I like your videoes. Especially the touring videoes. I traveled 325 km in 5 hrs including short 3 short brakes of 15 min in total on Splendour Pro in May 2020. It was a journey to the home because of a lockdown. That was my first solo long ride and I was skeptical about my decision. At that time I used to think that only large cc motorcycles are capable to tour for more than 200km distance in one go. But boy, if you love riding a bike then you can enjoy even a 100cc motorcycle. Of course the larger the motorcycle the more comfortable the journey. But even if you can not afford the one, you can still enjoy with whatever you have provided you have a thing for a bike.

Great video, I really liked it. I have the Dominar 250, and I've found that the windvisor is needed, you will feel more relaxed at 100/110 with it. Also, the autonomy I am getting is not so good, only 300 kms with 11 liters (you still got 2 more liters in reserve after that), so around 27 kilometers per liter. The motorcycle feels relaxed at 110 kmh, but that is actually only 100 kmh in the gps. You do have some reaction at that speed to pass a truck. The seat is allowing me to do between 200 to 300 kms before feeling pain, so that is something I will have to address and improve. Taking all those thing into consideration, and adding the led lights and the ABS brakes, this is a good option and can be enjoyed for travel.
Edited: I have made a trip of 6000 kilometers in less than 3 weeks (to Ushuaia, were the world ends in Argentina). I was able to ride 6 consecutive days for 12 hours each. But I used a lamb skin over the seat for more comfort.
The mileage is still the same, 300 kms with a full tank.
If you travel alone (without pillion) you wont feel the need for more power.
I now have 16.000 kms done (in 18 months), and didnt face any issues at all. It is a very good bike for the price.

@@shahan484 I am from Argentina, and bought the bike here, in Buenos Aires city. It is really popular in this country. The Dominar 250 and also the 400, both has been selling like hot cakes. Because of the prices and all the good stuff that it brings. Also Royal enfield has been selling a lot of bikes here. The prices are a lot better than the bikes from Japan.

    Hey
Impressive review. Completely agree with you having test-driven Dominar 250 and Gixxer SF250.
Just a quick suggestion, given that the 250 segment doesn't have a lot of bikes, it would be great if you could compare it with other 250 bikes, vis, Gixxers, Duke, Husqvarnas.
This would give even more weight to this review.
    Cheers!

      Also,
      A quick question.
How did you feel about the engines of Gixxer in comparison to this at 80-100 cruising speeds.
I thought Dominar's engine would be less strained, but Gixxer felt more refined.

Do you think this motorcycle is good for daily commuter + weekend touring? Also how big of a factor is the weight?

    Hi,
I earlier had an Apache RTR 200 4V BS4 and done lots of touring including Ladhakh and Uttarakhand. Unfortunately I met an accident and lost my bike. I had ride about 45000 km on my previous bike. Now I am planning to buy a new bike for multi role and mostly for tour purpose. Could you suggest me which bike should I consider now. I am looking for bikes between 200 cc to 400 cc. I am short rider height is 5 feet 5 inch.

Can we change its tyres to a higher segment..like 110 and 150 ..instead of what we get ..the tyres are a bit skinny for its weight

Currently I own Unicorn150 on which I have done lot of touring like from Mumbai to Kerala, Karnataka, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. But now planning I m planning for 2022 Ladakh trip. So want to move up.
Will it be a good option? But my usage will be 70% City and 30% touring. So will it be a good option Or should go for something else?
Note: Due to Covid not able to take test drive of any 250cc bike.

Strell cheta ! Im really confused between D250 vs mt15 which one to take.
Cost is same now for both of the bikes
But taking the weight into consideration for city ride i feel mt 15 is the best with less weight and catchy speed and quick response
But the same me thinks if i keep 10k around iam getting 250cc instead of 155cc
    So please suggest
    From andhra pradesh
