installed my Pulsar LT last week on my 2020 GMC Sierra AT4 5.3 and WOW. definitely wont go back to stock it is amazing... i love all 7 features but mostly the DFM deactivation, throttle response and Auto stop deactivation. these are the big 3... you won't be disappointed.
I got one in my 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 (6.2L)...and love it. No more Auto start/stop, no more DFM/AFM nonsense, throttle sensitivity, and more. Worth the money IMHO. Gotta love smokey burnouts!
First off, big props to you! I probably wouldn’t have gotten one of these if not for your video a few months back. I love my pulsar LT and honestly have contemplated getting a 2nd one just to have if my wife ever trades in her car for a trailboss/at4. I only have the 5.3 1500 as of now and I am glad I have this. I drove mine around bone stock for a couple months and hated the tediousness or remembering to turn off auto stop/start every single time I got in to drive 2 mins or 20 mins. The best thing for me is the throttle sensitivity mod, my v8 has been awoken from a coma it should’ve never been put in and I love it. Keep up the good work!
I installed the same Pulsar for my 2020 Trail Boss with the 6.2. I absolutely love it. I have had it for about 5,000 miles and it works perfect. No more Dynamic Fuel shutting off cylinders, and no more having to turn off the stupid auto start/stop feature. I run the throttle sensitivity at 3... Perfect...
@@ShelbyForbes-oe6wu I now have just about 31,000 miles on my Trail Boss. No issues at all. Still love it. Crack up anytime I hear a truck without it go by with a V8. They sound like a helicopter. I still recommend it for anyone with the annoying dynamic fuel crap and having to turn the auto start button every start up. You can now get in, start up, and drive normally.
Yep, my 2021TB with 6k miles lifter’s failed and left me stranded 209 miles from my home. Dealer had it for 6 weeks due to back order parts and GM’s customer service dept is horrible. So much for customer loyalty
@sschevmale24 My 2010 Denali with 190k just started ticking noticeably, $2,300 later and now I don't have the garbage AFM or a governor anymore. 6.2 ftw!
Picking up my 2023 ltd premium tech pack in a few weeks and I’ve been trying to find some decent reviews on this tuner. Thanks mate will definitely be purchasing one now
I have the exact same setup as him, same CAI and the Pulsar LT and I love it! I have the RST with the 6.2L and let me tell you, the thing rips!! It’s sitting right around 440 hp currently and it’s very noticeable compared to my old F150 5.0L!!
Hey there… just brought the 2020 5.3L Trail Boss, I have, home from a Cylinder 1 Repair/rebuild. Covered under factory warranty. Have a bit over 12,500 miles. Service tech suggested a DFM delete plugin…and said to remove before any warranty service.
This thing has absolutely transformed my 6.2. It is like a completely different vehicle. Now I turned up the throttle response to 65% and I had to turn it down because I couldn’t keep the tires from spinning.
@@chowder271 yea. Make sure your cruise control is turned off. Pushing cruise cancel does not turn off your cruise control. I couldn’t get it to work the other day and it took me a minute to figure out.
This along with the Cold Air Induction intake are going to be the first upgrades to my 2020 trail boss. I absolutely LOVE my truck but she needs more pep in her step so thank you for the full walkthrough on both of these products!
One thing I noticed is you have the sunroof option. I think GM should have a class action against them for the 2019 and up trucks with sunroof and power sliding rear window. If you have both, the body flexes enough while cornering that over time the frame for the power slider cracks at the top. You can't see it from the outside, but it then begins leaking into the cab. The fix at that point is to drop your headliner and remove the piece that has the third brake light in it and use a good flexible sealant to repair the crack.
That’s so toxic. They have test to check flex and torsion. They have programs to simulate it even before production. They basically said ‘meh fuck it’ just like the transmission issues. Well, I guess you could always get a custom roll cage made to stiffen it all up.
@@GabrielTheGuitarist I’ve never had a transmission issue with a gm or Chevy truck. Ive put nearly 400,000 miles on every one of them I’ve owned, and while I’m really good at periodic maintenance I abuse my trucks on and off road.

So ....🤔with the wheel and tire size adjustment that means that you can clock a lower odometer reading if you're rolling on bigger wheels and enter a lower wheel/tire size?
I couldn’t image one a more sensitive throttle. My 20 6.2 Denali is very touchy. I can understand most of these features but I'm not sure why you would want to deactivate dfm? The motor is actually working exactly the same. dfm just stops fueling the cylinders it doesn't need. Saving you fuel. You would rather feed all the cylinders unnecessarily?
Do you know if the pulsar Lt can recognize a cold air intake and a cat back exhaust? I'm assuming it can't but I'm seeing guys run it with those two mods and It looks like they are on par with the guys who are using superchips and diablo! Do you keep yours in sport mode??
How’s the pulsar react if a problem arises? Example I had a PC for my Ram and if something messed up or I switched modes to quickly I got “dead pedal” so I had zero pedal response. Will this jump back to the stock pedal?
I don’t understand how you just want the dfm just because it sound better, if it would be me it for the valve lifters to last longer to have my motor last longer as possible
I'm not seeing one for a 2015 5.3, have you seen one?
What mods are you using besides the Pulsar LT?
Can I do that on my 2015 silverado
For some reason I always have to turn up my speed limiter after I power down each time. Do you have the same problem?
Cool seat covers
is the 0-60 the same?
