I wish we in Mexico had presenters like this, very few reviewed this bike in Mexico properly. Nice to see this review, I might actually consider buying the Dominar 250.
Rishaad, your presentation carries certain charm & a soothing demeanour. I admire the calm with which you approach your reviews. Simply the best; keep it up, sir!
The dominar 250 is a sweet value for money package😍😍❤️❤️. Its a great all round bike in the 250 cc segment. Comfortable, fuel efficient, easy to ride in the city.good detailed review guys.
Like always, very good review Rishaad. This can be a potential upgrade from my 14 year old Pulsar 150. I think a 250cc segment comparison should be next.
@@ivarteja3112 Get the NS 200 or fz 25 if you want to use the bike mostly inside the city and only occasionally use it for touring. Get dominar 250 if you tour a lot or your commute is mostly on a highway.
Very good review. I'm 38 now and have switched on from being a bike rider to a car/suv bias. However the Dominar is the only bike which feels the best suited for a comeback...
35k difference in price is worth it. If someone wants Dominar better pay more and get the bigger much better 400. Both bikes nearly weigh the same. This is just another v15 v12 story. Bajaj diluted Dominar brand with 250.
Maybe they have intentionally limited the price difference to make more people go for the 400. A huge price difference would make a lot number of people go for the 250cc model. Another possibility is that since Dominar sales have been low so far, they have brought in this smaller version. Bajaj might have set a huge target of 10,000 per month for the Dominar 400 considering the sales of RE classic, but Dominar 400 sold less than 1000 units per month. It might be because people buying RE wouldn't bother about its lower quality and have a different taste, so they buy the retro bike rather than a high tech superior bike. So Bajaj can't expect the same sales there. And, until a few years ago, people would have hesitated to buy a massive 400cc bike from a brand like Bajaj, which was plagued with quality issues in the past. So, the 250cc model might be here to increase sales. Considering the current economic recession like situation, possibly even becoming a depression, a lower variant might work well to increase the sales figures.
No one would have bought it If you had to buy a Lamborghini, you won't hesitate but Would you buy a maruti's supercar? Would you spend the same amount on a maruti?
Bajaj pulsar ns 200 is 30k cheaper and has better power to weight ratio. And cheaper to maintain to. And now with Fi pulsar ns 200 is really worth the money.
There r hardly any sporty, little less expensive and practical bikes these days. I guess the last practical bike was Honda unicorn. With good ride quality and mileage. Cc Ka kya karega jab traffic main he phasna hon. We need a practical bike with Max price between 70-90k. 🤔🤔
Can you please review Husqvarna Svartpilen & Vitpilien please... I bought Svartpilen on May 31st. I would like to know your thoughts too Autocar India ❤️
will this bike be good for guys who upgrade from scooty or for guys who r bikeing for the 1st time.....?and does it suite for city traffics as well...?
Dominar 250 is 180kg with 27bhp Bullet is 192kg with 20bhp Honda CB350 IS 179KG with 20bhp Hunter is 182kg with 20bhp Dominar is a sports cruiser not a sports bike. People who complain about the weight. I get it. It is heavy. But it's not really unridable and infact is really sweet to ride. It might be the "heaviest 250cc". But the bigger picture should always be to power to weight ratio where it isn't that bad.
Can you suggest bikes which are under the 250-400 cc range which can be used as a sports bike also and be very easy and smooth to ride in the traffic also.
but the swing arm has to carry approximate same weight as of 400. Then where does the slimming of swing arm idea stand? I would have liked if they have reduced the weight of the bike significantly wrt the 400.
FZ 250 is the king in 250cc segment. It's light in weight, peppy, comfortable and has a reliable engine which never overheats at all. In fact it's power to weight ratio is on power with ktm 250cc.
Is is possible that can we upgrade the tyres to 110 in the front and 150 in the rear and also the secondary instrument cluster with gear indicator as found in dominar 400? ?
Even MOJO is compared with dominor 400.. there's no where that dominor comes close to mojo in terms of quality & reliability. If u want a bike and keep with yourself as long as u wish then go for MOJo and even after one lakh Kms later engine of mojo revs the same as new one which I can't see in old dominors
Nope! In general, a taller gear ratio means better fuel mileage and less noise, although you'll have to shift down if you need to overtake wheras short gearing gives quick acceleration and enough grunt at the low end.
This bike would have been what pulsar was 10 -15 years ago if the weight of this 250cc bike is around than 165!!! I have taken test drive of Dominar 400 last year I love the straight-line speed and stability of Dominar... However I don't know if it's a weight distribution thing or what..Dominar is a heavy bike that feels even heavier when you ride!!! If someone says otherwise is either a very tall or powerful guy else he is lying!!! In the city even if you are not in bumper to bumper traffic, let's just say it was not comfortable!!! I get the touring appeal of Dominar But IMHO Dominar 400 is no city bike!!!
