I love ewm machines I have a good collection of them
I can't justify upgrading to the new model so expensive now in New Zealand
Only 230 amp machine available so far with the new console
Can't really do anything my older model will do
But still very nice machine

Very nice. Like the fronius, can you select different waveforms for ac and dc? Example Trapezoidal for Ac and Square for Dc?

i just got the new tetrix do i need to change polarity when i switch from tig AC to tig DC OR the machine does it automatically

Hi Skywalker, thanks for reaching out!
TIG DC and AC have the same polarity, i.e. you do not have to switch.
However, you do have to manually switch between TIG and MMA. Have fun with your new Tetrix XQ!
