Have a question. Some say that there should be some space between back of thumb of trigger hand and tip of shooter's nose, but the top skeet shooter @ our club has his thumb almost behind and to the right of his nose. Similar to the A400 for you here. He's AAA class and his stock was professionally fit by Kolar, none-the-less. I've also heard that the butt-stock placement in crease of elbow joint to get proper LoP is not correct either. What's your take on these basic gun fit theories? Cheers.
Gun fit is very personal. Some shooters like a long length of pull and others a short one. I have shooters mount their gun with their eyes closed. Then make the gun feel comfortable. I will then check to see where their eye is over the rib. Then look at the length of pull. If it’s not crazy long or short I watch them shoot. I will then suggest what should be done. It’s about comfort and confidence.
I have a Beretta 686 Special game gun and a Benelli semi-auto for wildfowling. Both great guns!
I agree! Those are great guns.
This is the weapon Tim Walz failed to load and cock properly. Dean does it so effortlessly and Timmy kcuffed it up.
It’s still a light recoil gun even though it doesn’t have the kick off option?
I totally agree with you! The A400 is by far my favorite auto.
