What agreement are you talking about ?
There's no such agreement. There were talks in 1990, but that wouldn't work here, considering Ukraine was a part of the USSR at that point, they wouldn't be a "buffer." Also NATO isn't "taking" Ukraine, Russia is trying to.
@@GrimMui Ukraine is not eligible to join, because one of the stipulations to join is they must be peaceful for 5 years of no war or conflit with another nation
@@Neal_only1 That's just not true from everything I've seen. According to the minimum NATO rules, they could technically admit a country that was AT war, though they obviously would not. Can you provide a source that says what you're saying?
