This was so helpful! I’ve been dealing with hip and low back pain for weeks now and I noticed an improvement after just doing this video a couple of times. My knees do ache a bit after, so I may try the blanket under the knee next time. Thank you so much!

This was really helpful for me, I do a regular stretch routine that includes pigeon pose, but I've always been worried I'm doing it wrong because when my weight is centred, my hip sits really high up and I could see that the instructor (in a video) was much lower. I have very limited hip flexibility so I'm guessing that's the problem, but it was always a huge worry for me that I was sitting wrong. I'll have to try it with the block!

Thank-you for trying but as a beginner, I can't even get into your beginner start position. Any suggestions?
I heard this would help with my nerve pain going down the front of my leg? I had back sugary 3 months ago to unpinch nerves but still have some nerve pain. I can do the stretch but can't quite get my bottom leg to go out to the side like you do. I could but would be leaning to one side. any suggestions .

My hips can't touch the floor when I do this pose. Any suggestions on what I can do to improve this?
Try a seated version. Sit, one ankle on opposite knee, back straight, lean forward.
