In Panama City Beach, Fl., I like Campers Inn Camp Ground on Thomas Dr. Across from the beach and next door to Signal Hill Golf Course.
We go to Buena Vista every year. We’d consider buying if it didn’t get cold there in the deep winter months.
If you think this is over the top, you have got to see Desert Shores Luxury Motorcoach RV Resort in Indio California (Class-A, Diesel Motorcoaches of 36' - 45' ONLY). Just about every pad has a swimming pool. Then there is Motorcoach Country Club, also in Indio Ca.
I live in Alabama. I love the Alabama beaches. They are my favorite!! Very clean and plenty to do. Affordable state to live in.
Where are good places to live in Bama?
Hamilton, Huntsville, Athens, Decatur, Cullman in North Alabama, which centrally locates you closer to mountains, lakes, and within 5-6 hours from the beach. Tuscaloosa, Trussville, Alabaster, and Oak Mountain areas in Central Alabama. Dothan and Foley are both good areas in south Alabama. Lot of good RV parks in all these areas. Me and my wife own and manage a small RV park in our area. I enjoy your content... Keep it up..

Love my snap pads and can give two reasons why they are needed. Stayed at friends in driveway, not a mark left. A second one is gravel site with larger rocks. The jacks would be coming down on uneven surface potentially denting the metal bottom. Very easy to install. I think they are a must item and only around $250. Not every item pitched here is a must have, snap pads are great.

Yes, we are very familiar with that area. We own a condo in Orange Beach that we rent while we travel full time in our motorhome. We are boaters by heart. We had a big boat there for 15 years at The Wharf and SanRoc Cay Marinas. So needlessly to say, we LOVE that area.

Have you figured out yet that you maybe across the street from the beach but you have no access to the beach, you have to drive down to a public access beach entrance. Also traffic on that road is real bad , always busy, and noisy.
You can walk to the beach right from the resort. No need to drive.
Come on down to The Great Outdoors in Titusville, FL and watch a rocket launch.

Yes, I have stayed a lot in that area. There are a lot of rv parks in that area. I could not have stayed there because I had a trailer.

Resort is great. Stayed in #6; we loved it! We stopped on our way back from Florida to Texas. Good review…our Wi-Fi worked pretty good; we watched TV with it. 2021 Dynamax Force 34HD
We are going to stay a week at Gulf State Park next year- it’s so nice!!
We just got home today from Buena Vista RV Resort after a 7 night stay. We took our 5 year old granddaughter and every night she was wore out from the water slide or the beach. We have stayed at Bella Terra, Fairhope Mororcoach Resort, Lake Osprey RV and the Heritage RV. I recently retired and concerned on investing on just a RV lot. I would miss my 40x78 RV garage

Our favorite part too!
We stayed at Emerald Beach RV resort in Navarre, FL. It was a nice campground with access to a private beach on the ICW, not on the gulf. There are about a half dozen sites that back up to the beach and have nice private, covered tables. The sites are pretty tight as are so many private camps. It has a nice pool and the showers were clean and tidy. The price wasn't outrageous so if you don't mind closeness and need a beach fix, it's recommended. Like these folks said, it's on a very busy highway and isn't far from restaurants and all sorts of shopping. Frankly our experience with Orange Beach is that the water was dirtier and had more seaweed than the FL beaches an hour (or so) east but that might have been just when we were there. I will say the traffic is horrendous. We headed east from the park to visit friends just down the road and it took nearly 3 hours to go 50 miles. Years ago we lived near Ft Walton and the traffic was never bad. Plan on spending a lot of time on the road if you travel hwy 98. If you are leaving the area find the closest road to get you to I-10.
So after last weeks video about the trolls that beat you up on your shirt I could not think of a better way to say thanks for what you do than subscribe to be an insider! We are in the process of looking for a class A in the next couple of years and the information we have gathered will undoubtedly save us time and $$. Well over the monthly fee, and we just enjoy the little extra perks! Thanks again for what you do.

Gulf State Park is great. We didn’t find the bugs to be bad at all. We always bring Thermacell just in case there are mosquitoes.
How are you managing to pay the fuel costs to fill this rig? Larger roomier is nice But these fuel $$$$. tks

I heard there is a law that states if a person stay in Florida for more then 90 days for the year and own a lot A person has to register and insure there vehicle there I DONT know the whole legal wording or how people get away from not doing it or if it’s true or not and if it’s true how to get around that
Glad you enjoyed Orange Beach! Buena Vista was on our short list when we bought 7 years ago. We ultimately decided to buy at Bella Terra in Foley. The traffic noise turned us off plus, at the time, there was a change of ownership of the development so we were concerned about that change. Buena Vista is very nice but there’s no question in my mind, Orange Beach and Gulf Shores is a fantastic location to settle in. As you said there’s lot’s to do. Bella Terra is only 7 miles from Orange Beach but its 1 mile from the entertainment complex called OWA. Fairhope is a beautiful little town on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay. That’s another wonderful place to settle in. We love it down there. The one thing we don’t like is they don’t allow dogs on the beach. They used to but, like with a lot of public places, a few as****** ruined it for the 99% of responsible folks who picked up after their dogs and kept them on a leash.

That looks super nice. Be great if you had extra family traveling. With the extra kitchen and living area adjacent you can use the Rv just for sleeping. Honestly thought it was going to be more expensive per night.

Y'all are all up in our neck of the woods. We LOVE gulf state park. It is our favorite place that we go. I've never noticed a problem with bugs there to answer that question. We rent the cruiser bikes there and ride all over the place. They have many miles of paved trails. We go to there at least 2x per year (Its only about 3 hours from us). It is hard to get in even with about 400 sites though. So you have to book ahead. I really liked the park you stayed in, but its too swanky for us. Not that we could get in there anyway with a TT. Love your videos

What timing…doing a family vacation this week at gulf shores! Renting a condo about 3 miles from Buena Vista RV (6 of us so no rv on this trip). Nice location and people are very friendly. My boys and I did an off shore fishing trip yesterday (Off the Hook guide) and caught plenty for dinner. My wife and I are going to scout out a couple RV resorts for future visits. BTW…T-Mobile isn’t much better…Publix is a dead zone so no last minute additions to the grocery list!!

We have been to OB and Gulf Shores a few times. Always in a condo. Now that we own a motor home, this resort is definitely on our radar. We stayed at Hilton Head Island Motor coach Resort this past spring. It is very similar to BV. We loved it and will seek out other motor coach resorts for our future travels. Stay safe and maybe one day we’ll see you on the road!

Isn’t that true for anywhere you stay in your RV?
A deeded lot doesn't usually have internet. It would be up to the owner to have internet available for their renters to use . Do you have internet on your deeded lot? We have cable internet installed on our deeded lots so it makes our our lots more desirable to rent. Our RV park has camplink and it's horrible no one pays to use it.
We do have high speed Internet hard wired to each lot at MRMR. It’s a huge perk and absolutely necessary in 2022

We pulled into Lulu’s and the lines were always crazy long. Didn’t want to wait for hours. We had great food elsewhere!
I just started following you all recently. Turns out we were there the same time you were over the 4th of July. The German Shepard you mentioned may have been ours, lol, along with the three loud small dogs. We were in site 77 near the section they are expanding. We love staying at Buena Vista in spite of it being a bit pricey.
Have you guys reviewed the T-Mobile Gateway? I travel all over with it- it's $50.00 a month with unlimited wifi and regular cell connection (TMobile has the largest 5g network available) It works incredible and I've had up to 6 devices connected with great download/upload speeds. Love the channel!

If you are serious about retiring to the Gulf Coast area I wouldn't be concerned about alligators or snakes. I'd be very concerned about hurricanes! Check the history of storm surge flooding of any property you would be considering buying.
To bad it’s off that main road, it’s a no for me. I think the state park looks nice.
You can stay in a site that is set further back and you won’t hear anything.

It’s a beautiful resort. At 200$/night with the outdoor kitchen/dining/lounge - it’s like a hotel … and that pool!
