Curious about the ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL. I don’t see the buttons but I noticed it had the radar. I have a 2020 x3 with ACC and it’s on the buttons on the steering wheel
What happens if you are driving at 85mph hands free and road works suddenly start with narrowed properly unmarked or marked different colour/pattern temporary lanes?
One thing I just found out is that you can save the passenger seat settings by using the #2 button on the driver's door. After the passenger gets their seat set, press the #2 button and then press the Seat setting save button, either 1 or 2. Also noticed that we lost the latch to release the rear seat backs. You used to be able to easily flip the lever on either side back in the very back of the cargo area if you wanted to put large items in the cargo area. Now you have to release them on the seat back.
I don't see any adaptive cruise control indicators on the steering wheel so I won't be getting this the Lexus RX has it in easy plain view on the steering

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by route list. BMW will provide you with alternate routes and a route preview. Not sure what else could be needed.
They're moving to the doors on some cars. iX and 7 series for example. They're easy enough to reach when on the side of the seat though, that's where seat controls on cars have been for decades.
Please more in dept on the paddle shifts. Nice Longines automatic watch. The man has good taste (43mm)?. Fantastic explanations. My wife just got the 2025 last month. May 3rd. I HATE that BMW is remove so many buttons in their vehicles. I’m looking for a 2023 x5m and if I can’t find one with the color combo I want, I’m buying a different brand altogether.
Oh no, I hate the climate control on this new screen. I have the 2023 X1, love everything except the vent setting. BMW only made a few intervals: very low, low, medium, high, max. The problem is, the range for each setting is too wide for me. Example, very low is almost non existent, but low is a bit too hard. Not even medium. So almost like no middle ground. With radio button, you can have smaller intervals. Not with this new system. Is 2024 X3 already like this? I was planning of getting a bigger SUV like X3 or X5. Seems like I won't be getting X5 for this problem.
What about the watch?? iPhone 4 (four) in 2010?? You should go to the neurologist, ask him if he can help you find the only neuron you had and that now seems to be lost.
Think I went to BMW Genius school with this fella. But BMW really botched the interior on this one. BMW: You don’t need buttons… use the screen. Wait until they do a new chassis code. No buttons at all soon. You can just tell the iDrive to roll up your windows soon. Haha
@@bmwofmorristown9038 it’s a sneaky way to save costs and make you go through a screen. An entry level camera makes you go through a menu to change settings. A pro level camera has fast access to soar settings with buttons. I know cameras aren’t cars, but the buttons were even highlighted on delivery. Hey client, you can program your TPMS or numerous areas of iDrive to be one button away.
BMW really messed up on this model! The interior took a decline! The ambient lighting has decreased! They took away the led strip and the contrast strip! Also removed the led from the back of the seats! Such a very bad move!
I don't agree that the LCI took the X5 in the wrong direction in any way, but if you do feel like those minor changes are downgrades, the vast improvements in other areas more should more than make up for it.
As a current BMW driver I have to agree! I’m in a 21 Ametrin Metallic x5 MSport and the options I have now you can only get in the new 24 Comp. ! It’s very sad that BMW choose to raise the price but at the same time provide less options for that raised price! Truthfully on Reddit most hate the new 24 x5 especially how boxy it looks and are comparing it to a Kia ! They also removed most of the front ambient lighting for just a 15 inch x x x x x 5 color strip! Also have to use the infotainment for climate which is just plan annoying! Looks like I’ll be staying in my 21 x5 !

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by route list. BMW will provide you with alternate routes and a route preview. Not sure what else could be needed.
@@bmwofmorristown9038 meant a detailed route with street names and distance as you would see in a Google maps
wow the underside of the trunk is seriously different in europe, heh
Simply Super and very helpful. Thank You!
You're welcome, glad you enjoyed!
BMW should make seat controls like Merc. I don’t know bmw puts the control where they are awkward to reach.
They're moving to the doors on some cars. iX and 7 series for example. They're easy enough to reach when on the side of the seat though, that's where seat controls on cars have been for decades.
❤THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING THIS VIDEO. It saves a lot of my time to read the drivers manual. Appreciated for your efforts! 😊
Can't wait for mine! Great video
Thank you, glad you enjoyed! Enjoy your X5 when you get it, they're great!
Where are the buttons for the full spread phasers & the photon torpedoes ??🤣😂🤣😂
Hopefully next time you will also have the climate buttons to explain 😂
“For your donuts and drifting needs in your X5” 😂😂😂
You never know :)
Please more in dept on the paddle shifts. Nice Longines automatic watch. The man has good taste (43mm)?.
Fantastic explanations. My wife just got the 2025 last month. May 3rd. A much contrast from her 2021 model driving wise. This 2025 model feels lighter and fluid and sharp acceleration. Please subscribe the speed camera detections. It will save you a lot of $$. Because this X5 is too quick and quiet 😃😃.
Yeah, I'd definitely want one!
You're not alone :)
the 2023 model is less complicated than that tricky big screen!
We've actually found that many people find ID8 (the newer curved display) easier to use than the previous system, at least once you're used to it. A bit more intuitive and easier to navigate.
@@bmwofmorristown9038 but air conditioner controls inside the display. Shameful!
Just picked my 2024 BMW X5 with Enhanced package and my beeping (acoustic) sound doesn’t work when unlocking/locking door.
That's a setting! Go to doors/windows, you'll see the setting in there. "Sound when locking/unlocking"
@@bmwofmorristown9038 yup, have it on. Still doesn’t work !
Don't loose the buttons...I hate the iPad look
This is the way things are moving... for now at least. It's a change, but easy to get used to, and everything works really well once you learn it!
Very detailed video, Good work. Although a better phone or recording equipment would have done a world of good to the already good presentation !
Thank you, glad you found it useful. I appreciate the feedback and suggestion, noted!
Sadly the air vents do not work the way they should,. Sit in the car, blow the air straight on ur face , tell me if it blows,. Do it in a normal car, or model 3, n y know how BMW has designed these vents !!
We've found that they work quite well... perhaps the car you were in was not working properly, or you didn't have it adjusted correctly.
@@bmwofmorristown9038 lol, so you are sure the air vents will blow the air to your face ?? Not when you put your face near to the vents but when you are in a regular seating position in the drivers seat??
Lots of reflections on the screen.
I try to avoid that as best as I can but it's difficult sometimes, but thanks for the feedback.
Referring to the car’s dashboard/ media center not the camera man. You did great!
I HATE that BMW is remove so many buttons in their vehicles. I’m looking for a 2023 x5m and if I can’t find one with the color combo I want, I’m buying a different brand altogether.
Wish it was that easy lol there’s a problem… If you like and want X5 there’s nothing else like it out there
Oh no, I hate the climate control on this new screen.
Iphone 4 That is from 2010. They need to pay you better!
What about the watch??
iPhone 4 (four) in 2010??
You should go to the neurologist, ask him if he can help you find the only neuron you had and that now seems to be lost.
Hii
Think I went to BMW Genius school with this fella. But BMW really botched the interior on this one. BMW: You don’t need buttons… use the screen.
Wait until they do a new chassis code. No buttons at all soon. You can just tell the iDrive to roll up your windows soon. Haha
May be! I was there not too long ago :) To each their own but I've become a big fan of the newest interiors on X5 and X7.
Benz win
Do they really tho...
