Think of it this way, here you see a 100 year old man playing. You try when you're 100 years old. Dude look up old Candido records then you will understand what contributions the drummer is talking about. Smh.

I've been told by the Latin players that the percussionists always have to play in front of the beat to get the authentic sound.
