I loved the conversation. I’m so happy you have someone to speak Spanish with. I’m so sorry for the loss of Deejay. I was wondering where she was. She was such a bright light from the gate to the kitchen with her beautiful smile. Sweet and tough. She took her work seriously. She reminded me of myself. Rest in heaven dear sister. May God continue to shine on her family. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Matikho is that guy you need when it comes to navigating life and marriage - especially from a cross cultural perspective... Marwa you and Ro are lucky to have him in your lives
Waaaaooo Nice to you both Collab. @Marwa and Matiko thanks for allowing this Collab happening. Very nice to you both African wife's. More of this please 🙏
I am from the USA and I was pretty shocked that to find that if the marriage doesn't work. The father keeps all the children and this is the way it is in the court system. Now if the mother is single then she can see the children but if she remarries then she doesn't get to see the father doesn't want the new husband to have any say over his children. Can you tell me if this is the same way from where you come from. God forbid but if you were to divorce you would just probably go home without any children. The men that I have met online dating site all have children but they don't take care of them they leave it for their parents to take care of them. They just make sure they stay in their home where they have full say.
Good company with Chef Matiko's wife she is a good person.Love her deportment.Buena suerte en la relación entre los dos. Each one teach teach each other.
Chef Matiko has a civilized mindset. He is not going to let an old cultural practice separate his family. Even if his sister married. She is welcome to come home and spend time with her family. I heard he mentioned that in a video with Nasto. I love it. Imagine your blood sister married, and because of culture, 3 yrs you never see her. That emotional stress can't see your siblings. Not good! Family must bond, and nothing must separate family.
Cheff Matiko is mixed looks like Black/Arab or Indian mix, as well as Nasto nd Mike Venture if u saw their Granny it says it all. Mixed people of Africa can fit in any nation on planet earth it's just born within you.
Hola su discussion es muy educativa donde dos culturas se enceuntran he agredezco a la sra .Marwa por comprender a su hombre y nuestra cultura Africana .aprendi Espanol gracias a Marwa y le estare eternamente agredecido.
Hallo Mrs Marwa and Mrs Matiko, thanks for conversation that is interesting, true reflection of relationships life. I gain so much listening from both of you, keep it up, more love for you ladies ❤from South Africa
Hello, this is a nice conversation. A morning walk to let the baby get early sun helps to establish a good sleep cycle. My mum and other family gave a bath before bedtime to the baby and it seems to help sleep. Those are some practices in my family, from the Caribbean.
A successful mixed family relationship is to understand and respect both cultures and find a good balance, in my opinion. Great conversation Ro and I can't wait to welcome the Ro and Marwa family.
It was a pleasant conversation; my friend had the sentiment that if she had her daughter first, she wouldn't have her second one; she wanted to have four children. My prayers are for you both to have a strong, healthy boy first😂😂... Be blessed
Matiko and Marwa are different Matiko is intelligent conscious and responsible and hard hard working he is loved from people and Marwa is weird ignorant stupid, lazy he does not work and he is loved by the people and not responsible very stingy cheater and posses all negative image in Kenya and I hope Rocio changes him and guide him to be like Matiko 😂😅
Great conversation and thank you Chef Matiko & wife for good parenting advice to Marwa and Rocio. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺, so sorry for the sad news about DJ ROSE 🌹. CONDOLENCES 🙏 to PABLO KE , FAMILY & ENTIRE TEAM MARWA. May the soul of beautiful DJ ROSE 🌹 🙏 🙏 🙏 RIP.
Kindly ROCIO, can you please involve DEE, DAVY, CONGRATS MUM & DAD to support Marwa to STOP those people threatening Marwa, destroying Marwa's BRAND & damaging MARWA'S LEGENCY. PLEASE KINDLY TELL MARWA to do something!!!!! Very sad, painful to watch NYABOHANESE Village being COMPROMISED by LAZY NEGATIVE GANGS.
Great video...happy you have friends with children and especially rocio has a spanish speaking female friend to talk with...this is good for her soul. Lovely tribute to your manager who passed ❤
Yeah. Her daughter if everything for her. She does not want to miss her daughter from her eyes even for seconds. She is very much obsessed with her daughter.
Very good tips, good energy and respect for each other, don’t forget you were a couple before the child. So your relationship is a priority and everything else will fall in place.
As far as adults living with the parents, it’s not so much cultural rather than familiar. It depends on the parent child dynamics as well as religious beliefs.
I love this conversation of the two of you 😂. It was so funny when Laura was explaining about the broom 🧹 I'm married to a Kenyan as well but we live in the United Kingdom when my husband came to live whit me hi took the stick of of the broom 🧹 and only sweep the floor white the brus 🤯.
@sophie South Africa good content Rocio that was educative. It's nice to get advice from those who have seen it all they talk about what they have experience that is matiko and Laura 👍🏽👌💯✅🙏🥰
Ro, you can switch it up. One Day couples therapy, the next how to keep your relationship, the third sing some of your music… call it wake up Africa…?I love the diversity mixing cultures… living and learning one another…
You and Laura mentioned that the people in Africa can squat real low. That has always amazed me as well. I have also noticed that on other UA-cam channels from Asia (Vietnam) and Iran (Iranian Nomads) They all squat like that young and old without problem. 😊❤🦋❤🦋❤😊
Raising kids is not dumping them to grandmas they will help yes but don’t make them full time nannies. Grandmas raised you so you raise your own period. Think like you got brains
Use your brain because other cultures have nothing like dumping kids to their loved ones or making them nannies. Was your mother your nanny? We live in extended families and each member is a child and they belong not exist
Hi guys, I love the conversation today between you guys. Entertaining, yet factual.. Every family parenting experience is different. The one thing that should be constant in child rearing is installing a feeding and sleeping schedule for the baby from birth. Sleeping schedule is very important. The baby should go to sleep with soft music or soothing sound at the same time everyday in her/his own bed with a full stomach and clean diaper in order to sleep well. This training period is crucial. After 4 week+, the baby will adapt to this schedule and will make your life easier. He/she may cry in the beginning but should be ignored unless the baby needs changing or is sick. This schedule will make you the best baby whisperer ever. Rocio, I know that with your calm spirit you will be a very discipline and good mother. Congratulations again & good luck with your delivery.
Marwa really needs to have an open mind about life. He is too insistent about village life around Nyabohanse. He comes across like he would love to delegate his duties of raising his child to the village or to his mom. I’ve watched Chef Matiko and he is a very hands on dad and his advice is 💯 on point. Raising a kid is hard work!! Also isn’t it time that Marwa also started helping Rocio with serving food?? Sitting down to wait for her to serve him while she is this far into the pregnancy comes across as being a male chauvinist. Small things like serving her goes a long way to make a marriage last
An amazing video right there a beautiful conversation,Laura and chef Matiko you are an amazing couple just like our travel commando and Ro.Stay blessed
this is an extraordinary experience for you. You two have learned a lot of things. Youu hae a ot in common and you compliment each other, I am not surprised if you become besties. That is most interesting
Does Marwa think birthing is like pooping or what😂😂😂 have mercy... it's more than sperm donating🤭 sorry 4 that. But he has to be considerate what women go through 🙂
Maira is a very smart little girl that's why she can't sit still. Her activeness is not hyperactivity but a sign of brilliance and smartness. Her brains works like a computer. She needs to be kept busy at all times otherwise nobody arround her will have peace. Laura and Chef Matiko are lucky to have her.
Rocio it’s lovely to see you with somebody you can speak the same language . Please get covers for the sofas , kids jump on them and they can get dirty.
But I think it depends on the family to how they bring up the kids. I’m in African. I’m a Ugandans when I was growing up in my village, we all eat together and nobody leaves until everybody is done. You can leave before other other family. We always eat together.
In our culture its also like that the women can sleep together in the mans home where the parents are but you cannot as a man sleep with her in the girls parents home unless you sleep in separate rooms and there is a certain way the man should not wear with the father and mother inlaw present. Its because the man is the head of the family and there can not be two heads and for respect purposes. Its huge no to kiss and cuddle in front of your parents family or elders😢. Its a huge disrespect😮 Culture differences...you look good together and you are beautiful ladies ❤❤❤ lovely video

News for Marwa... Once the baby comes, you will find that everything will change.... And you will have a new reality.... Please be ready for that....
Thus, is Africa. It is so easy to get a nanny.
why is that?
@@Getaway-e3m I'm wondering too...

Why?

Yes, agree Marwa your idea of raising a child is much different than the reality of it. Just take one day at a time once the baby is born, support Rosillo before and after is born, be thoughtful too. The mother takes on more responsibility after it is born there is always something to do until it is old enough where it will speak, etc. but work will always need to be done, bathing, feeding, giving attention, etc. when the child becomes ill. Give and make time for each other be there for each other..❤
Marwa If you want healthy kids with minimal risk of birth defects, space them 3 years apart. This will give mother's body enough time to rebuild nutritional resources. It will also allow maximum attention and nutrition to each kid. You can start trying for another child when the first one is around 2 years old and has started to be independent. This is an ancient and common custom in Africa and most other cultures. Closer spacing has become more common recently mostly in poorer, less educated communities due to socio economic factors.
