John you crack me up when you coax your buddy into going faster to keep up and you are ding 120 LMAO but you are so lucky to ride with such an awesome group of friends its like family AWESOME VIDEO ride safe guys!
For future journey 's J&P cycle sells a one gallon gas can that fits inside the back part of your saddle bag. You and the boys may want to check them out.
Central Maine HD took care of me back on 09 when I rolled in at closing on a Saturday with a nail in my front tire. took me in and had me out in under an hour.
Great content man, been watching you for a while now.....glad you chose my state to do some riding in. There are so many great rides this state has to offer, I'll be watching for the next time you guys come up, I'll offer up some more great ride destinations for you! I'm also a member of a public safety motorcycle club, good to see your brothers from the job on this ride! As always, stay safe!
It really helps to know the approximate distance to empty using the trip gage. Also here is a little pro tip. I take two empty SeaFoam cans and fill them up with gasoline leaving a small space of air for expansion. I then wrap the two side by side with some duck tape recap em and into the saddle bag. Its 2 quarts of gas for emergencies like those
Good stuff brother. Glad to see everyone’s bike mechanically strong, covering great territory and enjoying the company along the way. Gotta tell ya, you guys all bond and mesh together for big rides like this, is Gold. As important is content over our bikes, our travels, riding in weather, equally as important, is knowing the boys you’re riding with, and how they can roll without complaining. They always say you never know someone until you travel with them….lol. I’ve had a couple buddies, who became one and done, after an invite for a 4 or 5 day road trip. A bad wingman can ruin a trip…. Could be a future video! 😂😂😂🇺🇸
Love your content, share as much as I can. I’ve learned a GREAT deal about things I never thought of or took an interest in with my bikes before I started watching your content around builds, things that work and don’t, why we upgrade to this and that. Thank you Big John. @@CYCLEFANATIX
Glad things worked out. JOHN! Have you seen the Fuel-Tool ? Hooks into fuel line (quick connect) and has small nozzle attached to coil hose and you can transfer fuel to another bike or drain for seasonal storage. One of you guys should carry on your rides. Be safe!
Interestingly enough in the group you have various shades of Black and a Fast Johnnie, god bless the Fast Johnnie was thinking this was a Black and White Video Series. LOL hope you all had a great time.
John my friend, your videos are so kickass, love them, I have a question for you, I’ve always been a full face helmet guy, but seeing you rocking the open face makes me want to alternate between the two now myself. I know you always have good stuff, can I ask what helmet and glasses you have? Thank you Dan
So, I started carrying one of those little amber LED strobes with me a few years back. One of those little flat/pancake types. One late afternoon on the shoulder along a freeway gave me the puckers. I've used it a few times since and at least cars realize I'm on the shoulder.
😂 about the toilet. I’m still laughing. Your friends are funny dudes . I’m in MA and I agree that Northern New England is the absolute bomb. Glad you guys are enjoying it! ☀️
My Victory's fuel gauge never worked right, even watching the mileage, I ran out of gas twice over the years... Both times my wife was riding with me, I never heard the end of it 😐 Until I told her it was the "extra weight" aboard that caused the poor fuel mileage.... 🤣😂 ... 👀
I am glad that you got the bike going and with a group. I had my 2022 Nightster leave me stranded due to the implosion of the fuel pump. Luckily a fellow biker stopped and got me a tow. I know that both my insurance company and my HOG membership offers a tow.
First let me start by saying love your videos. I have a question i see you been riding with a saddleman seat with all your current and past bikes. I currently have a mustang seat and was thinking of switching to saddleman can you provide your thoughts. everywhere i read it says it needs 5000 miles riding to break it in that sounds quite silly. what are your thoughts.
Every rider should know his bike range by setting his "Trip" A or B to zero and experimenting with mileage so you know what mileage capable is of the bike. Most 6 gal tanks can go 200 miles depending on your bike setup most bikes that have been modified in Stages will obviously get fewer miles out of a 6 gal tank. My last 15 Limited stock was able to get between 190 to 210 miles. My current bike 19 Limited with a Stage 2 will get me 180 miles seems to drink more gas.
Love going north on the bike. Maine beautiful. God‘s country.🙏🏻 good bunch of men brothers stick together. Shit happens. Thank you for another awesome video!! U DA MAN Johny😊
That was a pain....I always carry a quart of gas on a trip...nothing too big to take up too much room. I may need it or run across someone else who does and I can help.
Hope one day i get the opportunity to go on a road trip with my friends like this, they don't ride but I'll convince em 🤣Loving the Maine road trip series!
Hi Cycle Fanatix, loving the journey, feeling so refreshed with all the beautiful sights of Maine. Glad you & the brothers got Glen’s Baby back on the road. Will it be Governor’s for breakfast again😂 on the next episode. Ride Safe, Be Blessed and enjoying every minute of this journey ❤
If he has a tank liner, it could be the descpicy in level.. I think mine is incorrect also. And I paid for a liner lol just don't know if they really put one in..3880$ fix ..
As you get older, sleeping is a bitch. Ask me how I know. I exercise before bed and sometimes sit in the hot tub. It works for me. I get 6-7 hours of quality sleep. I have not seen 8 hours in over a decade. I am older than you. As for gas, carry octane additive. I use Amsoil octane boost and their Quickshot additive to combat the really bad ethanol fuels. Parts of America is absolutely beautiful. HD fuel gauges have always been inaccurate on my bikes. I never run it below a quarter tank.
Good old dependable Harley. You would think for all we pay for these machines that they should be dependable and things should work as they are supposed to, especially on a newer Harley like the ones you guys got. I could excuse this happening on a 10- 20 yr. old Harley but I guess unfortunately the joke is on us. 😐
Wonder if you and the boys will be rolling through OC this year for bikefest. Ill be hitting it up first time in 4 years since I moved out to Utah and now came back to the east coast. Be dope as hell to see you guys.
John you crack me up when you coax your buddy into going faster to keep up and you are ding 120 LMAO but you are so lucky to ride with such an awesome group of friends its like family AWESOME VIDEO ride safe guys!
Haha are you kidding me they like going fast 🤣
As much as that sucks. Gas is the least of the problems guys could have!! 🙏 Glad all are safe. "Get it"
I love this channel!....I'm a NJ guy with a beautiful Road King......I hope to meet you guys some day!......LOVE your channel !

Carry a fuel bottle in my bag on my FXRS. Saved me and others more than once.
Wow. What a great video

I know what bike will never run out of gas, that GS 1250, my touring bike of choice , lol glad it got sorted

Very awesome ride safe!!!
Glad it all worked out and no real big issue.
I'm loving watching the trip!

Another awesome video. Wow Maine is beautiful. The cycle community must stick together.

So, I started carrying one of those little amber LED strobes with me a few years back. One of those little flat/pancake types. One late afternoon on the shoulder along a freeway gave me the puckers. I've used it a few times since and at least cars realize I'm on the shoulder.
Always an adventure. I’ve been on that road, it seems endless, pretty but, endless.
Good video. Everyone stayed calm and handed it well
I see he has da Techmount!!!🔥best fone holder ever
Once you get to Baxter State Forest You really can’t go any further. The whole north west of Maine is nothing but dirt logging roads. Lol
Your not kidding
@@CYCLEFANATIXgreat place to hunt in and around that area though. Spent many a day in those cold northern Maine woods.
Y’all keep crushing it with these videos. Love the Maine footage still unreal to see my neck of the woods on your channel 🤙🏽
😂 about the toilet. I’m still laughing. Your friends are funny dudes . I’m in MA and I agree that Northern New England is the absolute bomb. Glad you guys are enjoying it! ☀️

A few weeks back.. I think I got water in my gas.. that was fun
Twin cam always uses more gas then m8, especially modified. Not sure why

I just set the odometer after every fill a few of my bikes dont have gauges so its a habit
Hope one day i get the opportunity to go on a road trip with my friends like this, they don't ride but I'll convince em 🤣Loving the Maine road trip series!

What 3/4 helmet is that
Someone in the group should always carry tubing to siphon gas from one to another. C'mon man!!
Do you use an iPhone or Android? My android auto never stays connected . I was wondering if you had any issues with yours . I'm riding a 22 RGST
iPhone I have no issues
If he has a tank liner, it could be the descpicy in level.. I think mine is incorrect also. And I paid for a liner lol just don't know if they really put one in..3880$ fix ..
Glad it was only fuel, oddball question but I noticed you guys run similar handguards, what brand are they, I need a set here in Minnesota
Memphis shades!👍💯🇺🇸😎
WTF I was waiting for a blown motor the whole video and you ran out of gas
How long have you guys rode together? How about the guys tell us about their bikes?
Dont be that guy !
What year Road glide. He might have a 5 gallon tank and not the six.
The second I heard you say Baxter, I’m guessing you are going to reveal no bikes allowed in Baxter, coulda told ya that one...
What in the bad tattoos and velcro shoes did i just watch? Keep up the good videos!
What helmet do you wear
Gas gauges aren’t always correct. On a long trip carry a bladder.

Awesome video!! CLICK BAIT LIKE A MFCKR!! U had everyone thinking YOUR engine blew again!!!!!!! Good Job!!! Keep up the awesome videos
Don't use ethanol on your fuel I guess corroted can damage engine parts
Funny that you should mention that..in Kanada. All gasoline has 10% ethanol as of July 1/23...cute huh? 😑
My 03 RG gas gage is frickin horrible I mean way off
I always go by mileage gas gauge is useless on older bikes my road king is the same way
Good old dependable Harley. I could excuse this happening on a 10- 20 yr. old Harley but I guess unfortunately the joke is on us. 😐
And yet they keep buying em
smaller gas tank....
Drama Queen.
Wonder if you and the boys will be rolling through OC this year for bikefest. Ill be hitting it up first time in 4 years since I moved out to Utah and now came back to the east coast. Be dope as hell to see you guys.
Love the vest, brotha. What’s the make and what website did you get it from? @cyclefanatix
Do you throw in any kind of workout when on long trips like this?
I wish brother no time. Just ride
Anyone up north speak english?
Que?
