    I have a 16ft Bris with a 20hp. Putting together does not get easier. Very important to line everything up. Proper inflation will also make a huge difference in the ride and planing of the boat.

      This boat won't be able to handle 25hp, it will destroy the boat. I think this boat is rated for 10hp or maybe15hp, double check.

    How well did the 2.5 HP motor do with the BRIS. I plan on buying this dingy to tender my yacht when anchored out. Was you able to run 5 mph. Great video reviewing it👍

    • @DaBinChe
      @DaBinChe  3 роки тому +4

      if no wind and no current with a light load it'll easily do 5mph but if heavy wind against current and heavy load it is walking pace. If you can man handle a larger outboard do it.

  • @jeffccr3620
    @jeffccr3620 3 роки тому +4

    Nah you need at least 6hp min for that boat, but the 9.9 is perfect

    So when you inflate or deflate you have to install/remove the aluminum floor pieces each time?

    • @DaBinChe
      @DaBinChe  3 роки тому +3

      If you want to pack it away, yes. Or you can leave it as is inflated. Can also transport it deflated or partial inflated with the floors in place. That is what I do to fit it in the back of a pickup truck.

      For me it’s easy for me to pack up and in pack it and put it together you need exercise in life amd this boat will get you that I have a 15 go and with a better motor you get on plane way faster amd better tho

    You don’t need a hard floor it makes it more heavy amd you gotta do a lot of put it in amd take it out woth my air floor I don’t and can carry more

    How this is the boat? Is it a cheapy plastic or is it pretty durable

    • @DaBinChe
      @DaBinChe  3 роки тому +1

      It is PVC 0.9mm thick so you have to take care of it cause it is an inflatable or it will get puncture. Also PVC don't last that long in sunny places. For example in the Bahamas PVC will only last 3years, while Hyperlon will last 10years. In places that don't get much sun like Seattle PVC will last 15years.

      @DaBinChe  3 роки тому +2

      Max tubes is 3.6psi recommended is 3psi, Max Keel is 5psi recommended is 4.3psi, Max air floor (if it has one) is 10psi recommended is 8psi

    took me awhile to snap the side bars in.... next goal is to get a gas outboard motor.

    • @DaBinChe
      @DaBinChe  2 роки тому

      The key to snap the side bars on is to make sure the floors are flat (on same plane) as each other as to make a straight line for the bar to snap on. It is a snug fit so if the floor are not flat with each other the side bar will never go on. I put D-rings on the corners of each floor piece so I can raise them into the same plane.

    Would you buy a boat with aluminum floor again or would u buy the air floor

    • @DaBinChe
      @DaBinChe  2 роки тому

      depends on use. Considering that I have a RIB which I like more. The air floor is good for just fun on the water or transportation space limit. The hard floor is for more serious stuff where you're holding/transporting stuff like diving gear or fishing gear. And for the folks that are even more serious get a RIB but there is the transportation limitation, you'll need a pickup truck or larger van. Smaller RIBs are usually used as dinghy on larger boats. I just sold my pickup so am transportation limited so can't use my RIB or my sailboat. In this case an air floor is best.

    • @victornguyen6058

      @@DaBinChe i will only be fishing mainly by myself so i think i will get a air floor boat. Do you know any boat
      brands that have rod holders built in and don't weigh over 100 lbs

    • @DaBinChe
      @DaBinChe  2 роки тому

      @@victornguyen6058 rod holders are always a add on...but if mainly fishing you have to watch out for hooking the boat and puncturing it. For strictly fishing look into some type of portable non-inflatable. Costco has a good price inflatable air floor if you are going that route.
