I've said this before , but I love this new trend they started last year and that they continued it this year of bring back the previous winners to do a new dance and to give the new trophy to the new mirror ball champions , like a passing of the torch. Such a brilliant concept , And i'm sure it helps get them viewers too Lol. But still a great idea. So good to see these two Dance again. I loved Charli and Mark's Dance last year on the final and now we have this great amazing dance from xochitl and Val. I also liked the little rehearsal package they had time to show.

I didn’t watch all season because of Anna Delvey, but when I saw Xochitl had performed I HAD to watch it!!! Literally my favorite DWTS contestant EVER!!! I’d even watched her on The Baby-Sitters club and had no idea! She’s so amazing and has come so far. P.S. My reaction to hearing Pink Pony Club: 😮🤣 *pictures my theater group all singing this song at our last cast party*
charli may be more finessed jordan may be more proffesional meryl may be more refined but man. no one. NO ONE can beat xochitl's energy. on top of great technique, she manages to bring her own glee and vibrance to the stage, which never fails to hit me in just the right spot. and to think that she never had ANY backround prior to this show, i am shook. she may not be the best winner per say, but she is my personal favorite, far and away.
This was so beautiful, every little accent and detail and the gorgeous lines and musicality. Their frame, speed and fluidity were dreamy. This 1:41 proved what I said all season. There was not one GREAT dance or contestant this season. Joey can take the trophy - even though Chandler was better, but neither performed at the level of the best contestants of ANY other season. There were dances where no mistakes were made - but there were no special moments of artistry or accomplishment. Ilona and Alan were the only couple with chemistry and she improved so much and was so much fun to watch that I wanted her to win.

I wouldve loved to see Chandler and Brandon reunite and dance at this level. Sadly, we prob wont see that with Joey and Jenna. They will be fun … just not this level of good

The song is about leaving hometown to go live a better life somewhere else. At the end it talks about not leaving her loved ones behind. And that’s exactly what she did
