Hello nice bike. Was the decal you removed under clear coat put on at the factory?
I want to remove a red bar and shield decal that is under clear on the tank from the factory.
It’s a Electra Glide Standard. I want it removed.

I would`ve simply razor knifed the solid inside bits out and you have the outline Bar-n- Shield already in place...?
I have a gunship grey motorcycle and want to do some highlights, same color red. Where did you get the highlights you have.
I would have made your decals red....that would have done that bike justice.
Better but my vote would have been Red line - not solid. Would FLOW with the other red parts not just match up with the other white random bits.

Detailer in me coming out, matte not flat. Primer is the only paint that has zero white in it which makes it flat. Matte finishes may appear to not have white in them but they do

i know you didnt want to go red but the guts red would probably look cool not really two layered, with a little gap inbetween almost making an outline around the red

The top and bottom of the shield was connected to the outline. Wouldn't have worked.
