    Hello Everyone,
    Q-1 Can we use cooking oil ( soyabean, sunflower, olive oil, canola etc) in place of coconut oil?
    A - No, dont use soyabean, canola,olive, sunflower oil etc , use coconut oil because Coconut oil has a tendency to solidify, so it is used to make chocolate. if you are looking for replacing of coconut oil, then use cocoa butter or vanaspati ghee.
    Q. 2 Can we use ghee in place of coconut oil
    A:- Yes you can use ghee in place of coconut oil, keep chocolate in refrigerator in airtight container.
    Q 3 - Can we use butter (salted or unsalted)
    A:- Yes butter can be used but keep in mind that while making chocolate use melted butter and it does not contain any moisture.
    Q 4-Can we use homemade powdered sugar in place of icing sugar ?
    A - yes you can use homemade powdered sugar.
    Q 5 -Which coconut oil used in the video ?
    A : - I have used here cold pressed coconut oil for making chocolate becouse of its pleasant aroma & taste.
    Q 6-What can we use if mold is not available ?
    A : you can use any plastic container or use ice cube tray as a mould.
    Q7: - Can we skip vanilla essence ?
    A : yes you can skip, its optional.
    Q8: Can we use parachute coconut oil?
    A: yes if it is 100 % pure edible one.
    Q 9 :- Is chocolate melts in room temperature?
    A :- Yes If you live in a hot or humid area, your chocolate will melt if the temperature is too high.The melting point of chocolate is above 78°F
    Q 10 : - Can we use this homemade chocolate for making ganache for cakes ?
    A : yes you can use for making ganache also.
    Q:- How long can we store this chocolate?
    A : Homemade chocolate stay good for a month when refrigerated.

    This is so cool! Lately have been on the lookout for healthier chocolate. But it's usually expensive, and not all ingredients are what I want. So, this could be helpful in making maple syrup sweetened chocolate with no additives! Just need to get some coconut oil now and learn how to make the dry milk.

    I plan on making this soon, but I have two questions. One, can you rate each of these recipes from 1-10? Second, do the chocolates melt when they are outside the fridge? It would mean a lot if you answered these!

    • @YMangaka
      @YMangaka 3 роки тому +2

      To melt, this chocolate would need to be in a very hot room (i mean "close to radiator" kind of hot). Its made of coconut oil. And coconut oil melts when heaten, but you dont have to keep it in a fridge for it to keep its solid state. It can stay solid outside the fridge. And so does those chocolates, in all logic.

    • @shippernessity
      @shippernessity 3 роки тому +2

      @@YMangaka I think it doesn't apply on humid and hot countries tho? Like where I live.

    • @YMangaka
      @YMangaka 3 роки тому +2

      @@shippernessity well obviously if the weather is hot (like during a hot summer) you shouldnt keep your chocolate outside the fridge.
      Same goes for chocolate made of coconut oil.
      I had summer where coconut oil would melt cause of how hot it was so i wouldnt keep my chocolate outside in such cases.

    • @shippernessity
      @shippernessity 3 роки тому +1

      @@YMangaka yes that's really a boomer, but I've tried to temper the chocolate made with coconut oil, I think it improved its melting point somehow, tho I still can't conclude it yet because I didn't use a thermometer, but next time I will. The temperature here in our place averages about 30°C. Is it normal for it to melt at such as those temperatures? What melting point will the tempered chocolate must have?

    • @YMangaka
      @YMangaka 3 роки тому +3

      @@shippernessity well, coconut oil usually melt around 25°C (77°F) so you can easily melt it in microwave if you dont wanna "cook" it.
      So once it melted, you could just mix it with the other ingredients, pour in your molds and cool it down in the fridge so it can solidify.
      If your room temperature really goes higher than 25°C, i'ld recommend to keep your homemade chocolate in the fridge, and get it out only when you wanna eat a piece of it.
