    THE RECIPE:
    Quick Marinara Sauce | Vegan & Plant Based Friendly
    Canned San Marzano Tomatoes: 2, 28 oz cans
    Tomato Paste: 2oz
    Garlic Cloves: 3 ea
    Fresh Basil: ¼ cup
    Dried Oregano: 2 tsp
    Red Onion Chopped: 1/2 cup
    White Wine: ½ cup
    Olive Oil: 1 cup
    White Pepper: 1 tsp
    Kosher Salt: to taste
    Sugar: 1.5 tsp
    - In a sauce pot heat ½ cup olive oil over med flame
    - Add whole garlic cloves and cook until light golden brown
    - Add diced onion and cook until translucent
    - Deglaze with white wine and reduce by half
    - Drain canned tomatoes
    - Add canned tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano, and bring to a boil and once at a boil back down to a simmer, cook until acidity is gone (tart tomato flavor)
    - Add sugar
    - Take mixture off flame and let cool for 15 - 20 min
    - Add mixture to blender and slowly increase speed, slowly drizzle in olive oil and blend until smooth
    - Season with salt and white pepper
