That HUD is pure greatness! I had almost forgotten about the HUD because no UA-camr is using it (for reasons unknown) but I personally love hand-flying and landing by hand with a HUD. An exciting challenge is landing by hand. Landing by hand is almost impossible to do in a glass cockpit without 3D VR headset because there is no sense of depth and altitude and the small dials and numbers cannot be read when zooming the camera back which is necessary to land - but landing with a HUD is great, all important parameters like speed and sinkrate are right in front of the eyes while always keeping the eyes focused on the ILS-data and the runway. That military-style EFB is another highlight and the best design (only the iniBuilds Airbusses have similar great looking EFBs), finally an aircraft that does not look like having some cheap old smartphone with a suction cup in the side window but some real professional military multi function display device fixed-installed into the plane. And of course the RAAS beats it all, no aircraft ever before had a RAAS. Yes this one will become my new Fenix! My precious, with absolute system depth and visual perfection. I am curious how the simulation of the FMC can hold up with a real 737. So far Fenix had the best and most detailed and complex MCDU simulation but this FMC looks like an interesting challenge to learn (for non-Boeing-flyers who will soon fully dive in into the world of 737 for the first time ever)... ;)
You are absolutely right about the HUD display. I have been thinking about buying a VR headset or a monitor (TV) larger than 40" because I can't see the information in the glass cockpit during the landing. Thank you, your comment was very informative and helped me understand that I am not the only one who notices these details.
@@A330Driver thank you emi. all of these comparisons with PMDG got so old so quickly. how simmers have become anit-pmdg is unexplainable. enjoy your videos and even your honest review of the A330 was an example all simmers should follow

Emi, this plane looks great. If I had one criticism it’s the EFB. Lol! I have gotten used to having all my flight plans and everything dialed in on my PMDG so when I saw that EFB from the 80’s😂 I was like ugh…..
I think PMDG has really back burnered 737NG development. They said they would integrate EFB features from the 777 months ago and there hasn’t been a peep about that. In some respects, this one is a bit superior to the PMDG, imo.
@@jrod_pilot_miamiIn Rob’s forum post last Friday I believe he said they are rolling it out in on big rollout with the freighter released before end of month. Take a look and double check me though.

Ifly 737 cockpit is more realistic than PMDG one (textures, etc.). I used to be PMDG fan in the P3D and FSX times but now they disappoint on msfs. PMDG is definitely behind Fenix which has known to bring quality, accuracy, sound, textures, details, professional flying/simulation and systems, effects (such as wipers rain effects on windshield which is missing in PMDG) and EFB with GSX and Simbrief integration together. I hope Fenix could make aircrafts like the 737, 777, 747… so we can finally get rid of PMDG and fly more realistic Boeing aircrafts.
for a new release you sure are obsessed with PMDG. They are NOT. It is only your opinion. focus on the ifly And if you read a bit futher, you will see emi say that the ifly system modelling is not as deep as PMDG's and I remember simmers will bash a plane, no matter how good the cabin looks when the systems are not top notch (whatever that means). Carenado is a perfect example of this. This is a nice level B plane that will have a market
idk about the textures but the geometry certainly looks more accurate. Cockpit geometry always tends to look a bit off no matter how good the addon is.
Higher textures so it can perform like hot garbage? No thanks and fyi i create textures the pmdg’s have 2K 4K TEXTURES that’s enough but going higher than that will only hurt performance
The qualified opinions and insight you and FD2S has provided is so invaluable and I can only give my sincere thanks for providing such professional and honest reviews!

PMDG is losing. They’re arrogant and always have an excuse as to why they can’t release something. Then we have Randazzo and Mathijs Kok playing mind games constantly about their releases. In addition this aircraft isn't even completed nor has it surpassed pmdg sales and quality yet but yes lets consider this as "them losing". I hope you hear how ignorant you sound.
I doubt that. PMDG plan was always to port over their current line up first then work on new planes. Hence why the 747 will release before. They've been very transparent with that. Also considering the new technology they used to develop the 777 and the 747 I'm pretty sure the MAX is going to be pretty spot on. The max will be the only payware addon that has direct competition. All other aircraft will be exclusive to it's respective devs. Before you make bold statements pay attention to what's going on. They were never intending to release the MAX this early even knowing ifly is working on this. And that's fine cause I'm pretty sure by the time they release theirs people will still buy it
