Unfortunately, the cave painting it saw was poorly drawn, so it didn’t know crabs are supposed to have legs, and that’s why anomalocaris also went extinct.
Actually, it didn't go extinct, it didn't see legs and evolved caterpillar tracks instead, as seen on the only surviving image of it.
However, the caterpillar tracks come with a disadvantage: they only work if gravity is working, so the Anomalocaris must be constantly thinking of the Earth's magnetic field to turn it on. This means that 1- they are slower than most dinorcanorises, and 2- if they become distracted and stop thinking of gravity, they will be unable to move.
It is not extinct, but it _is_ endangered.

I love how the only thing this has to do with dinosaurs at this point are the increasingly wild ways to mispell dinosaurs.
I mean, radiodonts are also extinct? I am pretty sure that the appearance of Anomalocaris here is in reference to them being dinocarids, which also has “dino” in it (dinosaurs are terrible lizards, dinocarids are terrible crabs)
It’s possible that there’s some other brilliance going on with the other picks that I just haven’t picked up on, due to not being the appropriate georg

Glad to hear that a beautiful, magnifiscent species like Anomalocaris was the one that got the last laugh. Definitely worthy of being in the top 3 best dinosauruses, the interesting choice of evolving caterpillar tracks instead of crab legs was very unorthodox, but payed off.
carcinisation is often confused with the evolution of a vehicle into a car, 'tis an easy mistake to make in pursuit of crab
It also reduces the crabs lifespan since they get cancer
Highly implied that Anomalocaris wrote this, but is modest enough to look up to its peers despite their shortsightedness. Truly a good person.

The Anomalocaris Did not actually go extinct. They just turned into a crab
Fun fact: they found a radiodont (animals looking kinda like anomalocaris but some had different adaptations, e.g. one metre long, filter feeder, giant shield horn) called Schinderhannes Bartelsi in the Devonian, 100 million years after radiodonts were thought to have gone extinct
Also, they were stem group mandibulata, so crabs are technically their closest living relatives, along with every single other living myriapod or pancrusacean
I can't wait to find out who the number one dinander is!

Unfortunately as you can see in the picture anomalocaris got domesticated by alien invader called human who forced them to work 25/8 which caused their extinction because they all died from overworking at the early age of 15 l. The anomalocaris who managed to evolve into a crab wasn't spared by this and ended up dying at the age of 29 even though its life span is supposedly estimated to be 1000yrs

but it is an ancient arthropod, similar to shrimp and lobster, and does not look like that (obviously it doesn't look like that, that is a crane)

Here's something for your collection.
In the year of our Lord, 2023, I was astounded to come home from work and find that an incredible amount of lint was in my belly button. As one does, I picked this ball of fuzz from my orifice and placed it ever so gently into a very large sized mason jar. I continued to do so from January to December and had mustered up quite the colorful collection of exotic belly button furs. My wife is really enjoying her new pillow which was given birth to from mine own stomach hole.
