I watched this about two years ago and liked it. Ran across it again today and watched it again. learned much more and when sampling will dry pan most of it and finish the rest with water which will be a big help out here in the Sonoran desert.
Thank you for all the information about gold dropping out with the heavys and where to look in the riverbed. Learned a lot. Keep doing the videos. Love em.
The one thing off in this very informative video is ... SANDELS ... he did mention stickers , snakes , spiders , as for me I have seen scorpions mostly but even black widows may nest in the near brush.
Dry panning would be so convenient if it even sort of worked. I am only a novice, but I strongly recommend one shave some flakes off a bullet or sinker and count those that remain after dry panning to see if you're ok with the results before doing it. Thanks for the video. That being said, it makes me want to go sample.
This is a very informative video I got past your speech impediment quickly because I wanted to learn s much as possible about finding gold.its too bad there's so many "adults" in this world that are still stuck in a 3rd grade mentality. The ones that are making fun of you are the ones who complain that their gpaa claim that they drove their car to and got out 10 feet has No gold ! I look for it where hopefully nobody's had the balls to hike to!
you must be a teacher of prof. due to your ability to not use ah, hum and other filler words. Very interesting and useful as are all your videos. Glad to see you are still making them. It had been a while.
A very good demonstration for the greenhorn on how to pan. But your attire is not recommended. The Cholla is is going to teach you a lesson. Always carry a comb in the desert.
Man eating? No. Man attacking? Hell yes. They're huge out here near Florence, AZ. Encroach on one or startle one, or even piss one off and it'll protect itself like any other mammal.
Gosh. A few tips not to do shown here !!! No sandals , Respect for those who use metal detectors ...never use wire brushes use natural fiber , classifying takes under 2 minutes easily but you must be vigorous , Always pan to pan and double pan or detect the overage from the panning , Bumping / tapping is hard to learn gold will bounce out of a tipped/tilted pan ! , in the interest of time this gentleman's methods work , but as you will learn , his "style" can be accelerated considerably. scraping off the material on top of a pan , yes , pan to pan , once you have vigorously agitated your material even 1 minute gold is not likely more than 1/2" above the bottom of the pan ... scrape the excess to another pan and detect it .
+HowToDrillAWell I have an electrical experiment application and was not wanting it for aesthetics nor do I want the gold, however i did find magnetite on ebay, thanks anyway, i just figured you would end up with it when you are working in your garage
whare in Arizona are you from?im really interested in this is there anyway you can give me any advice im in Tucson and I don't know ware i should go?Its a hobbie i love to do but buying pay dirt is not my thing.please help!
+Margie Claire Leone It's possible, I've done it - but dirt is heavy and it's rare that you can find high-enough grade material to justify the hauling, especially out of remote locations where you often find gold.

Man-eating jack rabbits! LOL! ok so I just viewed this today. Better late than never.
Are we supposed to take this dude serious about the dangers in the desert while he's wearing sandals?
OK Karen. 🙄

Im new to this and your videos are amazing so thabk you for making these. But what is whattle?
Thanks. Nice video, but you might consider using close up shots during panning demonstrations to show how much gold was revealed.
Jeez, you want him to pan it for you too? Just kidding .
We need to pan with some high quality h2o
My momma say
jesse fields 😂😂😂
Might want to retitle this video to dry-panning. I found this by obscure chance.... All the vidoes on this go to Jeff Williams videos.
+Atreyu97 Thanks for the suggestion, have done so now :)

Drag0nslay3r 😂😂

“Man-eating jackrabbits”? I EAT all kinds of rabbits!
lol i like the way you say water xD watall
would you sell the black sand you find?
+Don Leibold No, it's not really worth that usually. You can buy pay dirt bags on Ebay with guaranteed color in them.

Jeremy Van Allen
if you ever need a hand or do another gold teaser veido.. please id love to go!
David Hargis I'm still learning myself. I currently don't have a driver's license so I'm having a hard time getting to the hills myself.
A small battery powered car vacume cleaner will suck up everything
WATOL
What you say at 2:09 watuh wivuh?
Man, where are your knee high boots???
Got it, no water in the desert.
🤣not so much that the water "magnifies" the gold it's the fact that it rinses the coat of desert dust off the gold therefore making it highly visible
The magnification is good for morale though, especially when 60 percent gets shaken out of the pan.
Hewuuh
The video capture from More than 2 kilometers distance 👎👎👎
Man eating jack rabbits?
You laugh those jack rabbits round hare are size of kangaroos.
Was he stoned?
why not bring 20 quart pails with you , load them up with all the choice dirt , load them into your pickup and take the dirt to the water?
+Margie Claire Leone It's possible, I've done it - but dirt is heavy and it's rare that you can find high-enough grade material to justify the hauling, especially out of remote locations where you often find gold.
Those jack rabbits have really big nasty teeth.
If you are giving advise on how to find gold shouldn't you actually be able to find gold?
He took a single pan sample in the video which had gold...
Wottle
Silly
Lol
your not dressed to be in the desert
He will learn when the Cholla attacks him.
You do not know much about the desert life or the desert in general.
