- Knoxville Tennessee is home to some of the most historical houses in Tennessee. Explore with us as we dig for history at The Thomas and Helen Peed House build in 1889 for lost treasures in a buried Cistern. #Pt.1
That looks like one of those Honorbilt homes from the Sears catalogue. Was just recently browsing the options and I believe this was an option if not very similar to it
well..... the architect who designed those homes... designed this one.... if you watch the full episode on our youtube channel we get into that history with one of the home owners. we just dropped that episode!!

That house resembles a painted lady in my town. The one here has been maintained quite well.
it was designed by the architect who created the Victorian "Kit" homes you could order! be sure to watch the full episode we just dropped where we discuss the history of the home!
Hey! Down the street from me!
Be sure to visit the house!1

WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
What dose mark Twain have to do with this
you will have to watch the entire series to find out! ;)
Don't move there. High taxes .High food prices. Not the southern city you would imagine 😮
too many people here anyway...
don't forget slavery
in episodes where that history is important to discuss we always discuss this. in this episode this house dates to the 1880's after slavery was abolished. the Jim Crow system was being created and as far as we could tell there was no opportunity to discuss that subject int he context of this episode so we did not. but be sure to check out our other episodes where the subject is discussed
