MY 1 YEAR OLDS CURL CO WASH & DETANGLING ROUTINE

- Here is what I do to co wash and detangle my 1 year olds hair. Her hair gets knotted very quickly so I like to do this routine so that her knots don't get too bad to the point of no return. By doing this routine I don't have to detangle her hair for about a week. Hope this helps!

Everything you showed I use in my son hair I been using the sheamoisture conditioner for 4 years it’s amazing for detangling. I’m not sure if you have their nourishing hair and scalp butter but it is amazing for kids hair. Especially for adding a little bit of moisture back into my son hair when I don’t want to wash it. I use the butter and braid his hair over.

1st she’s so precious. I just love her! I have hair very similar to her and I’d like to throw out a couple suggestions. Take em or leave em. As per detangling you have a good system. After you detangle for most curl definition I really recommend puttting on product exactly as you did then going through with a brush to get product through but mostly for ultimate definition. In addition, I also suggest experimenting with a little flax gel. ( Super easy to make and its nourishing) Both those steps will actually help protect the hair because there will be more definition and less frizz and fly always which are more prone to tangle. I also recommend brushing the back up into pony as well. I recommend all that because I can say for my hair if I leave it out for like 2 days (w/o flax gel especially ) it’s like “ ok so we lockin up, right?” Our hair is super quick to lock up and using brush to really define helps that and flax takes to next level. (I do moisture, flax, moisture. Then it’s still pretty soft) This makes detangling so much easier. It’s night and day. Just some things you can experiment with. All the best to you both 💕
