    18-20miles on hadean seems low, but it does differ on the person and their weight and how fast youre riding.

      The 21700 batteries used by the Atlas Pro support a maximum charging rate of 1.5C. The 1000W charging power is used to charge the battery pack in the skateboard alone, using a charging rate of 1.25C.
      Calculated as follows
      The charging rate used by 1000W is: 4Ah×1.25C×4P=20A
      The maximum charging rate supported by the battery pack in the skateboard is: 4Ah×1.5C×4P=24A

    Nice video. Happy hadean rider but I do understand it's not for everyone. I'm a 45 year old mother of three - I can't afford to come off a board at 45kmph because I need to be taking kids to school in the morning, not be in a cast. So my use case is going to differ from other people. I kind of feel like it's an "Apple" board - quality build, good support and higher price but not the best specks. Suitable for someone who just wants it to work but not to do anything amazing.

      @@aidanalvarez1722 hahah kind of badly. My battery failed last week. Cells are out of alignment and the higher ones are over charging into dangerous territory, with the lower ones getting close to cell drop territory, when the battery is down around 40%. Cell drop is what the community believes causes people to get thrown. Now FULL CREDIT to Evolve - they appear to be replacing the battery. But the issue I have is the BMS a) should have warned me of the issues (it did not, I had to manually check during charging) and b) it should not have allowed cells to charge so high (over 4.3V).
      The board still has never thrown me and still rides wonderfully. But the above has shaken me on Evolve, pretty badly.

    A few things, first of all a great video. Second, the way you cut the three board acceleration part is superb, AE or just faded all three shots?! Third, wonder how do they fare on 97mm street wheels?
    For rubber wheels yea its sooooo much easier to hit 40-60kmh+ and I can see why you would want a board that can do 50-60 on those AT rubber wheels, but if you just ride on streets.. 40-50 is fucking scary shit even on some good roads that you know 100% :D so a board that can get you to 40 and be stable at 40 is where the fun is imo.. that added with an insanely well made remote for Evolve boards wins it for me every time, plus theres a ton of fun at slow speeds thanks to the double kingpins. Dont know how the service is in EU for Exway but Evolve has a couple of big warehouses in EU and UK so parts are most of the time available. Only thing I hate about Evolve boards is the compound of the Bamboo, its super nice and flexy but if you are 90-100KG, 200lbs, you will brake 1 deck a year just about, depending on how often you ride.

    • @rickyeverett
      @rickyeverett  Рік тому

      Hi thanks yes just faded each shot I was going to do like a clone shot but exposer keep on changing as the suns was going in and out 😭 yeah definitely dude riding those speeds on street is crazy I definitely would ride street wheels on a 4wd boards it’s pretty pointless as it has to much power for them and really street wheels are for slower carving sliding ect not for raw speed and power. That’s fair the new remote is very well built but I for me as long as the remote is accurate when accelerating and braking I really wouldn’t purchase one board over another on the remote and all the boards here have double kingpins so you can carve all of them really well. Yes Ino that evolve have various service centres but not 100% sure about exway would be nice if that have some around the world for Easier service and repairs. And yes if you are a heavier guy you will definitely need a carbon deck the bamboo decks just can’t take the weight and all that stress 😭. Cheers for your comment dude much appreciated 👍🏼

      @@TheAegisClaw this is not true. Hadean Carbon is 13.5kg (29.7lb) while Atlas Pro 2WD is 14.9kg/32lbs, so Atlas is actually 2 lbs heavier even in the 2WD version and at the same time it is less powerful than Hadean based on motor power (almost 2 times less - 3528 W vs 6000 W) and with a smaller range (38 km on 160 cm tyres for Atlas vs 40 km on 170 cm tyres for Hadean). Atlas Pro 4WD is 17.7kg/39lbs which makes it 9 lbs (and not just 3 lbs) heavier than Hadean. 9 lbs is a deal breaker if you are looking for a portable board.

    • @ajplant96
      @ajplant96 9 місяців тому

      @@truedmikThe hadean doesn't even get close to 6000w, that's what the motors are rated to handle. Motor watts are measured by voltage x amps, Evolve won't say what amps their esc is set for but I'd assume it's something like 50a with a heavily tuned acceleration curve judging by how it performs vs the 70a Meepo Hurricane. So if that's the case it'd be around like max 2500w on a full charge and only get lower from there. Wouldn't be surprised if that was the case, the "3000w" GTR was only capable of like 1200-1300w max.

    So both Ricky and Chris are now on Exways pay roll. The previously according to Ricky high performing Evolve trucks are now just ok whilst the new Exway trucks are just so amazing and super quality. Comparing a bamboo 2WD to 4WD is valid since the price of it is higher? Does not make any sense whatsoever and 4WD has so many drawbacks that the are just unusable for me.

      No dude definitely not on any payroll and never have been I liked and praised evolve when I was riding the gtr that was like 3 years ago now and at that time the gtr was definitely the best board that was available to buy and I really liked it but I have grown as a rider and the competition have upped there game and are now producing board that are equal or in some cases like the atlas are better for my Style of riding the evolve trucks where when I was on the gtr the best trucks but they haven’t changed since and now other companies are making trucks that not only look nicer but are stronger and better built that’s a fact also why should I penalise another company that’s making a better board for less money by putting it 2wd I will do a video of it in 2wd vs the hadean and the hadean will look like even more of a joke as the atlas will then basically be half the price of a hadean 😂 and the bamboo version is only in the video as I don’t have a carbon and had to borrow the bamboo hadean either way both the carbon and bamboo have the same specs in terms of performance and when it comes to 4wd drive for me there is more positives than negatives but it’s not for everyone. Why are you so angry?

      @@rickyeverett I apologize. I would love to see Atlas pro 2WD since 4WD in so many ways is out of the question. Chris did touch on the differences in real near support of Evolve vs other brands. This means people employed outside of China which cost money. I have had 13 electric boards and experiences of support both of Evolve and others. I actually have an Atlas 2WD of the original version, not super powerful but for now enough. I am though not as in awe over their trucks. DK talks about them like they are Star Trek stuff compered to others. We are all different but I love the Evolve trucks still. Sorry

    Too bad we can't see clearly in your vs acceleration test where is each board, we have to guess. The view is too far, you should have placed the camera closer and the angle is bad. At least, you should have named each board on this sequence. Really hard to see, not funny.

    4wd boards look so ridiculous. Don’t think carving would be as enjoyable on a 4wd board.

      I think they look awesome I don’t ride boards like skateboards I ride them like electric vehicles so I want them to be as powerful as possible but as nimble as well for riding around a city in traffic I don’t like carving I get board of going left to right in about 30 seconds but that rush of power you get from a 4wd board never gets boring 👌🏼 and when it does I just make my board more powerful 😂

    To say there is “nothing there” in the hadeans power after off the line is nonsense in all honesty. The thing is ballistic up to 25mph and keeps up with my hurricane the whole way. So yes it may not feel like much compared to a 4WD atlas pro and a 4WD DIY board, but for general users it is very fast.

    Evolve is Apple of e-skating. Behind the competition in many aspects, but looks nice, has a great marketing department, and a bunch of dumb followers defending their favourite money-grabbing company like their lives depend on it.
