Maaaan, this just took me back to when I met my now husband for the very first time! I couldn’t sleep, eat, work, especially during the last 4 weeks leading up to it. I was paranoid about Covid and catching something that would prevent me from travelling. The travelling itself was a nightmare, I lost for luggage and it only arrived in New York a week before I had to come back to SA. It definitely isn’t an easy journey but well worth it❤❤❤
The stress of travelling can mess up with your mental state I know. But I’m glad you managed to travel and spend time with your husband. Are you also going long distance?

I just stumbled upon your video and was "HOOKED". What a beautiful video and the love shown there was so sweet. It only took one trip to Bermuda for me to love the people there and their not seeing black and white. I fell in love with the island and it's people and have been there many times, unfortunately I had to return to the real world, but I loved seeing the black and white couples all the time and how I was not treated any differently than a black girl while there. I have made friends there and it is wonderful to get back to see them from time to time. My only regret is that I was always healing from another relationship gone wrong, back home, and was frightened to get involved with anyone. I still love that island and it brought me peace when I needed it most. You two are doing it right, because here in the US people still struggle with mixed marriages. It seems as though other countries are becoming more and more OK with it and I see it as nothing more than our skin being a differet color. God made us all.

I met a guy who is now my boyfriend a year ago and we're also long distance. At first, i had no intention of starting a relationship. I guess I wasn't really looking for one and didn't have the confidence to put myself out there, but we met on social media and became friends, and he proved me wrong lol. So now we're planning on moving in together at the end of the summer, which is scary but exciting. I remember telling him I didnt want this to become something serious because I couldn't do long distance, that I need something tangible. I dont know where we wouldve ended up if it would've gone on longer us being apart but luckily it worked out for us and I'm glad it worked out for you and you guys pushed through all the ups and downs you may have had.
