This games looks awesome honestly. One of the biggest drawbacks to Genshin imo is that I can't create my own character so I'm definitely looking forward to Tower of Fantasy
I don't thibk genshin needs character creation but it definitely needs endgame and more interesting enemies and mechanics which ToF does. Im still gonna play genshin but I'm definitely spending more of my time in ToF than genshin cuz genshin is pretty boring at endgame
@@seraby7151 I've never really seen it that way. I always go for the design of a character over how good the character is. I find that more enjoyable personally so having the option to create my own character is always a plus.
Honestly my first impression before playing genshin was that you customised your character before starting and then my friend said that doesnt actually happen :(((
i'm excited to give it a try. when i first started genshin, i was _really_ hoping for character customisation, since i love doing that. but, unfortunately, i soon realised it wasn't possible, but once i eased into the game i wasn't much bothered. though tower of fantasy's customisation looks really detailed and fun, so that's a huge plus. the two games are really different- tof is more futuristic while genshin isn't, and a bunch of other smaller details pointed out in this video. i think if you've enough time, you can try both.
the function of creating my own character is interesting... and the fact that I could see other players but not necessarily interact with them, but still can conquer bosses together reminds me of WoW which I love playing... Am Genshin main and it still captures me after more than a year playing, but may also add TOF into the mix of games since the play itself can be quite interesting to try out
when genshin came out they called it a “breath of the wild clone” now tof is coming out and they’re calling it a “genshin clone” i get there’s similarities but it doesn’t mean that you automatically call it a clone it is it’s own game and has lots of differences and that’s how games work because developers get inspired from other games too.

So I've been trying the CN version for 3 days. What I can say is ToF's animation and environment aren't as polished as Genshin that's for sure. For example, if you slow walk, you can see the feet slide slightly forward on the ground, hence the "floaty" feel. Enemy knockback animation are those typically MMO-esq: repetitive, and slightly stiff to my taste. Environment and interactables models aren't as refined. However the game as an MMO is quite fun to play. It has better end game naturally as an MMO, as well as better multiplayer gameplay like dungeons, raids, boss battle etc. Imo this is a very good choice to play alongside Genshin.
Yes! louder for the people who didn't hear in their minds "Alongside Genshin Impact" one does not have to kill or compete with the other. make both better and enjoy it lol games are games.
mmorpgs and rpg games are both awesome. tof isn’t as polished as genshin, but it compensates that with (imo) superior combat and a fucking mount system (something that i wanted in genshin for a long time). i don’t play genshin that much anymore, so im hoping tof can keep me entertained for awhile. so far, it looks as if it’s going to be super f2p friendly, and i live for that.
@@skylerfreeman1173 They can be played together and don't have to kill each other but they are 100% competing with each other for the time, money and attention of players. That's unavoidable, but hopefully the competition forces both games to improve and be as consumer friendly as possible. In the end it's the players who will win
Attacking while in the air is so huge. It took me forever to be able to farm Oceanid in Genshin because I just couldn't pull a character that could deal with it. Specifically the three birds that can appear that fly around.
Thank you for this! I was thinking to download ToF but I'm still doubting whether it's worth to share some of time with.. This video helped me a lot. I'll be playing it once it's officially released!
Honestly the only 2 differences with these 2 is that they are open world anime styled games Genshin casuals and waifu collecters won't be switching to this, but the people who have been screaming for end game and content and things to do probably will. And hopefully this will cause mhy to do something about there own game, they seem to scared of change
Yeah, Hoyoverse must change the skill effects just like Honkai Impact, for example fischl in honkai impact she has a good skill of effects and lots of skills
I'm a waifu collector but I'm also already bored in endgame (about to be AR60). writing is mediocre in Genshin so I'm staying in Honkai for now. me and my friends are now bored in Genshin, we're almost AR 60 and yet, there's really not anything to do anymore, meta is already complete, I only really use my resin for Ley line XD so we might transfer to ToF eventually
To be fair i really hate genshin impact character swapping. But its gameplay physics is very nice.. on fantasy tower i really like it because of a very dynamic gameplay but its game physics is kinda clunky and not as smooth as genshin. Gamers should play both and experience it and enjoy its differences
The thing about Genshin which really outshined ToF is just the level of Polish Genshin had compare to ToF, other than that a lot of game element is just a matter of personal preference.
I loved Genshin so much, but had to give up on it because their FOMO / Fear of Missing Out model got too much. The game makes you stay on top of it constantly, until it feels like a chore. Take one break, and the content is gone for good, then you have to resort to hunting down UA-cam videos to see what you missed. It's really a shame. I personally think they should've just ditched mobile, so they didn't have to worry about size as a constraint, so old content could stay. There's really no way for new players to get into Genshin at this point if they care about story. No MMO / RPG deletes old xpacs or content like this. FFXIV for example lets to re-experience the story chapters, as well as watch all the cutscenes through a "Story Journal" -- this is good design. This makes Tower of Fantasy already look like a better alternative, because it doesn't seem to employ FOMO as much has Genshin does, and perhaps is more suited to the average working class adult who needs breaks, and time outside the game. I will say Genshin at least at this point has more polish. ToF seems to have some dissonance when it comes to their UI and certain parts of the game, where the techy / Si-Fi aspects kinda seem displaced in the composition. 5 Great video fren. I like how you say your Os sounds very Australian.
Tower of Fantasy wins 1. character costumization 2. equip 3 weapons at the same time 3. vehicles feature 4. coop more than 4 players 5. roll the first 30X with gold nucleus = auto SSR (in genshin that 5 star character) got SSR in my first 30x draw in ToF but in genshin, wasted real money more than 200X draw on any banner still got 4 star weapon best so yea, ToF defenitely wins
Genshin has a 90 SSR/5 Star character pity! So at 200 pulls you're guaranteed 2 5 Star characters and if it's on the interwined fate banner you'd be guaranteed the limited/up banner character if you lost the first round as it's 50/50 pity! And the weapon banner has an 80 weapon pity for a 5 star! And techincally in Genshin you can equip 4 characters which is their eqivalent to weapons and could have one of each type if you'd like!
Oh, so u want to see which is better like that? Ok, did u get 5 star character in ur 30x first pull?, If not, then genshin lose. Second, if u dont have any other character besides lumine and amber, can u use other type of the 5 star weapon u get besides sword and bow, if not, pity ur self, if ur not top up player
And 90 5 star cahracters from the first time the genshin released, or after years released ( cuz ToF still new and u can see that ToF got the other version with other map + character too, do u know that in the future that ToF will have more character with each different kind of weapon types much different than genshin ever have? Its still new and growing, and u can see on YT that ToF got a lot of fans
i want more action rather than a visual novel genshin feels like a visual novel with a bit of action, too much text and there is no skip button or fast foward. and remember they decrease their text speed in past patch. so reading is taking longer than the usual in early patch
Incredible review that hit some of my most important questions, especially some of the smaller details. I’ll happily be a fan of both games. A well earned sub, thank you for the fantastic content.
Yknow something I just noticed? I see a lot of people saying things like genshins MC is superior because you don’t make them and are made for the story so they fit it and feel less out of place but after seeing cutscenes from ToF and recalling some from genshin, the ToF Mc actually does and says more than the one from genshin, in genshin our character for the most part is a mute who lets paimon talk for them
I can’t wait to try ToF. I’m a huge fan of MMOs. The key difference is that ToF seems more like a MMO than an open world rpg like genshin. Yes, there could be a story and an open world in a MMO but it might be focused more on raids, dungeons, etc. i really like the idea of the weapons being bound to a certain character. It’s almost like having different persona and you can build your character according to how you want to play instead of being limited to one type of weapon.
I love Genshin. But I played it toooo much. I burned myself out and haven't returned sence. Like.. I collected all possible things on the starting zone/ map within 2-3 days. Secret chests and things. And it was at the beginning of the game. No new updates, new areas and bosses and events. Everyone, who sees this comment. Pls do play on your own pace and take time. Do not rush, just enjoy the game and story. This is amazing game with amazing artstyle and cool lore.
That’s exactly why I have been taking my time with Genshin. I don’t care about finishing it quickly I’ve just been playing at a slow pace. I maybe clock in about two to three hours a day if that.
@@zaccampa4055 Thats awesome! I just returned to the game and I feel bad missing out events and its rewards in the past. If only I had played slowly. :D
Well, for me a game doesnt have to be better than genshin to make me play it, gacha rpg that is There things we need in genshin that tof has and thats enough for me
Exactly , i see a lit if comments that feels like people just care about the graphics than the gameplay itself , and i did saw a lot of QOL in TOF that wouldn't hurt having in Genshin
It's only comparable to genshin because of it's mobile platform and gacha also anime styled, other than that there's pretty much nothing else to compare afaik. It compares more likely to phantasy star online
I like the character creation but the aesthetic of ToF isn't as nice as Genshin. The style of the menus and how cluttered they are, is all very confusing and messy coming from genshin which has very simple and clutterfree style of menus.
I am lvl40+ already in ToF and still get lost in all the pages of stuff and don't know what most of the items in my inventory are or do. I remember being the same way early on in Genshin too but ToF is definitely more overwhelming in this regards.
The only issue i have with this game is that it's co-developed under Tencent. Coming from playing Dragon Raja (which is also an mmorpg open world game created by them) im having ptsd from the way they handled the pvp (absolutely horrendous) and story building aspect. I'm hoping the lore will be somewhat better than dragon raja that literally made the mc basically a useless errand person and doesnt make you _feel_ like you're the main character. so sad. The way Tencent made the DR world was stunning, and the housing system was one of the best out there... but all the bad outweighed the good that it made me drop it and go stay with genshin - and it's been 2 years since then. I'm really hoping that at the very least, this game will be much better because i wanna play it so bad. *edit : spelling
@@_EllaLost well have been playing and TOF main character feels more active than in Genshin's for an instance , sure the story focus will fall of more in the side characters since your character is still supposed to be a self insert but at the start of the game your character already had answered three questions important to story building 1. Who is it about? 2. What did they want? 3. Why can't they get it? Also i did played DR and i didn't see anything in TOF that would resemble that mess , since it's leveling it's not linear and not p2w i don't think it would suffer the same problems like it . Also the the Tencent thing , well the game is very f2p , Alquemy Stars is very F2P and published by Tencent too , so i would take more in consideration the developer behind the game than the publisher I writed a lot aff
@@lovelessshoot883 damn that's quite alot to take in, but thanks for the input! i really really do hope that the beta experience would be the same when it finally releases globally cause this game looks amazing
I play Genshin specifically for the characters, lore, and story so having personalization for my own unique character has never really been important to me. Also, I've invested so much time and money into Genshin that if I were to switch now I would have to face the fact of just how much I've wasted on Genshin. I feel like Mihoyo really lucked out here because not many people are going to be willing to trade-off for a new game after all the money and grind they put into their accounts. That being said, what I do like about Tower of Fantasy here is the ability to have different modes of travel (I understand not having a car since the time period in Genshin isn't modern, but Mihoyo could at least give us some sort of beast to ride around since horses clearly don't exist either). Also, I like Tower of Fantasy's art style. It's a lot more refined compared to Genshin. As of right now, I don't see myself starting Tower of Fantasy though, but maybe in the future when I'm finished up with Genshin.
On the topic of mounts- according to the lore, Varka took all the horses in Mondstadt for that expedition. Did he snatch up the ones in Liyue and Inazuma as well? Lmaoo
@@enju3588 You are just mad that despite that and the efforts of whiteknights like you to ruin ToF's reputation, the game is better than Genshin anyways.
Nice comparison! Thanks for this! I’m still not sure if I wanna invest in this game just yet because I don’t like how the developers seems like they heard every Genshin and Honkai impact players complaint and said “write that down! Write that down!” to make ToF. They’re target audience are just Hoyoverse haters with severe gacha addictions and it’s already giving me some red flags about the integrity of this company. But that’s just my opinion, I’ll give it a few months or so before I consider joining.
tower of fantasy will surely be a hit specially to people who had lost interest in genshin's many many cons like endgame content, repetitiveness, stingyness, low gacha chance, banner handling and many more. mihoyo will have to up their game even if it means losing their pride cause things are looking bad for them specially that nee characters are so so and the old popular characters gheyre holding leverage for the fanbase is just at a corner. kazuha hutao ahem. i wonder what would mihoyos next move be.
Im still confused, what I should Play, genshin or tof? i feel control in tof is better but many of my friends are only play genshin, not tof. tof has good futuristic environment too
Launch Day and boy has it been rough with que times and server disconnecting. Genshin I didn't really have issues with FPS, but ToF made my computer struggle
If you’ve been playing genshin 1 month after launch there isnt much to do on a daily basis like literally once resin is finished within 15 - 30 minutes there isn’t anything to do lmao
This makes me realize how much i love Genshin playstyle, story, world building and overall aesthetic so much. Its has so much quality seems like i have forgotten over the time i first play the game. Truly being away from things you like make it better when you came back, just like Tartaglia said in end of the Inazuma event when we are finally parting with our goodbyes.
Not sure why my comment didn't go through previously, but this game is an MMO so the systems in place are very different from Genshin and is geared (especially in the endgame) towards CO-OP play and multiplayer. It may feel lonely at first, but it's far from that because of the deep multiplayer aspect
When companies compete, consumers win... it means more innovation and incentives for better quality products, and more choices to suit more particular tastes. Genshin may have arrived first and I invested significant time and some money into it but I had no problem parking it to try ToF and have not regretted the switch or looked back once. ToF appeals to me in many ways that Genshin did not. I am interested in the rest of GI's main storyline but I will wait for their upcoming anime for that.
I’ve spent too much on Genshin. I’ve crossed the point of no return lol Seriously though I enjoy Genshin too much to try anything else. My attention span prohibits me from playing multiple games at once.
Well i have my own preferences and thinking Genshin impact is a game that new players will love the most cause there will be numerous stories, puzzles and GI is a type of game where you don't compete will others like in other games so even if you left that game and come back sometime later , not much will change, so u can play anytime u want and it's events r not like a fixed time event so do those event any time in your entire day!!
GI main here (ar57 and still playing daily) but ToF feels like a better game in ways. I don't intend to play a ton of the ToF beta sense progress won't carry over to the full release but once the game is fully out it's gonna become my "play this because there's nothing important left to do today in GI" game.
So will there be like 100 of players on my screen like other mmorpg? Also will there be pvp too? If yes then it will be no different than other mmorpgs except for better graphics. Though I'm gonna try it.
I have no idea of the server size yet -- I believe there is PvP but it's not open zone PvP like some MMOs have. This game feels different than your typical MMORPG so I wouldn't personally lump it into the same category as FFXIV, ESO, etc!
Ok. I'm seeing several things that could potentially make ToF objectively better than Genshin. Starting for the *FACT* that the game has a motherfucking skip dialogue button. Even if somebody subjectively likes Genshin better for whatever reason, seeing that ToF will have: Vehicles, an objectively better Gacha, a better multiplayer, a customizable main character, potentially better exploration, more generous rewards, it just makes ToF a better game. It's gonna be really hard to fuck this up for them should they really deliver, because it's looking like they took everything Genshin is currently doing wrong and improved on it. I really hope this game replaces Genshin entirely for me, because as of today I have 0 hopes of Mihoyo improving the Genshin experience in the slightest, even if they get some fierce competition in the future.
Well I play both. Sometimes I get bored or burnt out in genshin cuz of "nothing else to do here" or just being repetitive. Daily grind and quests. also genshin is a casual game. So I play genshin casually unlike before I play like non-stop day to night. but this ToF is good cuz it's MMO and free car customization. It'll be a good game for me to play after consuming all my resins. Hunt the boarking and Timmies pigeon etc.
Very similar in gameplay, mechanics, exploration but that's where it stops for me. ToF has a story that I care about, way more interesting characters, and the high tech/fantasy world is something I like more than the pure fantasy of GI. The simple stuff like the no endurance gliding, the dodge having a separate CD and not Endurance based, vehicles are huge bonus since fast traveling ruins immersion for me. And lastly and honestly one of the best things in the game CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION!!!! It's about damn time!!!!
Tbh, I like how both games have something unique to give, tho I still prefer Genshin because not only the story feels more detailed than ToF, where in my opinion has been really rushed and plot-convenient, but also makes me feel something, in ToF we meet Shiril and lose her in the exact same day, same thing goes to Theo, I can't bond with any character because the story happens so fast that I don't get a solid reason to care for the situation that it's happening
I'll be playing Tower of Fantasy just because it'll be accessible on my steam deck and I don't want to mess with loading Windows, etc. Games that support my couch hours = win. :)
I don't believe that Tower of Fantasy would be a good fit for me cause... 1. I would waist to much time trying to make my character perfect and the way I like it meanwhile Genshin characters design already come like that, you don't have to change it and I personally really like how genshin characters clothes look like than Tower of Fantasy 2. I already did a lot of work on genshin and I don't wanna throw that all to waste 3. I just like Genshin more but that doesn't mean I hate Tower of Fantasy
I hand it down to you, this is a very great video and it's like the perfect solution between the players who hate this game depending on other players thoughts of being a genshin copy and the other way around so yeah, great work my dear 🌹
Storage so far isn't bad -- it's catagorized similar to genshin but I'm also not playing it a ton ton as I don't get to keep anything from the beta account!
After playing both, i have to say ToF is way better! It rewards player for playing, you cant get stuck in story due to getting bored of grinding like in genshin, and almost EVERYTHING can be done with friends/guild mates! Plus IT CAN BE F2P played!!!! World bosses drop ssr weps and tbh, ssr arent the end all be all! Maxed sr is easily stronger than a single sr! And then theres all the stuff the devs added to help you on your way! Ive been hooked for a week now! No regrets! AND they seem to want to aim as high as ffxiv!!! Devs that want THAT MUCH player satisfaction!? Thats saying something!
I'm downloading ToF right now because if ToF is different, great. If it feels the same, then the fact that it's full coop makes it better. My friends and I always complain about how dull and limited the coop in Genshin is.
As a soul gamer yes this will be perfect for me im kinda guy plays 1 man army thats my problem about genshin impact switching characters os not my style playing open world games 3 more days guys see you in game
I saw some videos out there about Tower of Fantasy and Genshin Impact comparing and for real your video was simple and detailed enough to make me choose which one to play ( Yes i never played Genshin ) but for me Tower of Fantasy is more my style i will wait until the release to play it!
Play what you want to play, Don't compare what is better then abandon the previous game and then do it again Play what you want to play, Stop hoping games like flies. You do what you want. Tower of fantasy is an gatcha mmo. Genshin impact is a singleplayer story.
Tbh if i would rate both games i would rate genshin 8/10 and tower if fantasy 4/10, if i want to play a game JUST because i can dress up my char, i will download dress simulator or some stuff like that If i would want to get blown away by combat system i would enter Black Desert online, but even comparing tower with black desert is inaccurate because over there you actually need to learn combinations of keys for skills, but anyway that combat system is 10/10 and out of place for this kind of game I, and i think we, play these games for 2 main reasons, exploration and lore, and tower of fantasy so far looks bad on both, world cannot compare with genshin while fighting feels kinda out of place On another tbh, this game falls back on absolutely everything against genshin: music, graphics, character interactions, WORLD....what i find pleasing at tower of fantasy is that you have an option to change fps to 120 and there is an option to skip useless dialogue After playing for few days tower of fantasy, i realize how polished and smooth the world in genshin is. Hopefully some player base migrate towards tower so that some people up there in hoyoverse decide to polish genshin even further.
Character creation is kind of lame. Reason we like xiao, ayaka, shenhe is because they’re not just nameless NPCs, but characters we get to know about and play with. Biggest draw back I see to tower of fantasy is the lack of individualistic characters. Everyone’s running around in the world with their own custom built character, so who is MC? What is MCs story?
Actually your mc has a story , or atleast a backstory but that is the thing he is supposed to be your standart self insert gacha character (not much different from Genshin's Aether/Lumine in that regard) , also it's NPC'S are more customized than those in Genshin , which each one look like a reskin of another , the "playable" characters have their backstories too , that tell us who they were
Genshin's graphics are good but Tower of Fantasy combat system, character customization, MMORPG, gacha system and oh the graphics of course really took me. I'm AR59 so I eventually burned out in Genshin even if I spent a lot of money before, I don't think I would still stay in Genshin after a few months and so are my friends. some of my friends already quitted due to burn out. I'm only playing Honkai for now due to its storyline being really superior to the hundreds of games I've played. so hello Tower of Fantasy
Battle system - tof Explorer system - tof Story - still dont know Items equipment level up - still dont know Character level up - still dont know ...So far this is how i see of tof
After playing genshin I for yrs - AR 58 & currently inbetween tof - lvl 36, I prefer tof a bit more. It has fast combat, skip/fast skip for both scene & dialogue, customz char, variety in all field to name a few... I haven't seen alot of mia but atp I'm certain I prefer mia over paimon... The only thing GI has over tof's its highly polished in most areas...
Mia can be turned off (and has costume choices) and she doesn't dominate every conversation and when she speaks her voice is cute vs Paimon's voice which is like the yapping of an obnoxious small dog that wont stop! Nothing ruins the moment more in GI when the situation is serious and you are facing off against a major threatening villiian and Paimon opens her mouth to speak in your behalf....
For ToF? I got access to the closed beta testing and they sent us information on how to get it! I believe once the game goes live they'll have a download link on their website for it!
I guess when I think MMO I think ESO or Guild Wars or something similar and this has a different vibe to it so it feels MMO like but not like a theme park MMO that a lot of people are used it if that makes sense!

@@akemi9956 yeah genshin is so boring, alsi genshin must have skill trees in which player can choose what characters skills must be used
I’m SOO excited for tower of fantasy it’s just everything I’m looking for
To be fair i really hate genshin impact character swapping.
Great video fren. I like how you say your Os sounds very Australian.
The monsters is the problem now Tower of Fantasy, they must put a weakness to it to break the monsters, and also the spear combat animation is Stiff
Tower of Fantasy wins
1. character costumization
2. equip 3 weapons at the same time
3. vehicles feature
4. coop more than 4 players
5. roll the first 30X with gold nucleus = auto SSR (in genshin that 5 star character)
got SSR in my first 30x draw in ToF
but in genshin, wasted real money more than 200X draw on any banner still got 4 star weapon best
so yea, ToF defenitely wins
I will say this word back to then : PITY
They have to buy u in tho lol kinda dumb no comparison to Genshin Impact. Genshin Impact is naturally way better 😁❤️
i want more action rather than a visual novel
genshin feels like a visual novel with a bit of action, too much text and there is no skip button or fast foward. and remember they decrease their text speed in past patch. so reading is taking longer than the usual in early patch
Incredible review that hit some of my most important questions, especially some of the smaller details. I’ll happily be a fan of both games. A well earned sub, thank you for the fantastic content.
A cute take. I like it. It's challenging to solo game in an MMO.
"There's only so many hours left for other games"
Me in AR58 who speedrun dailies and resin then log out.
I have time
Yknow something I just noticed?

There things we need in genshin that tof has and thats enough for me
Exactly , i see a lit if comments that feels like people just care about the graphics than the gameplay itself , and i did saw a lot of QOL in TOF that wouldn't hurt having in Genshin
It's only comparable to genshin because of it's mobile platform and gacha also anime styled, other than that there's pretty much nothing else to compare afaik. It compares more likely to phantasy star online
honkai impact
@@1iv247 doesn't honkai have a completely different game mechanic? Like closer to FGO than Genshin?
@@seraby7151 my bad then
@@seraby7151 that's Star Rail , i believe he was talking aboit the OG Honkai 🤔 but your point remains
From what I've heard the thing you said about the main character not being the center of the story was something brought up among beta testers
@@iCritz really?? damn... i really hope this wont make the story spiral downward into the path DR made ://
Aw tencent. *Deletes game*
@@_EllaLost well have been playing and TOF main character feels more active than in Genshin's for an instance , sure the story focus will fall of more in the side characters since your character is still supposed to be a self insert but at the start of the game your character already had answered three questions important to story building
1. Who is it about?
2. What did they want?
3. Why can't they get it?
Also i did played DR and i didn't see anything in TOF that would resemble that mess , since it's leveling it's not linear and not p2w i don't think it would suffer the same problems like it . Also the the Tencent thing , well the game is very f2p , Alquemy Stars is very F2P and published by Tencent too , so i would take more in consideration the developer behind the game than the publisher

@@lovelessshoot883 damn that's quite alot to take in, but thanks for the input! i really really do hope that the beta experience would be the same when it finally releases globally cause this game looks amazing
Both game are very good..but what makes genshin defferent is its story that no one can beat...
Totally agree and the story is to me the most important thing 😁❤️
Uh, typical vulnerable beginner already trapped in Genshin.
@@evilyohoverse150 You're just mad that ToF isn't enough to beat Genshin in popularity lmao
Dont let the sunk cost fallacy hold you back from enjoying other games or gachas
ToF is looking so FUN! ❤
I hope this comes out on console it looks really cool
tower of fantasy will surely be a hit specially to people who had lost interest in genshin's many many cons like endgame content, repetitiveness, stingyness, low gacha chance, banner handling and many more. mihoyo will have to up their game even if it means losing their pride cause things are looking bad for them specially that nee characters are so so and the old popular characters gheyre holding leverage for the fanbase is just at a corner. kazuha hutao ahem. i wonder what would mihoyos next move be.
Just had a ToF pre-registration. I cant really wait to try ToF so i could take a break from both arknights and genshin for a while
Im still confused, what I should Play, genshin or tof? i feel control in tof is better but many of my friends are only play genshin, not tof. tof has good futuristic environment too
you should play whatever game is gonna make you happy to be honest.
Genshin fans calling Tower of Fantasy a clone is the most ironic thing ever.
Launch Day and boy has it been rough with que times and server disconnecting. Genshin I didn't really have issues with FPS, but ToF made my computer struggle
I wish saoif was a wide open world similar to these two and the story quests isn't that short
If you’ve been playing genshin 1 month after launch there isnt much to do on a daily basis like literally once resin is finished within 15 - 30 minutes there isn’t anything to do lmao
you forgot that Mia with a maid outfit and can cook buffs 3 times for you

This makes me realize how much i love Genshin playstyle, story, world building and overall aesthetic so much. Its has so much quality seems like i have forgotten over the time i first play the game. Truly being away from things you like make it better when you came back, just like Tartaglia said in end of the Inazuma event when we are finally parting with our goodbyes.
Tower fantasy looks more up my alley
Both games are absolutely amazing!!!!
Ooo Tower of Fantasy looks fun.
is there something that could cap the farm like resin in genshin?
Honestly I can't remember because beta was so long ago but I feel like there was for somethings? I could be totally wrong though 😂
Imma play both, tower of fantasy Gon be my side game i already decided.
man i've seen so much adds for this, and it worked..
I’ve spent too much on Genshin. I’ve crossed the point of no return lol
Seriously though I enjoy Genshin too much to try anything else. My attention span prohibits me from playing multiple games at once.
Cool reviews. I’ll maybe check it out the tower one. I don’t have too much room on my laptop. However I’ll look it up. Unless they are on ps5 too ?
I think they said on twitter that they still don't have plans on making ToF in consoles
Need add that bosess especially in 2.0+ require tank and support in team especially for f2p players
Mi-a Cooks us Food
Paimon is the Food.
Subbed! Can't wait for the game to release!
Why did they have to rip the art style and intro though.
I can't wait for the official release I'm really excited for this game
Well i have my own preferences and thinking
Genshin impact is a game that new players will love the most cause there will be numerous stories, puzzles and GI is a type of game where you don't compete will others like in other games so even if you left that game and come back sometime later , not much will change, so u can play anytime u want and it's events r not like a fixed time event so do those event any time in your entire day!!
worst thing about genshin is its extremely f2p unfriendly. u can get like only 1 or 2 banner units every year. thats just too low rates.
GI main here (ar57 and still playing daily) but ToF feels like a better game in ways. I don't intend to play a ton of the ToF beta sense progress won't carry over to the full release but once the game is fully out it's gonna become my "play this because there's nothing important left to do today in GI" game.
How much storage space will this game take in an iPhone? I already play genshin and it takes 18GB. I only have 8-10 GB free space left
I have no idea sorry! The beta test I played was on PC!
@@FoodThenGames ok thanks for the heads up. Already pre registered the game.
Another game to worsen my gambling addiction, nice. I'm gonna try it out
Imagine ToF but as a vrmmo,it would be the game everyone has been waiting for!
Sadly, we born to early for vrmmo
hope we don't get trapped in the game by a crazed game dev~
And lastly and honestly one of the best things in the game
CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION!!!! It's about damn time!!!!
I’m so excited to play this game
1. I would waist to much time trying to make my character perfect and the way I like it meanwhile Genshin characters design already come like that, you don't have to change it and I personally really like how genshin characters clothes look like than Tower of Fantasy
2. I already did a lot of work on genshin and I don't wanna throw that all to waste
3. I just like Genshin more but that doesn't mean I hate Tower of Fantasy
I hand it down to you, this is a very great video and it's like the perfect solution between the players who hate this game depending on other players thoughts of being a genshin copy and the other way around so yeah, great work my dear 🌹
How’s the storage?
Tower of Fantasy is an mmo, and though Genshin is pretty, I won't likely go back.
i like both of them whatever gameplay is same but they are so fun to play but genshin is the one create game like this
I'm downloading ToF right now because if ToF is different, great. If it feels the same, then the fact that it's full coop makes it better. My friends and I always complain about how dull and limited the coop in Genshin is.
Don't really care if their similar or not what's important if their fun to play
Appreciate Tower of Fantasy for its MMO-style, customizability and much better Gacha-System which by I mean more F2P friendly.
Play what you want to play, Don't compare what is better then abandon the previous game and then do it again
Play what you want to play, Stop hoping games like flies. You do what you want.
Tower of fantasy is an gatcha mmo. Genshin impact is a singleplayer story.
Genshin lore nuff said, you can burn out in any game, but a huge lore based game immortalizes it
5:16 I felt so glad to hear that. its the lacking part genshin didn't have.
Tbh if i would rate both games i would rate genshin 8/10 and tower if fantasy 4/10, if i want to play a game JUST because i can dress up my char, i will download dress simulator or some stuff like that
If i would want to get blown away by combat system i would enter Black Desert online, but even comparing tower with black desert is inaccurate because over there you actually need to learn combinations of keys for skills, but anyway that combat system is 10/10 and out of place for this kind of game
I, and i think we, play these games for 2 main reasons, exploration and lore, and tower of fantasy so far looks bad on both, world cannot compare with genshin while fighting feels kinda out of place
On another tbh, this game falls back on absolutely everything against genshin: music, graphics, character interactions, WORLD....what i find pleasing at tower of fantasy is that you have an option to change fps to 120 and there is an option to skip useless dialogue
After playing for few days tower of fantasy, i realize how polished and smooth the world in genshin is.
There also are characters.
@@evilyohoverse150 weapons with character skins you mean?
@@fancycake8157 Yes
Actually your mc has a story , or atleast a backstory but that is the thing he is supposed to be your standart self insert gacha character (not much different from Genshin's Aether/Lumine in that regard) , also it's NPC'S are more customized than those in Genshin , which each one look like a reskin of another , the "playable" characters have their backstories too , that tell us who they were
why is it in both games we get a midget girl that looks identical to each other, and they love to tell me what to do?
I like tof better cuase way better graphics on mobile and I play on mobile but I play both
There are only so many hours in a day, but Genshin only takes like 20 minutes to finish your daily stuff.

I thought people would fight between Paimon and Mia in the comments.
Well... I like Mia she's more adorable hihi
It's 2022, at this point everything is a clone of something. Using this as excuse/argument is pointless
mechanics are much better in fantasy but genshin would be better if it had the same mechanics if not better
