I understand Carpenter's anger, the questions weren't smart enough or interesting enough to make the interview relevant or interesting to the viewer. Asking, for example, what it was like to film a beheading is one of the stupidest questions you can ask a director, because it's too childish or superficial. "Cigarrette Burns" is a very special and complex episode in its fantasy and in its concept of meta-cinema, in addition to the hidden and tremendously dark world it portrays, so asking him about jokes or easter eggs is, to say the least, one of the most boring things that can be done to him. Carpenter's reaction and annoyance is understandable.

The man DOESN'T LIKE INTERVIEWS or interviewers. It is obvious. Reason is they have nothing interesting to ask him and it's usually nonsensical bullshit and he doesn't have the time.

Probably.... 2 secs after interview he's forgotten all about them.... So he's probably done interviews with them again at some point.
