Great review my dude! you went into depth on everything! you're right just everything is more, bigger motors, trucks, wheels, battery, awesome overall board! also always time for coffee.... loved the cinematic music btw as well...
Great detailed Video Scott, however I have to disagree with the DKP and speed wobble. I experienced them when I first Startwd eskating cause I was clueless and new to the feel, but I must say that experience and stance has 98% to do with wobble "In my Opinion" and experience. I can tell who will get them by just looking at how they stand on The board. Keep them Coming big Bro! Be safe!
100% agree, about Stance and experience etc. I was just saying at 60kph on DKP trucks if I hit a bump or a slippery patch I’ll have a lot less chance to recover Vs a TKP.
@@scottdaviesyoutube ok I guess, lol. Had a few bad spill which I'm still recovering from, thats awesome there is a Chance that we might meet there this time around, that will be History! Hope you and the Family are doing Amazing big Bro. Blessings to all!
Awesome and comprehensive video again Scott 🔥👌! Was hoping you got the NASA edition 😭🤣. Personally I don't get the 4WD scene for urban use. For real mountain boarding (off-roading) and races yes 👌. But good to see Exway is upping the battery options so you can actually use it as an off-road board or even extreme range for urban use. Some nice knob wheels and BAM 😎😎. THE 2WD will perform like advertised with the new battery and 90/100mm wheels I take. Unarguably 🤣👌! Listen can be really decent batteries price/quality wise 👌. Again great vid!
@@scottdaviesyoutube yea, it can get like that at times, but the city area is close to where I live, so kangroo point is for fun rides and that under bridge bike way is get to work ride, but I like the bridge more, wide path to crave and have fun on
Hey Scott, I really enjoy your videos but I need some advice. I have a Carbon Hadean that I love, Especially the leds, but it is not water proof at all. I was looking at the Ace Deck or the Atlas Exway Nasa board for a back up board that I can take off road or in the rain or other non-ideal conditions. I like power and range (who doesn't), I'm like 130lbs soaking wet. Both of the boards are similar but the Ace Deck has a bigger battery and TKP trucks. The Exway has the Aux. battery but I don't know how it discharges, can I use the Aux. battery first then jettison the pack or does it just continuously charge the on-board batteries. Any advice would be helpful, thank you!
Hi Scott. Thanks for a great review. I've ordered the 2wd version and would love to hear your thoughts if you have tried the board out in this version? Id love a little video and maybe others would two as 4wd isnt for everyone and seems to get loads of coverage. If not, just some passing comments would be great! Did they fix the issue with 20% battery warning on the remote yet?
Hey! About the opportunity, on the Atlas, the "less than 20 % battery" warning disappear when you click the remote button. When you click it the display go back to normal. A few percent later a new warning appears, and again you can acknowledge it. I think it's great, make sure you see the warning. They need to explain better I think, you are not the first one I see that didn't discovered it (I'm guessing it's the same when the Atlas Pro)
I reckon you’ll get about 60km range with that auxiliary pack and same factors as the ride the other week, my 80km+ board is overkill for our group rides, furthest I’ve gone in one day is like 50km on it. 😂
These are the new ones from Nobleman I’m going to do a video on them, They are best pads I’ve ever worn, SCOTTD gives a discount on their site as well. www.noblemantech.com/products/cx-1-pro-pads-collection
Reaching out to fellow Atlas Pro Owners, do you any idea why my board went back into safe mode after unlocking the other gears and turbo mode? It’s for some reason stuck in safe mode and I cannnot get it out of first and second gear. Any guidance or advice would be much appreciated.
my only tip would be, make sure you are using the ExSkate app and not the original exway app I had that as well, but was fixed once I used their new app
@@scottdaviesyoutube See I was originally connected to the app and now it’s not even reading my boards battery. I can’t find anything in the manual or on UA-cam how to connect the board to the app. Can you tell me how?
The app doesn’t actually connect to the board, it connects to the remote. So make sure the remote is on as well You’ll see something R3 remote from memory
@@scottdaviesyoutube gotcha. Yeah I’m still having trouble getting out of safe mode. I try to turn off the speed limit ride modes on the app and it keeps telling me to change in system preferences. Which I have no idea what it’s referring to. I’ve turned on turbo mode, I’ve put the top speed in each gear and nothing. Still only able to get in 1st, 2nd, and safe mode. Super frustrating bc I was in these modes before just couldn’t adjust speed since I was still familiarizing with the remote.
Lishen cells, at best you get 300 cycles to 80% capacity. Molicel INR21700-P42A you get a little more capacity and 500 cycles to 80%. not a good choice for cells.
You can charge the board in 1 hour instead of 4-5 hours. I think that makes up for it. It takes five - six times as long to charge the Ownboard Zeus Pro battery, which is many people deify it
Ex way do a great job on their boards . Thanks for the look Scott . Have a good weekend.
Would you be able to do a review on pad's and helmets.
Thank you for another great review, Scott. Hope you’re doing well. Much love from the Netherlands!

Making ESCs smaller might have been the solution to fit the bigger battery packs in as it'd have slightly more room for it.
Only problem atm is the smaller you go the less current they’ll handle, someday the tech will get there
they did it, if the deck didn't change on the outside, but it was transformed on the inside. The larger battery does not fit in the OG Atlas
Lishen cells that's the flat battery we can find in celphones right ?
