If your happy to talk about all the expenses then I’d love to hear it as someone who is very slowly heading in a new direction business wise I find it interesting and I think it’s important for people who don’t understand self employment to see that there is a difference between gross sales and profit when it comes to business x
One small question... In gross sales... Raw-material and other logistics and daily costs also included... Difference in gross net total & Revenue Profit... Sorry if it's too much.... But you explain it so simply.
I cannot WAIT to see your themed collections!! Sending you all my good vibes to make some beautiful things for us all to gush over ✨ It's really cool to see your breakdown of income from a handmade business, it helps me be a lot more realistic about my own expectations ♥️
Hi Lindsay!! Thank you soooo much!! I just started it and it look sooo cute!! Can’t wait to show u guys 🥹🥹🥹 So glad you found that interesting!! That makes me happy if I can help people have realistic expectations!! I think we can all benefit from some more honesty about what business is really like 🥰🥰
It's great that you made your goals for this month! I hope the weather improves for you for all your future markets, and I can't wait to see your new collection :)
Your zodiac items 😮😍 A twilight market sounds amazing. Have you got some fairy lights? That could make your stall look very magical. The bakery items sound so cute. I saw you made some cats… some black cats would be good for Halloween. I wonder if you could stamp them with a zodiac sign… or a moon, crescent and stars… Do you ever get overwhelmed with all the designs you want to make? 😊 Sorry, I won’t add to your to-do list 🤫I’m a craft enabler so I’m not really sorry 😂❤
Ahh so glad you like them!!! 🥰🥰🥰 That's a really good idea! they did say to bring some lights for the last hour or so! hahah girl YES!! I get so overwhelmed and I dont know where to start sometimes!! That's why I try to make collections so im forced to stick with one theme at a time 😂😂😂😂
Hi!! I was thinking about the wind situation…. You should buy a walls for your gazebo and put the wall up on the side where you’ll set up your tall displays. This will protect them a bit more. Also, I’m a small tshirt business and the cost of shipping overseas blows my mind. Do you mind if I ask who you use to ship overseas?…. 🌸
Hi lovely!! You’re so sweet for thinking of me 🥰🥰🥰 I have actually tried having the walls up, unfortunately in my experience the winds were so strong that the walls started acting like sails and made the whole thing worse 😞😞 but thank you so much for the suggestion!! Yes of course you can! I just use aus post but I won’t lie they are really expensive too 😵💫 my products are way smaller so I can send them in the cheapest parcel size possible… im not sure if that helps!
@@littledaisy_wangaratta thank you for replying! I’m from northern Tassie so, yes, windy days are a pain in the butt!! You’re so lucky to have so many markets to attend. We don’t have many here and hardly anyone does them on a Sunday. Love your content and can’t wait to see how the Beechworth day goes - I love that town (and the bakery!!!)
They really are 😞😞😞 have u had experience with marquees in the wind? Did that work for you? I don’t know if I’m doing anything wrong but the walls never work for me… I do travel quite a bit for markets 😅 I guess you would be super limited in ones you can do down there, have u attended the Salamanca Market? That would be amazing to do it one day 😍😍 I’m excited for the Beechworth market as well!! I’ve just started the “bakery collection” yesterday and it’s looking soooo cute!!
@@littledaisy_wangaratta we’ve had a couple of windy days but nothing too bad. I usually have the walls up off the ground by about a foot just to reduce the resistance a little. But the due to the weather we had about 3 weeks ago (probably the same storm front that you got) the outdoor markets were cancelled.
Thank you for adding costs etc. I find this more realistic than watching American markets as they seem to be very expensive. One question I do have - how much is too much stock?
Hi Karen! So glad you found it helpful and realistic!! 🥰🥰 girl that is a hard question! It depends on the market you are attending and how many people are expecting and how many products you have overall! I think it’s best to have more of a variety of products in a variety of prices than to have a ton of the same thing, but when I’m prepping for markets I will make 3-5 of the same product to give me a realistic idea of how it’s selling! Because if you have 1 for example and u sell that one, you don’t know for sure if it was a fluke or if it’s an actual popular product, so I think 3 will give you a better idea! Hope that helps!
