Speaking for myself when actually I might be speaking for many. This is a dream that apparently will come true by the due dilligence of Mr. Clive Palmer. True hero in my book of this century, the man, in the right place, in the right time, who will realize the dreams of all of us who were so interested in this historic event, what a thrill, this will be to witness it's inagurel day of sailing~!
I am sure Chinese ship yard can deliver Mr.Palmer a high quality vessel, but the construction project will probably give him and his project managers few new gray hairs, because Chinese are not used to this kind of huge multitask ship building projects which is going to cause lots of constructional and operational delays including project management related problems. If Mr.Palmer wants the Titanic to be ready for her maiden voyage in April 2016 the construction should star quite soon
Dear Clive - You are a genious - always wanted to go onboard and see the worlds most famous vessel. I am starting to save and cant wait to make that epic voyage. A Perchard , Jersey, Channel Islands, UK
For over 50 years I have been interested in Titanic. I would love to go on a cruise on this ship. I probably won't be able to afford the first crossing, but I'm very interested. No TV's, no Internet, absolutely fabulous!
Make no mistake, though. The world's top Titanic researchers have been used as consultants on this project, the ship has been designed seaworthy by the same designers as the Oasis of the Seas as well as Disney's cruise ships, there is a Chinese shipyard more than willing to construct the ship, and Professor Palmer has more than enough money to pay for her construction. Titanic II will exist.
@looksatbooks The researchers played a role in designing the ship, not just commenting on the design. As for the concerns that the Chinese might build it poorly, keep in mind that ships are not mass produced, and Prof. Palmer has more than enough money to ensure that corners aren't cut dduring construction. As for the zeppelin comparison, those proposals have not been professionally engineered or found a place to build it like Titanic II has.
Oh, you mean those packed bus-like vehicles that you take multi-hour trips jammed inside of, where you spend every waking minute with popped ears, cramped legs, and often with that one inevitable crying child that you're stuck in the same compartment with? Yeah, a purpose-built ocean liner is going to be my trans-Atlantic vehicle of choice from here on out. If zeppelins made a comeback, I'd instantly start using them for over-land trips.

This ship will enforce the idea of war and that is class war the war that all war is derived from.

I'm not going on it. Who would ever want to ride a ship that was a sequel to a Nightmare?
Beautiful
Why even go on a cruise ship when you can go to a resort? Titanic II will be different.
hey guess what they have these things called planes now
They had made a new titanic
See you in the future!

Green screens

🤭 Smh
If Titanic II will sail next to the Oasis of the Seas, who wins? Titanic II ofcourse! That's something I can call a real 'ocean liner'.
Titanic II, Olympic III and Britannic II will be the class of peace. ;-)
