Mad Dog II: The Lost Gold (Sega CD) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

- A complete playthrough of American Laser Games' 1994 Sega CD FMV light-gun shooter, Mad Dog II: The Lost Gold.
A thoroughly excellent sequel to the classic LaserDisc Mad Dog McCree. This plays pretty smoothly, but (like many of ALG's Sega CD titles) have so much dithering that you can't see some of the bad guys - you actually have to memorize where they'll come from and anticipate when they'll show up. This effectively ruins a few scenes in the game, but if you can figure it out, this isn't a bad time to play :) Just about every other port is better than this, though.
This playthrough shows all of the possible paths. When one ends, I edit in the playthrough of the next. Once the third path is finished, the video continues from where all three of the usual paths converge.

sega cd blurry video is so epic it looked retro even in its own time lol.
Thanks for doing this one. I had lots of great memories with this game on the PC. I don't think I ever beat it. I would pretend I was a stuntman in the game and fall over the railing onto a mat in my basement. Good times!
Van Hammersly Hahaha that's awesome, those were always my favorite parts
i guess it's pretty randomly asking but do anyone know of a good site to stream newly released tv shows online ?
The music at 3:24 is an edited version of Land of the Giants from De Wolfe Music
nice shooting nintendocomplete
must be hard playing this without a light gun
It seems like this version is easier to play than the 3DO version
A qualidade do video para o Sega Cd, um sistema que tem suas limitações de 64 cores, até que ficou com uma qualidade boa, por ser um jogo feito do zero. Numa Tv a qualidade desse video deve subir bastante.

Are you using a genuine Game Gun to play this?
There is some thing about this game that look quite different to the 3DO version, although this was a pretty good effort for the Mega CD.
*Firstly it looks like when you shoot someone they die, where as on 3DO sometimes you can put 6 shots into them and they dont feel a thing.
*Second is you seem to have 12 bullets per reload, 3DO only get 6 and you need to shoot a skull to get the second gun filled.
*Third, on the 3DO version you have to shoot the guys in the random order stage as much as 3 times, basically untill you have shot a certain number of people in that scene.
*Forth, on 3DO when you beat Mad Dog, the treasure box is full of sand and you need to go back through 2 more times, so you need to actually do all 3 guides to complete the game.
*Fifth, the video quality on the 3DO is obviously WAY better and you can actually see everyone ;)

To answer one of those things I know about this game.
The sand ending depends on whether you have 10,000 points or more. If not, you get the bad end and must choose another guide to the treasure. Fail to get 10,000 points the second guide and you must take the last guide which will give you the good end no matter what.
PS. Continuing resets your score
Some of these scenes are so disjointed. I wonder what the logic was with some of them. Especially that jump to the evil monk guy.
+Daggerborn Haha one can only hoped they had a 'fluid' script and just did what they thought was cool. It really isn't coherent at all
The logic was to get your money. People seem to forget about arcades.
this game would better if the graphics wasn't so fuzzy and shitty
Totally agree, but at least we eventually got this to replace it :) ua-cam.com/video/-AY7P2Mcy90/v-deo.html
Cinepack ? TrueVideo code?
Vomit in a blender
Sega cd é um lixo...mega drive não precisa desse acessório inútil
