I am TERRIFIED of spiders, like scream at the top of my lungs terrified. But I've actually watched most of your videos tonight and I am in love with those rich blue and yellow tarantulas, they're simply gorgeous and now I want one >w
isnt this spider 1:02 the same one that rolled in part 1??? this guy is amazing....he has instant reaction to everything! Tip: if u have/will have kids, dont ever let them go in that lab! LOL!
@Vorhizzle Oh and if the T needs high humidity, a large enclosure could make it difficult to keep humidity levels on a to day basis...depending on how ventilation works if you have your T in a tank like Robs, it chouldn't be a problem, but if your talking about a ten gallon with an open screen lid, all the humidity will float out.

@Vorhizzle Height can be a problem, if its a terrestrial they wont handle falls too well, you wouldn't want it to be too tall for the T, as, if it were to climb and fall it could die.
Rob, I have noticed that when you feed you hold food very close to the tarantula. Is this to encourage feeding? I am new to the hobby and currently place 2 crickets in the tank and wait for the spider to do it's thing. Is it worth me holding food close to the spider? Or am I fine doing as I am? Your advise would be massively appreciated.
I like the fact that you know the tech names of the spiders and I love the videos but it would help if you used the tech name and the what their are called like trap door spider, etc, etc.
@D3ADpyro Avic! P. Metallicas are very fast and VERY venomous, not to mention they are one of the most expensive T's out there and . And there are lots of very pretty Avics. Get a A. versicolor bright blue as they grow up, then become super fuzzy pink/red fluff balls with greenish blue carapace(head). Work your way up, T's are relatively easy to keep in large number since their low maintenance. Get an Avic work your way up I've had T's since I was four, I'm 18 now and just got my first Pokie.
When are you going to make more videos? I am so SO scared of spiders, but after watching your videos I see them in a whole new light. I actually feel bad about squishing spiders that have been near me... next time I will try to cup them and send them on their way.

Yes you are right! something SLOW and not aggro... Start with something like a curly (brachypelma albopilosum)

It's actually easier to use the latin name versus the common one. Jon3800 does that though so if you'd like you can check out his vids.
