Been shooting this same A400 off and on for a year now. It is a smooth shooter. Only headache is a high pitch spring sound when it cycles. I wish I know how to dampen that sound. Get the gas block cleaning tool kit if you buy one. It makes clean the cylinder and gas holes much easier.
Same, the clanging spring sound with each shot drives me nuts. The worst part is that nobody hears it except the shooter...

I own a (blue) 1301 Comp Pro and other than the 24in barrel it always impressed me as the same gun, materials aside. Still, I find most ranges don’t care much for me bringing the semi-auto. I’ve done well enough with it for clay sports but an O/U is on the way. Thanks for the review.
I bought a Beretta A400 Upland in 20 gage a few months ago. I fell in love with it when I saw it but there was not one for me to try at the gun shop. The gun does not fit me well at all, in fact it sucks !! I like to shoot skeet and trap don't know if there is a cure or do I need to sell it and maybe buy a Silver Pigeon or something else. Thoughts?
Without seeing you in person for an actual fitting is nearly impossible to determine why it does not fit. But with shims adjusted it can be very close to the silver pigeon dimensions.

Cycles gamebore 7/8 oz white golds just fine.
Not a great gun by any means. Kicks more than my Cynergy by far . Quality control is poor and I had to send my new gun back due to flaws in the wood.
