man, the heartscape soundtracks are great and i like that they incorporated "Blue Reflection" into almost all of the soundtrack without making it sound redundant but i kinda miss the ost for the boss phases they had in the first game, it's what made me check out the franchise after all
I know what you mean. It really brought out the progression of the fight. The music in second light was good but it just didn't carry that weight that the four bosses had in the first one. The music are what made those bosses feel daunting and powerful.
Not gonna lie i give up like 5 times, but every time the girls come out with their suppoert and i just barely manage to defeat the final boss. As usual the final bosses are top tier encounters!
Really? I thought the boss was surprisingly easy, tho I didn't have any food but the support just made it impossible for me to lose. I even lost my combo twice during the battle.
I just finished the game a week ago and I must say, the game is better in many ways compared to the first game, but what motivated me to keep playing the first game until the end was gone in the second game, that was the good boss battles and the bgm accompanying it. This game has no actual unique boss fight except the final boss, you will encounter them again as an elite enemies with only stat differences. Don't get me wrong, the game is still good just like I said before, it has more story to it and the transition between scene isn't choppy like the first game. It's just that, I kinda disappointed with how lacking the fights were. Though I also didn't really like that they made the first anime series a story canon in here lol. Here I am hoping for DX remaster for the first game, just like what they did to their older atelier games.
@Shion is my Waifu that is only one of many aspects the game has to offer, and there's only like 4 types of dungeon in the first game (plus the combinations but you still see the same thing over and over again), atleast there's more variations in this game even though I never really pay any attention to it, but I know the dev put more effort to it compared to the first game. I know this is only your take on it, but saying that this game is inferior to the first game is a really bold claim just like the game is worse than the first
@Shion is my Waifu not really, I'm not saying that it's bad if you say x game is inferior or outright bad, I just want to know why you think so, especially when you think most of the thing the game can offer is inferior to the first game. But, sure if you don't want to carry on
The biggest thing I noticed that I didn't like was the size of the bosses. Like sure, the heartscape bosses are somewhat big, but the bosses from the first game were MASSIVE. And then when the Crack had shattered and that boss showed up, I was thinking "oh HERE we go. Here's out massive boss fight." But then the combat begins, and it's the same size as the normal heartscape bosses!!!
@@adhiyaksaoktav497 if I'm too understand the plot of "Second Light," it really wouldn't make sense to have Kokoro, Hiori, Mio, Uta, Yuzu and Lime in the game, all appeared in "Ray". The construction ingame jumps off as Kokoro->Shiho; Shiho->Hinako and Kirara; Kirara->Hiori and Mio; Hiori->Uta. Yuzu and Lime are defenders of the Common in "Ray" and, seeing as the world was resetting itself due to Hinako using her Reflector powers to defeat a deity who was going to merge humanity into one being, had no choice but to create Oasis, but for them to have the power to play Goddesses, they needed to use any Reflectors' power they could get, so Yuzu and Lime had to be in game. Kokoro is in game to help Ao, the main character, along with Rena and Yuki. Shiho brings Kirara in game and Kirara brings Hiori and Mio in the game, and Hiori brings Uta in game. It wouldn't be surprising that there's still unresolved tensions with those three cross over from "Ray" to "Second Light," otherwise, they'd be blank slates and fans of the series in general would have HATED that. It's better to have a nod and conclusion between these three specifically.
This theme is really hype but i'm just a little bit disappointing with the final boss because he has no personality at all, unlike the final boss from the first games.
yes absolutely!! and its so difficult to hear the music over the flurry of attacks you need to perform. And there's no phases for the music, just this for all stages. The song was what led me to finding and uploading this whole album in the first place.
@@complex-qo8io In the end I'm really love this theme overall and kinda glad that someone finally uploading the entrie soundtrack. So you have my gratitude!
@@OliverOliv8 the final boss is Ao that is stuck in a repeated loop. She touched the machine in the final area and became the gem. This is why the final area appears in her heartscape. She is the progenitor of the rebuilt world which makes the older sister's theory about how she is from the future kinda true. Ao originates from the new world.
Really? I enjoyed that is had phases. Gave me time to show of all my moves and switch mhw team comp before I killed the boss. Also gave you 3 chances (if I remember) to do 1-on-1 which rarely happened in base game.
was the only fight in the game that required any effort in my playthrough and also one of the only bosses to have multiple phases in the entire game (even if all of them were easy), so it felt like a breath of fresh air to me.
I love the violin solo that starts at 1:23. This whole track is awesome but that's my favorite part.
When the first game's final boss theme is so good you can't resist putting in nods to it.
If ya mean Blue Reflection's leitmotif, then it may be a tossup on whether or not you say is valid.
2:51 is so creative
2:16-2:48
Best part of the song IMO.

For me it sounds more like a final dungeon theme ahah
This is so amazing.
Very nice.

I got annoyed by how many phases the final boss had. Nowhere near as bad as Persona 3 but still annoying.
