All of them! To be willing to come across as anything other than "yes" people, and to stand up for what, or who, they believe in - some interviewer WILL target someone, if they feel they have been ridiculed, and no matter where you are in your career, these people WILL attack you, or gloat over some perceived misdemeanour.
To stand up for someone else says a lot about their character. xxx

Robin Williams seems like he was a true gentleman, and all of his former costars have nothing but positive things to say about him. Nobody should be outed publicly, and it's nobody's business anyway. I love that Robin supported Nathan throughout the awkward interview.

I can’t believe it’s been 10 years today that Robin Williams has been gone. That man was one of the purest and kindest souls to ever live and he was quietly suffering for so long. One of the few celebrity deaths where I genuinely miss seeing him and yet I never knew him. He truly was one of a kind and his films always bring a smile to my face.

Liked the video; learned some things I didn't know before. Good on the celebs for standing up and making things right. I do have two more celebs to add:
    - Daniel Craig. When Spectre was being promoted in 2015, actress Monica Bellucci was attacked over her being older than Craig.
    - Mark Hamill and John Boyega. They defended actress Kelly Marie Tran from the bullies that attacked her appearance in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. [She received a standing ovation in 2019 at the Star Wars Celebration.]
Wouldn't mind seeing a part two to this list. Thank you; still subscribed.

It is normal for actors to say nice things about their co-stars when they do promotional tours for their movies (or other projects). They are also expected to say that the director is the "best one they ever worked with." Obviously, that can't be true about every director, and I am sure plenty of actors have said wonderful things about co-stars with whom they actually didn't get along. That's why this video was so great! Each event displayed an actor saying something nice about a co-star ... and REALLY meaning it!! In a field that is so full of extremely phony people, it was more than refreshing to see these clips of actors behaving like real people and being true friends!

Sorry but exactly how did Robert Downey Jr defend Scarlett Johansson after that question about her diet? All he did was make a joke about how more people would be interested in that than in his question/answer, and then squeeze her shoulder to indicate he was just kidding. Wow, what chivalry! 🙄
Downey Jr and the rest of the main Marvel cast (save for the wonderful Samuel L Jackson) also failed to defend Brie Larsson when she was being annihilated online, though funnily enough they came out in force to defend Chris Pratt when he was labelled ‘The worst Chris’ on social media. So let’s not pretend he’s great at supporting his female colleagues against misogyny.

Larson is not that great an actress. Which is fine, not all actors and actresses are great -- they can and should be able to still find roles that they can work with. She's good enough to do that.
Larson's main problem is that she's not a good LEAD actress, however -- even less so for the Captain Marvel character. For this and other roles, she's like, "Yeah, I'm playing 'x'. Why should I care?" Well, if you don't care if you play the role, why should WE?
I'm sorry, I want people who get notable roles to CARE about that character, to CARE about how well they do the character. And audiences can sense this. It's why Henry Cavill is so loved -- because when he takes on a role, especially now that he's well known enough to have some say in the role -- he learns about the role and makes an effort to play that character *right* and, if it's suggested that he should play the role in a way he thinks is wrong, he argues for his take rather than that of the scriptwriter or director -- not in the "prima donna" way that some actors (like, say, Ed Norton) do -- but by being able to argue WHY *that character* would be different, and making the argument stick.
This applies particularly to Larson as Captain Marvel -- she played a Mary Sue, she should have argued for a better take on the character. The initial complaints were far far less about Larson in a personal manner (though her reactions got it turned personal), but about how the character was portrayed in the movie. As with all of the "new" characters developed post-Endgame (no, Black Panther did not count -- he was fairly established by Civil War), they did a very bad job of character development and plot development. All the skill and care that went into the movies pre-Endgame literally vanished overnight, and the Marvel movies have been more and more rejected as a result. Go look at Greg Owens' UA-cam channel, and see the one he has, titled "Why MCU Writing Sucks Now | Scene Comparison" -- he discusses Avengers' intro of Hulk, vs. the intro of Ironheart. It is literally fantastic at explaining pre-Endgame MCU and post-Endgame MCU.

If you’d seen “Room”, you’d have a completely different opinion of Brie Larson’s acting talents. She was brilliant in that film.
