild, but this is kind of amazing! Good luck! 😊

No the area3d has a build on gravity parameter it basicly does what you discribe!
Very cool! do it for 2D and Controls and then an Episode for custom nodes and their opportunities
