Bill….good find on that one…Funny,I just went and bought a Badley seized 1977 35hp..Mainly for starting parts..It unfortunately has the old magneto, yours probably has newer stator and Ineed the newer stator type for my 85’,but I knew that going in.It has a manual choke which seems strange since parts book shows a electric choke, but it had a rope start also I believe due to cover.Selling or giving away some parts and throwing away power head and leg..now that it’s stripped.
Its funny you said that about the magneto cause it actually had the older style! I swapped it out with a newer one from a parts motor I bought!! Actually half the ignition is from the parts motor! flywheel too!!
Good video buddy, you know what the screw is on the other side. Its on the gas line. Its a screw you can move along the gas throttle.
Dont think I knew that! great tip! Ill look into it! Thanks for the comment!

Nice. Didn’t realize you could do that.
Is the center tube in the emulsion tube supposed to be kinda laid over?
i honestly have no idea lol
Anyone know where to buy that emulsion tube?? mines all jacked up from previous owner!!
Im not sure you can remove it!! you might be better off with a new carb. they shouldn't be TOO much money.
You know were there mixture screw is ? Location?
I cant seem to find it
should be on the top half of the carb somewhere
you don’t have to remove the starter fyi, just get a hammer and a screw driver and hammer on the side of the nut
Lol gotta decline that method sir
I was wrong 83’ they changed to the stator style. Oops.
haha no worries!
someone tell me why this video got the AVC codec!! and not VP9??? ugh!!
