- It was time for my two leopard geckos to get a good cage clean, so in today's video I clean out both Pepper and Sushi's cage, and then set them all up again! Once set up, I give you guys a tour of each cage. I also decided to ditch Pepper's reptile carpet and switch it out for paper towels to make cleaning easier in the future! Also enjoy some more clips of Sushi eating!

My leo loves to clib. She has all the same plants as yours and she'll climb to the top of them and chill for quit awhile. I Don't think she got the memo she's a leo not a cresty..

Paper towels are a great substrate for leopard geckos but I personally think just getting brown paper towels totally changes the look making it feel more natural.
I have 2 leopard geckos, and I’m taking inspiration by the paper towel Substrate and just the setup in general because it looks amazing, of course when I 1st got them about 1 year ago they didn’t have everything that they required, But now they do, and even as they have almost perfect setups I’m still striving for the best so they can be both healthy and happy! Great video

I know its been a long time ago, but about to upgrade my leo tank and want to get it right the second time. My leo likes to climb on the exo background all the time. First Time our pet store said the 18x18x18 is perfect, but I think it's too small.

I used to use tissue too but I found my boy used to chew it so I changed to lino and never looked back 💘 hopefully your gecks aren't as dim as mine... I love peppers decor!! I have to redecorate my boys viv but we don't have a lot of options in the uk when it comes to decor sigh
yeah thankfully i haven't had any issue with paper towel yet! if I ever do have a issue with it, I'll change it no problem!

let me recommend you putting humid hides on 1/2 the hotter side and 1/2 the cold

For Pepper's calcium dish hot glue a piece of paper/cardborad to the bottom of the bowl. It is really hard for them to knock ot over. Awesome video. I hope to get a leo one day :-)

I've never seen anyone put the thermostat probe for a under tank heater inside the tank?! Have always read between the bottom of the glass and the heating pad. 🤷♀️

Hi! I rlly want to ask if I am doing the right thing for my crested gecko. I really need help. I am feeding Pangea, cleaning it out 3 times a week. Along with crickets - around 7 - once every 2 weeks dusted in calcium w/ d3 but phosphorus-free. Is this correct. Any suggestions are welcome
How old is your crested gecko?
I reccomend going to www.altitudeexotics.com and look at their crested gecko feeding and nutrition guide it has a day by day feeding plan for adults and juveniles

For the calcium dish, could I put D3 with it? How does it get its D3 other wise?
No, don’t put d3 in the calcium dish. A calcium dish is not even a necessity but it doesn’t hurt to use one. I recommend just dusting your insects with multivitamin with d3 once for every 3 or 4 feedings where you dust the insects with calcium without d3. Hope this helps :)

What tank is this?
You should try EcoEarth substrate. My leopard gecko Pebbles loves to dig. I haven't even heard one case of EcoEarth impaction.
For your little calcium tipper, on etsy they have a nice little calcium dish that is made so it can't be flipped. It is pretty cheap and good quality. I recommend it. Rebecca from Leopard Gecko on UA-cam tried them and she uses them now.
I personally do not agree with eco earth for leopard geckos. Of course this is just my personal opinion, so it’s perfectly fine for you to use it if you feel it’s best! I just personally cannot use it due to the risk of impaction, and it holds humidity quite well. My house is very humid naturally, so if I were to use eco earth for my leopard geckos, it would be way too humid for them. Leopard geckos joints are also designed to walk on solid surfaces, so soft surfaces can be very hard on their joints and lead to things such as arthritis and joint pain. For these reasons, it’s something I prefer to avoid
@@EmmaLynneSampson I can understand that. I wouldn't use it if my house was really humid either. My tanks are getting upgraded soon, and I plan to add a lot of flat rocky surfaces for them to walk on so it isn't so soft.

Hi! About your hammock problem with pepper, I use a hammock for my leopard gecko not really because I know he will use it I just put it in their to fill up his enclosure a bit more, and of course to give him options haha, I've noticed that most Leopard Geckos don't tend to use hammocks so their just pointless tbh. Great job on the video!😅

it's designed to be a small animal hide/bridge, so you can get them at stores like petco and petsmart in the small pet section!
Where did you get that reptile carpet that fits perfectly?
I had to cut it! i bought a big one that was 36"x18" and then cut it to the size of my cage!
